"It's fine if you don't admit it," Kraven continued to press. "The humans have Selene's father's engineer's professional record, plus Tanis's testimony. You silenced Selene's entire family to maintain secrecy; can you still deny that?"

"All this talk just shows you have a motive," Viktor said, tapping the armrest of the throne without changing his expression. "You don't have sufficient evidence to prove I'm the murderer."

"Having this motive, and a strong one at that, is enough," Kraven said. "On the other hand, the Werewolf who took the blame for you had no motive to kill Selene's entire family."

"So that's enough proof that you're lying about everything."

Victor scoffed, "Beasts don't need a motive to kill! Besides, why wouldn't Werewolf have a motive to kill Selene's entire family? The Chamber of Secrets holds what the Werewolf want, and Selene's father knows all the secrets of the prison. That alone is enough to invite the werewolf's blade."

As he spoke, he leaned forward, a mocking expression on his face:

"Furthermore, you are a traitor to the vampire clan, colluding with Werewolf and exonerating Werewolf. How much objectivity is there in your story?"

Kraven remained unmoved and calmly retorted, "You say they're beasts with no motive? Then killing is enough for them. Why bother about what's inside the Chamber of Secrets?"

"Secondly, if the wolf clan cared about what was inside the Chamber of Secrets, they would never have killed the architect's entire family. Killing all those who knew would only have sealed the Chamber of Secrets away. This motive is completely untenable, Elder. Your fabricated reason is utterly untenable."

"To dismiss the wolf clan's actions based solely on conjecture?" Victor retorted, then declared loudly, "A raging beast, driven by fury, may not always weigh the pros and cons."

"A momentary act of revenge is enough to drive them to murder. To speculate about the Werewolf ' slaughter, Kraven, you're just nitpicking and using sophistry to distort the tragedy that has already occurred."

After reprimanding Kraven, Victor's gaze fell on Selene, his tone tinged with heartache:

"You're packaging sophistry as truth and then throwing the choice at her? Selene carries the weight of bloodshed and trauma, her mind already tormented by fragmented memories. This isn't the time to leave the judgment to her; you're exploiting her trauma, leading her toward destruction."

" Selene, think about it." Viktor's voice softened as he said to Selene, "For centuries, I have sheltered you, I have given you strength. Do not let conspiracies drag you into the abyss."

Selene, who had been silent all along, finally spoke:

" Victor, even now, are you still going to deny it? If this is all a false accusation, you can refute it openly. But you keep dodging the issue, only using the accusations of gratitude and treason to fob me off. It seems you really are the murderer of my entire family."

" Selene, you actually believe the nonsense he's spouting to you!" Victor abruptly rose from his high-backed gothic throne.

"These controversies will be proven true in time."

"Never mind all that, Kraven, you traitor, how dare you stand here and confront me! Take them all down!"

Kahn acknowledged the order and stepped forward, weapon in hand.

But he hesitated slightly, his gaze sweeping over Selene.

Still harboring doubts, he did not act immediately.

At the same time, a squad of twenty or thirty Death Dealers, having assembled, surged into the hall, their dark gun barrels all pointed at Draco and his group, instantly escalating the tension in the hall to its peak.

Trillian asked Kraven and his companion, "Where are your men? Your direct squad and guards... why didn't any of them enter the hall?"

Kraven wasn't surprised. He said, " Victor expected this. He never truly trusted Selene; our people should have been transferred or placed under house arrest long ago."

Hearing this, Selene became even more convinced.

Victor is the murderer who killed her entire family.

Only the real culprit would do something like this. If he has a clear conscience, why would he transfer her people beforehand? Why would he block all possible support for her? This clearly shows he has a guilty conscience.

"Can you tell me the truth now, Victor?"

"Does the truth still matter?" Viktor said indifferently.

"The truth is important, of course." Selene's voice suddenly rose. "My power and immortality are built on lies and the bloodshed of my entire family. If I avoid the truth, every time I swing my sword, every breath I take, I will be living in a deception woven by others."

"The dead cannot be brought back to life, but they should not be slandered, and their deaths should not be blamed on Werewolf."

"You don't care about justice, but I do."

"What's the use of you caring?" Victor dropped all pretense. "None of you will leave this hall today."

" Kraven framed the elder, and Selene was misled by a villain. Today, we will settle accounts with all traitors right here in this hall."

At his command, dozens of Death Dealers in the hall had their fingers on the triggers, all pointing at Draco and his group.

However, Draco and Hermione, who were already prepared, raised their wands at the same time, and two Disarming Charm were cast simultaneously.

The two's magic Cleansweep the entire council hall.

Clang, clang, a series of loud metallic clangs echoed beneath the dome. The silver bullet rifles and pistols in the hands of all the Death Dealers slipped from their grasp, flying and crashing to the ground, scattering the weapons everywhere.

The warriors inside the hall suddenly found their hands empty.

Kahn was caught in a dilemma, unsure of what to do.

At that moment, his whole body stiffened, and his pupils suddenly contracted.

When he first heard about magic, he dismissed it as absurd rumors, thinking it was nothing more than wishful thinking.

Later, when he accompanied Selene on a mission, he witnessed magic firsthand and had come to accept its existence. But now, with a single incantation, the enemy stripped all the warriors in the hall of their weapons. It wasn't a sneak attack; it was an instantaneous crushing of the entire scene.

A sense of astonishment and unease spread through the crowd.

For thousands of years, the vampires have relied on strength, claws, and silver spears, but they seem utterly vulnerable in the face of this power. The Death Dealers team was stunned, all looking at their empty hands.

These battle-hardened warriors, unafraid of Werewolf and close combat, had never encountered such a bizarre attack.

There were no sharp blades slashing, no gunfire roaring.

His weapon was simply taken from him out of thin air.

Many people bent down to pick up the guns on the ground.

But then he glanced warily at the wand in Draco's hand.

They didn't dare to rush forward rashly.

The ranks were in complete disarray. The previously tense battle formation collapsed, and some soldiers looked at each other blankly, their morale plummeting.

Some adopted close-quarters combat stances with their claws exposed, but without firearms, their confidence had greatly diminished.

Victor's face turned extremely grim.

After the initial shock, they quickly became vigilant.

His gaze locked onto the wands in Draco and Hermione's hands as he quickly weighed the pros and cons and considered his next course of action.

"... What kind of sinister power is this?"

Selene and Kraven were equally shocked; witnessing such overwhelming power firsthand still sent a shiver down their spines.
