My hair was washed in just a few minutes.
Draco wrapped her hair in a super soft towel, gently patted it dry, then drew his wand and skillfully cast a quick- Drying Charm. A warm breeze swept over, and her short ponytail quickly became cool and more stylish than before.
"Alright, perfect." Draco looked at his girlfriend, who had regained her radiance, with satisfaction and snapped his fingers.
Hermione opened her eyes, looked at her radiant reflection in the mirror, and couldn't help but smile.
"Let's go, my princess."
Draco extended his hand in a gentlemanly manner, and Hermione took it.
The two smiled at each other, Draco put his arm around her waist, and with a loud noise, the surrounding scenery instantly distorted and spun.
The next second, they appeared in a quiet corner of a busy London harbor, the scent of the sea breeze wafting towards them.
The air was filled with all sorts of sounds: the distant whistles of ships, the cries of seagulls, the faint voices of people on the dock, and the rolling of suitcase wheels across the ground.
Before them, the top-of-the-line luxury cruise ship that was about to carry them across the Atlantic Ocean firmly captured their attention.
"Wow..." Hermione couldn't help but exclaim in amazement.
Even though I had seen photos of cruise ships in books and photographs, seeing them in person was still an unparalleled experience.
The same goes for Draco.
This top-of-the-line luxury cruise ship, sailing from Britain to the United States, resembles a classical palace floating on the sea.
The ship was massive and long, its white paint gleaming dazzlingly in the sunlight, with deep sapphire blue and gilded lines inlaid on the hull.
The towering chimney, painted with the shipping company's emblem, immediately commands attention, making it the most prominent ship in the harbor.
The ship has multiple decks stacked on top of each other, with white lounge chairs and parasols neatly arranged on the open decks, surrounding the central azure swimming pool and jacuzzi.
The superstructure is filled with expansive viewing windows, and rows of snow-white lifeboats are neatly arranged on both sides of the ship; near the stern, there is also a spacious promenade deck.
The entire cruise ship is grand yet serene, like a floating five-star hotel, lacking the flashy and ostentatious features of modern giant ships.
The dock was a bustling and orderly scene.
The cement ground was spotless, with clear lane markings painted on it, and thick mooring ropes were tied to the shore, securing the giant ship firmly to the port like a giant python.
The boarding bridge connects directly from the pier to the cruise ship's boarding entrance, which is several stories high, with a red carpet laid all the way to the bridge, creating a strong sense of ceremony.
The lampposts along the shore are neatly arranged, with the Britain flag and the cruise company flag flying atop them, the flags fluttering in the wind.
In the distance are container terminals, huge cranes, and warehouses, but the luxury cruise ship boarding area is cleverly separated, forming its own unique style and showcasing a superior level of sophistication.
The people preparing to board the ship were dressed smartly and elegantly.
The men wore well-tailored suits or trench coats, while the women wore elegant coats and hat suits.
Most of them were nobles, wealthy businessmen, and scholars of distinguished status, or families with children, looking expectant on vacation.
People dragged their suitcases, held their tickets and passports, and queued in an orderly fashion under guidance. They looked relaxed and full of anticipation, occasionally letting out cheerful laughter as they chatted in hushed tones.
The crew and staff were all dressed in pristine white uniforms, their hats worn impeccably. They stood at the entrance of the boardwalk to greet guests, guide them, and check tickets, their faces adorned with professional and enthusiastic smiles.
Baggage handlers pushed luggage carts back and forth, while customs, border control, and security personnel stood guard at the entrance to maintain order.
Outside the railing, people waved goodbye, some holding small flags, others holding cameras to capture the moment.
There are quite a lot of people.
Hermione couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder as she looked at this diverse array of people.
"We're not going that way." Draco took her hand and led her to a passageway leading to a presidential suite.
The scene here is completely different.
This is a separate, enclosed corridor, where a butler will guide you, and a private elevator will take you to your room.
Draco purchased the most prestigious presidential suite at the bow of the luxury cruise ship, which grants him access to a private lounge at the dock.
I thought only a personal butler would be waiting, but when I opened the door, a group of people were already waiting inside.
The captain, dressed in a sharp white formal uniform, stood at the front, flanked by the first mate and the chief of protocol.
As Draco and Hermione approached on the soft red carpet, the captain stepped forward and extended his hand.
"Welcome aboard, sir! I am the captain, Edward Smith," Draco said, shaking hands with him.
"That's thoughtful!" He didn't seem to care.
The captain, not daring to be negligent, immediately turned to Hermione and nodded slightly, "Welcome aboard our cruise ship, Miss."
Hermione was flattered by the show of force and quickly returned a polite smile and nod.
She hadn't expected the captain to come and greet her personally! This treatment was far too... grand! She instinctively looked at Draco.
"Please follow us." The captain gestured for them to come.
Draco and Hermione followed immediately.
On the surface, the two had almost no luggage; Hermione only carried her small, cute otter handbag, which already contained everything she needed.
Draco had previously used magic to shrink his suitcase to the size of his palm and placed it inside Hermione's otter pouch.
"Please feel free to inform me of any arrangements you may make on board, or any needs you may have. The entire crew will do their utmost to ensure a comfortable and worry-free journey for you," the captain said as he walked.
"I will have someone notify you if needed."
Draco's tone made it sound like he was the captain.
The presidential suite's private passageway is completely different from the VIP supply passageway. This passageway is more private and quiet, with thicker carpets and softer lighting, and offers unobstructed access.
Soon, the two were taken to the presidential suite.
Pushing open the heavy double doors, the sight before me was breathtaking. Upon entering, I was greeted by a high-ceilinged living room.
The space is designed to follow the curve of the bow of the ship, forming an elegant fan-shaped hall with an extremely open view.
Room key cards, ship's guidebook, and restaurant seating cards were neatly arranged on a gilded tray at the head of the bedroom bed.
Beside the tray, a bottle of fine welcome champagne sat chilled in an ice bucket, and an elegant fruit platter exuded a refreshing aroma.
"I hope this place is satisfactory to both of you. Please feel free to contact me anytime via the dedicated phone line in the suite if you need anything."
The captain stood at the door and reiterated.
"Thank you." Draco nodded.
The captain and his entourage respectfully withdrew, and before leaving, the captain nodded again in farewell. "Have a pleasant journey, both of you."
As soon as the door closed, Hermione stood in the center of the living room, looking around at the extremely luxurious furnishings, and couldn't help but sigh softly:
"This is so grand! It's many times more exquisite than a five-star hotel, and the arrangements are incredibly thoughtful..."
She then became somewhat puzzled, "The captain himself came to greet us, isn't that a bit too... grand?"
