Trillian patted her chest, let out a long sigh of relief, and said with lingering fear, "That scared me to death... When the Werewolf pounced on me, I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my throat."
Hermione was somewhat surprised and said...
"I never expected these new mutant Werewolf to have such outrageous resistance. Commonly used control and Sleeping Charm spells are almost ineffective, and ordinary magic can't do anything to them."
"Indeed, we haven't faced dark creatures like Werewolf or vampires head-on, so we lack experience and underestimated their resistance." Draco hadn't expected this either.
"It's alright... at least we found our target, which is good news, right?" Trillian was in a good mood. "But the bad news is, after the fight, the other side disappeared again."
"That's not necessarily true." Draco's lips curled into a smirk.
"Huh?!" Trillian was taken aback, looking at Draco with a puzzled expression. "What do you mean? Young master, you have another plan?"
Draco didn't answer, but simply waved his wand, and the Tracking Charm silently spread out, golden magic falling onto the wet ground.
The golden light meandered and spread along the ground, outlining several faintly glowing contours on the damp soil.
Hermione was drawn to several streaks of light. She crouched down and looked at them. Two pairs of wolf footprints and two pairs of human footprints appeared on the ground, extending in the direction they had left.
"Your reaction was incredibly quick. If it were me, I would have just chased after them, not thought of doing this," Hermione remarked softly.
Draco, receiving her admiring gaze, felt quite pleased. "Take your time, Miss Granger. Stay by your husband's side, observe, learn, and practice more, and your battlefield reflexes will gradually improve," he said, leaning closer to Hermione.
"If all else fails, Miss Granger, you can just stay in your position as minister, and I'll be your personal bodyguard, responsible for all the fighting and killing."
"Who asked you to be my bodyguard? You make it sound like I can't live without you. I'm capable enough, you know?" Hermione's cheeks flushed as she focused on studying the footprints on the ground, then she whispered, "But this position might be worth keeping for you."
Trillian, standing to the side, was completely bewildered. "What kind of riddles are you two playing? I can't understand a word you say!"
"You're Muggle, you don't have magical vision, so you couldn't see the Tracking spell I just cast," Draco explained.
"Magic? What magic?" Trillian's eyes widened.
" Tracking Charm." Draco gestured to the ground. "Their escape footprints are now clearly visible on the ground."
Following his pointing finger, Trillian frowned and examined the ground carefully for a long time. Aside from the watermarks left from the earlier battle and the rain, she couldn't discern anything. However, she understood that this fell under the category of magic, Muggle naturally couldn't detect it.
"So, no matter where they run, young master, you can use this spell to locate their position?"
"That's natural." Draco nodded. "As long as time hasn't passed and the traces haven't been deliberately erased, they can be found."
"No wonder you weren't in a hurry, young master! You had already prepared a backup plan!" Trillian suddenly realized.
Draco shook his head at Trillian's words, his tone becoming more serious. "There's no point in chasing after them."
"They already consider us enemies. If we rashly pursue them to their lair, we don't know how many Werewolf we'll face. Judging from the intensity of the last exchange, if a whole pack of Werewolf attacks us, we might not be able to escape unscathed."
"I see." Trillian said thoughtfully, then asked, "Then that woman and her companion... were vampires?"
Draco nodded and said, "That should be right. They were able to break free of their ropes and are fighting the Werewolf."
"Let's go back inside and talk about it."
The three returned to the villa, and once inside, Draco used Drying Charm to quickly dry their rain-soaked clothes.
Afterwards, Draco turned to Hermione and asked, "Honey, are you coming with us to track down the Werewolf later?"
"Yes, I'll go with you." Hermione nodded firmly.
"Can I go?" Trillian asked expectantly.
"Okay, you come too." Draco agreed.
It was too much to bear leaving Trillian alone in the villa.
"Young Master is the best!" Trillian smiled broadly.
Draco sat down on the sofa and beckoned to Hermione: "Honey, before we set off, to ensure your safety, I'll teleport you using Apparition. In case of any emergencies, at least you can take Trillian and escape the battlefield instantly."
"Even Apparition can be done through teleportation?!"
"Of course," Draco smiled confidently at her. "You don't trust your husband's abilities again."
"Young master! Young master! I want to learn magic too! Could you also turn me into a wizard? I want to learn magic!"
Draco chuckled at Trillian's impatient manner and shook his head, "Not for now. Gene transfer isn't something that can be solved, but there should be a way in the future."
"Ah... I see..." Trillian's voice turned incredibly dejected, but quickly, she pleaded again with renewed determination:
"Then you'd better improve your abilities quickly, young master!"
Draco chuckled and retorted, "Do you think you're a cabbage in a field? You can't just plant it whenever you want, or change it whenever you want?"
Trillian replied with a smile:
"Anyway, I believe you have the ability, young master!"
Hermione was already seated on the sofa, and Draco began to cast spells on her, his palm covering her head, a soft light flowing from his fingertips and slowly entering Hermione's mind.
Hermione closed her eyes, her brows twitching slightly. A flood of information and bodily memories rushed into her consciousness. Every step, every rotation, and every landing point of Apparition felt as if she had practiced it a thousand times.
Less than a minute later, Draco withdrew his hand.
Hermione slowly opened her eyes, a strange light gleaming in them. She marveled at the clear spatial coordinates and magical flow in her mind, exclaiming, "This is amazing... I feel like my mastery of Apparition has reached a level of perfection, as if I've used it for decades. I even understand those complex magical nodes perfectly!"
Draco, pleased with Hermione's reaction, turned to Trillian, who was obediently waiting nearby, and instructed her, "When we Apparition, stick close to Hermione. She's now mastered Apparition and will get you out of danger immediately. Don't panic."
"Don't worry, young master! I'll be quick-witted and obedient, and I promise I won't hold you and the young mistress back!" Trillian promised.
"Come on, honey, you try it out." After transferring the power, Draco immediately had Hermione try it out.
