After arranging Lupin's accommodation and research direction,
Draco snapped his fingers.
With a soft snap, House-elf, appeared Dobby in the center of the living room, wearing a brightly colored sweater knitted by Hermione, though the stitches were a little crooked.
The sweater was embroidered with HB, and its large eyes shone with the same unwavering awe for Draco.
" Dobby, this is Professor Remus Professor Lupin. He'll be staying here from now on. He's my... um, principal investigator."
Draco explained, then continued giving instructions.
"You are now in charge of the professor's daily life, the laboratory's logistical support, and liaison with the estate owner. Remember, the professor's orders are my orders. Respect him as you would me, understand?"
"Yes! Great young master!" Dobby shrieked.
" Dobby will take good care of the esteemed Professor Lupin! Dobby will prepare the best food, clean the cleanest room, and absolutely ensure that the socks do not disturb the professor's research!"
As it spoke, it nervously glanced at Lupin's feet, as if trying to check if there were any socks that needed washing.
"Thank you, Dobby. I'll be troubling you in the future. Don't be so polite, just call me Lupin." Lupin was Dobby embarrassed by Dobby's overly enthusiastic and somewhat comical promise.
" Professor Lupin, you're Dobby kind! It's an honor for Dobby to serve the great Draco and the esteemed professor!"
Dobby bowed, then disappeared with a snap, probably to prepare afternoon tea or snacks.
" Dobby is a bit special, but absolutely reliable," Draco said to Lupin. "Just tell him what you need. Pack your things and settle in; I'm going back to the main house."
"Okay." Professor Lupin was still looking around his new home.
That evening, at the magnificent long dining table, Lucius and Narcissa listened as Draco recounted how he had poached Dumbledore's man, arranged for Professor Lupin to stay in the second house of the manor, and promised to support his advanced research on Werewolf.
" Remus Lupin... I remember him, a... Werewolf." Lucius put down his knife and fork, wiped his mouth, and
" Professor Lupin's talent is beyond question, but recruiting him and supporting such... sensitive research..."
Narcissa also looked at Draco with concern, her eyes filled with trust in her son's decision.
" Laodeng, there are many benefits to keeping Professor Lupin."
"First, Professor Lupin has strong research capabilities, which can enhance our family's business empire;"
Secondly, there's reputation. Our Malfoy family's actions—hiring and supporting a Werewolf scholar for high-level research—are far more convincing than any speech or donation.
Third, the Werewolf problem has always been a persistent issue in the Wizarding World, and a root of many tragedies and hatreds.
"If we can support Professor Lupin and find a possible cure or control, the significance would be immeasurable."
After listening to Draco's words, Lucius nodded, his eyes showing appreciation; he shared similar thoughts.
This is not merely charity or recruitment; it is a multifaceted strategy encompassing political considerations, reputational interests, and long-term benefits.
"Very good, Draco! Do it your way. Just tell me what support you need from the family."
Lucius picked up his knife and fork again and began to eat gracefully.
" Professor Lupin is a pitiful man, but also a talented one, and deserves to be treated with care," Narcissa said gently with a smile.
After dinner, Draco returned to his room and took out the Two-Way Mirror, calling Hermione's name.
Soon, ripples appeared on the mirror's surface, revealing Hermione's slightly damp curly hair and rosy cheeks.
"Just finished showering? Have you eaten?" Draco leaned against the headboard, looking at his girlfriend in the mirror, in a good mood.
"Hmm, I've eaten. I spent half the day cleaning the attic for Mom, I'm exhausted." Hermione dried her hair with a towel and asked, "Has Professor Lupin made any arrangements?"
"It's all arranged. I'll be staying in the next building; Dobby care of me. My parents were very supportive after hearing my reasons," Draco briefly recounted their conversation at dinner.
"This is good for Professor Lupin, and good for your family too. Who knows, you might actually discover something!"
"I don't really care," Draco changed the subject. "What are your plans for summer vacation? Where do you want to travel?"
I haven't decided yet.
"I have an idea."
"What?" Hermione asked curiously.
I'll keep you in suspense for now, I'll tell you in a couple of days.
"You do it again!" Hermione scolded playfully.
My curiosity was rekindled.
They chatted for a long time before saying goodnight to each other.
A few days later, in the afternoon, Dobby told Draco that Lupin was looking for him, so Draco went to Lupin's villa.
"I found it! It's in those ancient books!"
Lupin spread the parchment out in front of Draco; it contained some little-known secrets about Werewolf, written in ancient Runes and scribbled English.
"It mentions here that besides ordinary Werewolf, there also exists an extremely rare High-level Werewolf!" Lupin's fingers trembled with excitement as he tapped on the lines of text on the parchment.
"They achieved absolute control over their own animalistic nature!"
"Not only can one control their transformation at will, but they can also maintain complete rationality and humanity while transforming,"

Draco also understood its value.

"They've now migrated to the United States and are said to be active in the United States underworld; we can try to find them there!"
Lupin couldn't wait to set off.

Although Lupin was also eager to go in person, Draco was right; his physical condition was indeed a hindrance, and the research that was just beginning at the manor really couldn't do without him.
After a moment's hesitation, Lupin finally nodded resignedly but trustingly. "Alright... you're right."
