Watching the two bickering, Pheobe couldn't help but chuckle, " Mr. Malfoy, if this letter is delivered, Madame Maxime might really come out to greet us in person."
Gabrielle's little face was full of joy and anticipation as she skipped around, exclaiming, "Great! Now I can play with my little brother or sister!"
Hermione was taken aback by Gabrielle's question, and the blush that had just faded instantly returned to her cheeks.
She looked at Draco, flustered and speechless for a long time. "How... how should I know..."
"What do you think?" Draco countered.
Gabrielle tilted her head, tapped her chin with her finger, and pondered for a few seconds. Then her eyes lit up, and she exclaimed:
"I think it will be golden brown! Like Draco's blonde hair, and like Hermione's brown hair, it will definitely look amazing!"
After saying that, he clapped his hands, looking very confident, as if he could already see the little baby with golden-brown hair.
"That's not bad either. Have one golden one, one brown one, and then have another golden-brown one."
Hermione's face instantly turned bright red, almost bleeding. She punched Draco's arm hard and scolded, "Are you never going to stop?! Three more?! Who wants to have any of those with you?!"
"No way!" Gabrielle exclaimed. "Wow! Three! That means I'll have three little playmates! The golden one will look like Draco, the brown one like Hermione, and the golden-brown one will be the most special!"
She then tugged at Hermione's hand, her face full of anticipation, " Hermione, can I help you take care of the babies? I'll tell them the story of Beauxbatons!"
Hermione trembled slightly from Gabrielle's shaking, so embarrassed she wished she could disappear into the ground.
Her hand was still on Draco's arm, just softly resting against it.
Her cheeks flushed red, and she stammered, " Bri, don't... don't listen to his nonsense, there are no three friends..."
She dared not look at Draco, nor dared to look directly into Gabrielle's bright eyes; her gaze drifted toward the flowerbed beside her.
The blush on her face wouldn't fade, and she couldn't withstand the teasing from the two people, one big and one small.
Seeing this, Pheobe came to Hermione's rescue, saying, "Alright, alright, stop teasing Hermione. Let's get down to business."
"Do you still want to visit the Beauxbatons campus? If you really need recommendation letters, I can help you polish the wording and even deliver them to the Headmaster's Office for you. It's better than you messing around with it yourselves."
"Thank you, Pheobe!" Hermione seized the opportunity to escape.
Draco smiled, deciding to call it quits while he was ahead. He found a private room in a magic café and ordered parchment, a quill pen, and dark green ink.
When he picked up his pen, his playful smile vanished, and he began with a confident and poised demeanor.
To Madame Maxime, Headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic:
I Draco Lucius Malfoy, the current heir of the Pure-blood Malfoy family, am visiting France with my fiancée, Hermione Jane Granger. Having long admired the elegant and profound culture of Beauxbatons School, and also respectfully requesting permission from Your Excellency the Headmaster to visit the school and see its beautiful gardens and teaching facilities, I hope Your Excellency will grant my request.
Best wishes.
Sincerely Draco Malfoy
After he finished writing it, he handed it to Hermione, his tone slightly smug. "How about it? Pretty decent, right?"
Hermione glanced at it, didn't refute, and simply said, "It's fairly coherent, and didn't say anything excessive."
Pheobe took the letter, carefully folded it, and placed it in the gold-rimmed envelope, smiling as she said:
"Leave it to me. My owl will deliver the letter for you. I'll go back to school and deliver it directly to the Headmaster's Office. It's faster than the owl delivering the letter, and I can put in a good word for you in person."
Before leaving, she patted Gabrielle's head and said, "Be a good girl and wait for me. I'll be back soon." Gabrielle nodded vigorously, eagerly awaiting good news.
A moment later, Pheobe rushed back, a smile on her face, and waved the gold-embossed reply in her hand, "It's done! Madame Maxime has agreed!"
She opened the reply letter and wrote, "To Mr. Draco Malfoy:"
It is a pleasure to hear of your visit. I have long admired the Malfoy family. We grant you permission to visit the school with your companions at 10:00 AM tomorrow. Our school will send students to guide you. We hope that you will abide by the school's rules and not disrupt the school's order.
Aurora Maxim's "
As soon as she finished speaking, Gabrielle cheered, "Great! We can go to Beauxbatons!"
"See? I told you there wouldn't be any problems," Draco said smugly, while Hermione's eyes also held anticipation.
The next morning, just as the sun began to shine over the rooftops of the small town in southern France, a magnificent Beauxbatons carriage pulled up in front of the inn where they were staying.
The carriage was pulled by eight winged horses with silver-white manes. The carriage body was a warm cream color, inlaid with gilded patterns, and the coat of arms of Beauxbatons was engraved on the doors.
Two golden wands crossed in a cross shape, each tipped with three glittering silver stars.
The carriage curtain was slightly lifted, and a tall, straight-backed Beauxbatons girl in a royal blue silk school uniform stepped out, bowing politely and nodding to the group.
" Mr. Malfoy, Miss Granger, Miss Pheobe, His Excellency the Headmaster has sent me to fetch you to Beauxbatons. The carriage is ready."
Pheobe smiled and stepped forward, naturally taking Gabrielle's hand, and said to the two of them:
"Let's go. Madame Maxime always pays great attention to hospitality and will certainly send a school carriage to pick us up. This is a rule of Beauxbatons and a sign of respect for our distinguished guests."
Draco helped Hermione into the car, then sat down himself, while Gabrielle sat next to Pheobe on the other side.
The carriage was lined with soft velvet cushions, and thin gauze curtains hung from the windows, making for a smooth and silent ride.
The winged horse's hooves clattered as softly as falling snow.
The scenery outside the window rushed past, gradually moving from a bustling town into lush mountain forests.
About half an hour later, the carriage entered the heart of the Pyrenees.
After passing through a magical barrier hidden in the clouds, the entire Beauxbatons Academy of Magic suddenly came into view.
It was a magnificent French Baroque palace, its white marble exterior gleaming softly in the sunlight.
The palace is surrounded by an endless magical garden with its spires and columns arranged in a staggered pattern.
Fountains are scattered throughout the garden, their water gurgling and carrying a faint floral fragrance in the steam.
The carriage slowly came to a stop in the white jade square in front of the palace's main gate. The female student who had led the way alighted first and respectfully opened the door for them. "Gentlemen, we have arrived at Beauxbatons."
Pheobe got out of the car first, turned around and took Gabrielle's hand, and said to Draco and Hermione:
"Follow me. Madame Maxime should be waiting for us in the drawing room. Remember to be polite when you see her. Although she values social standing, she also appreciates well-mannered young people."
Draco straightened his collar, nodded in agreement, put his arm around Hermione's waist, and whispered, "Don't worry, Malfoy would never be impolite."
Hermione patted his hand lightly, but her gaze was drawn to the surrounding scenery; the flowers and plants in the garden were all magical species.
Some petals murmur in the breeze, while others spout colorful bubbles from fountains.
The bubbles also reflected French fairytale scenes, quite different from the rustic and rugged Hogwarts.
