"Actually, it's not too bad. This film has Uncle Jiu in it; he's a professional, killing off enemies one by one, which greatly reduces the horror level. If it were a pure Chinese horror film, with that kind of atmosphere, like flickering lighting, eerie nursery rhymes, and sound effects that send chills down your spine even without ghosts..."
Upon hearing this, Trillian's eyes lit up, and she asked curiously, "So that's how it is! Then, young master, when can we watch this kind of film again? I'd like to try it out and slowly build up my courage."
Draco glanced at her and said threateningly, "I'm afraid if you watch too much, you won't be able to sleep alone at night anymore."
"That's true," Trillian stuck out her tongue. "Another day of envying Hermione. She must be so timid sleeping with her young master holding her."
"What's there to envy? That guy's hands and feet are always wandering... I'm annoyed by him." Hermione said, quickening her pace, not wanting Trillian to see the faint smile on her lips.
"Oh? You're not keeping your hands and feet still? It seems you're very 'responsible' at work every day, young master?" Trillian confirmed with Draco.
"Nonsense," Draco denied. "I was just making sure that everyone reading as a group got proper rest."
"A proper rest?" Although Hermione was shy, she still called him out, " Malfoy, that hand of yours that's been on my waist for two whole hours without moving, and keeps slipping down, is it some kind of new sleep aid?!"
"Pfft," Trillian chuckled, her words utterly shocking. "Young Master, Hermione doesn't seem to like this. How about you sleep with me tonight, and I'll let you touch me..."
Hermione was completely bewildered, not even reacting for a moment, just staring blankly at Trillian. The next second, she snapped out of it, a surge of intense dissatisfaction rising within her. She narrowed her eyes at Trillian: " Trillian, do you want to die?"
"I was wrong! I was just joking to lighten the mood!" Trillian immediately admitted defeat, then stepped aside.
The three then chatted casually as they strolled along the deck of the cruise ship, enjoying the gentle evening breeze and the tranquil night.
But just as they were a few meters from the deck railing, several dark figures suddenly leaped up from the outer edge of the cruise ship.
In just a few seconds, all eight men boarded the ship, each carrying a different type of standard firearm.
"You'd better not move or say anything, or Laozi 'll send you to meet your God right now!" a burly man with a menacing face warned menacingly.
Trillian's gaze swept over the group's attire.
All were dressed in black and camouflage tactical uniforms, heavy tactical vests, durable military boots, and tactical gloves.
She could tell at a glance that these people were professional mercenaries, but she didn't panic, because she knew that with Draco and the other man there, these people were nothing but clowns.
Just as she expected, facing the several dark gun barrels, Draco said to Hermione in a calm, even voice:
Hermione, protect Trillian.
"Okay, be careful." Hermione nodded gently, her wand already slid into her palm, silently blocking in front of Trillian, ready to cast the Shield Charm at any moment.
A burly black mercenary across from them leered as he swept his gaze over Hermione and Trillian, lingering for a few seconds on Hermione's face and Trillian's alluring figure before grinning, revealing a mouthful of white teeth. "Hey, boss, looks like there's an extra treat to be had on this mission."
"Yeah," another short-haired mercenary whistled, "I never expected to run into such a gem."
A man wearing a beret, who looked like an assistant, licked his lips, his greedy gaze shifting back and forth between Hermione and Trillian, before shaking his head with a hint of regret.
"Only two? That doesn't seem like enough to go around."
"Enough talk, get the people under control first. Once we've finished our business, you can do whatever you want with them," the man who appeared to be the leader said.
Hearing these people coveting his woman, Draco's eyes instantly turned cold; he didn't want to waste any more words with them.
Draco Stupefy, a thought forming in his mind.
"Thump, thump... A series of dull thuds rang out as the seven men instantly lost consciousness, their guns clattering to the ground as they collapsed one after another."
Only one remains.
He was a man wearing a navy blue crew-neck T-shirt with an ordinary jacket over it. He stood at the back of the group, not carrying a rifle, but only a pistol at his waist, looking out of place among the other fully armed mercenaries.
At this moment, the man was completely stunned. Seven fully armed, battle-hardened mercenaries had fallen so inexplicably? He hadn't even seen them make a move!
A wave of panic washed over the man, and he instinctively reached for the pistol tucked into his waistband with his right hand.
"Don't move." Just as his fingertips were about to touch the gun handle, Draco's voice froze him in place.
"Who... who are you people?" the man asked, raising his hands in a hoarse voice filled with fear.
"You don't need to know," Draco's voice was cold and forceful. "What you need to do is go find the captain immediately, then bring the ship's police officers and clean up this trash on the ground."
"Understood! Understood!" The man nodded hurriedly, afraid that if he was even a step too slow, he would become trash too. "I'll go right now!"
"Wait." Draco held out his hand, palm up.
The man paused for a moment, then understood. He quickly drew the pistol from his waist, offered it to Draco with both hands, Draco accepted the pistol.
"I'm not with them. I'm just a boatman who was kidnapped by them!" the man explained.
Why do you think I kept you here?
The man was stunned. Yes, if the other party could take down seven people in an instant, they could definitely take him down too. Was he spared because he was useful, or... did he not look like a core member? He dared not think too deeply about it, and simply lowered his head in even greater fear.
The man shuddered. His opponent had seen through everything from the beginning, distinguishing him from the mercenaries. He wasn't just lucky to be awake; the other party had deliberately shown mercy.
"What do you do?" Draco asked.
"I'm the owner of the speedboat." The man didn't dare to hide anything and confessed readily. "I'm a smuggler, I make a living this way. Someone paid me a high price to take this group of people to the vicinity of this cruise ship, and then they climbed aboard themselves."
"Where are they?" Draco asked, pointing to the people on the ground.
"I'm not entirely clear on their entire plan either, but... but there are torpedoes on board! They're planning to blow up this cruise ship!" The man finished speaking and pointed towards the lower deck of the cruise ship.
After nervously recounting all the details, the man cautiously observed the three women. To his surprise, Draco remained expressionless, and the two women showed no reaction whatsoever.
