"Can't you be serious for once!" Hermione pushed him away, and all the gratitude she felt vanished.
"I'm being very serious," Draco said innocently. "I was just explaining human anatomy to Miss Granger, purely academic. Aren't you the most meticulous person around?"
Hermione was so angry her teeth were chattering.
"Who wants to listen to your... vulgar explanations!"
"Whether it's vulgar or not depends on the person. What I told my wife was called 'preparing for the next lesson.'"
"... If you dare utter another word, you'll be sleeping in the hallway tonight." Hermione's threat had an immediate effect, and Draco became obedient.
Seeing that Draco had quieted down and stopped talking, Hermione snorted, unwilling to let him bring up the embarrassing topic. "I'm not going to fool around with you. Hurry up and get that bathroom ready so I can see it."
Draco seized the opportunity to bargain, speaking softly, "After you get the bathroom ready, could I make a small request?"
It's this kind of thing again--
"It's that same old trick again," Hermione thought, narrowing her eyes warily.
What conditions do you want to set this time?
Draco sighed dramatically, then rubbed his back and said, "Haven't washed my back in ages... it's a little itchy..."
So, shall we shower together tonight?
He looked at Hermione expectantly.
Hermione blushed even more, knowing this guy was still up to no good. She decisively refused, "Forget about it. I'm not showering with you, but I can scrub your back."
Draco was delighted; what difference was there between scrubbing his back and showering together? But he still pressed his advantage, asking, "Is it the kind where we're completely naked?"
Hermione lightly punched his arm:
"Get out of here, hurry up and get the bathroom ready!"
Draco chuckled and said no more. He exchanged a small solidified magic artifact from the System Shop and took it out of his spatial storage. It was about the size of a palm, a stone anchor with fine runes engraved on its surface, emitting a faint blue light.
Draco placed it in the corner of the living room.
Hermione looked at the unremarkable stone and felt like she'd been tricked. "Don't tell me this stone is the bathroom?"
Draco found Hermione's doubtful expression amusing, so he teased her with a laugh, "Doesn't it look like it?"
Hermione clenched her fist to signal him:
"Playing with me comes at a price."
"Honey, why are you always in such a hurry?" Draco blocked her fist and guided her, "Try using your mind."
"That's because you're good at keeping people in suspense..." Hermione said irritably. As she spoke, she focused her attention on the stone anchor point and activated it with her mind. A portal of light appeared out of thin air in front of her. The portal frame shone with a soft white light, and the interior was like a flowing water curtain, with a glimpse of the space on the other side.
"Do we have to go through this door?" Hermione asked, looking surprised.
"Yes." Draco nodded.
The two passed through the portal of light, and the scene before them suddenly opened up.
The interior was spacious and bright, with a bathtub, sink, shower, and all necessary toiletries.
The most eye-catching thing is the large bathtub against the wall.
The interior is spacious enough for two people to lie down side by side.
Hermione looked around, her gaze settling on the large bathtub, somewhat puzzled. "You seem to have a particular fondness for bathtubs?"
Hermione asked this because the times are changing rapidly and the pace of life is fast. Most England people prefer shower heads to quickly wash their bodies.
Draco looked at the large bathtub with satisfaction, then leaned close to Hermione's ear and explained, "This isn't about fantasizing about one day being able to soak in it with Miss Granger. You sit in the front, I'll sit..."
Hermione's face flushed instantly upon hearing this, and she cursed, "You pervert!" She couldn't bear to think about that scene.
All I could do was continue scolding, "What on earth are you thinking...? Who wants to be like that with you... and you're not allowed to let your imagination run wild!"
"It will happen someday anyway..."
"We'll talk about that later! You'd better shut up now." Hermione quickly changed the subject. "Is it the same if I just leave?"
Draco nodded. "Yes, just a thought is enough."
Hermione's mind stirred again, and the portal reappeared.
She came out of the bathroom first, and Draco followed her out.
After emerging, Hermione gazed at the stone anchor that lay there quietly and exclaimed, "Your Treasure Chest is amazing!"
"Otherwise, how could it be called Treasure Chest?" Draco said, walking towards the bedroom, explaining to Hermione as he went, "The bed is too small, not enough for us. I'll go get a bigger one."
Hermione knew he was just making excuses to rest again, but she didn't mind and casually said, "Go ahead, I'll sit here and read a book for a while."
Draco entered the bedroom and thought it was too small. A single bed, a desk, a large bookcase, and a lockable cabinet filled the entire room to the brim.
So Draco both hands to manipulate the bed and table in mid-air, preparing to move them to another bedroom. With one hand longer than the other, he moved the bed and table out the door, one in front of the other.
Upon exiting the room, I found Hermione at the desk in the living room reading... something, I couldn't tell what, it looked like a booklet.
Seeing that Draco had brought out the bed and desk, Hermione looked up and asked, "Why did you bring all this out?"
"I'm getting ready to move to a bigger bed so I can solidify my Wandless Magic. Honey, do you want to try it too?"
Hermione thought Draco's words made sense and were quite amusing, so she put down the booklet she was holding and walked over:
"Okay, I'll give it a try."
"Caught you, honey." Draco tossed the desk to her, Hermione quickly manipulated it to levitate in the air, slightly annoyed at him. "Don't mess around, what if you damage anything here?"
Draco, utterly exasperated, asked again:
"Honey, have you forgotten something?"
Hermione paused, startled. "Forgot what?"
Draco chuckled and said leisurely, "Wife, you've forgotten again. We have Mending Charm; if it breaks, we can just fix it."
Hermione was also annoyed. "Yeah, how could I forget again?"
However, she then shifted the blame to Draco, saying, "It's all your fault! You did everything, I didn't have to do anything..."
Draco shrugged and said:
"Isn't this something Miss Granger should do herself? We can't let Miss Granger become a useless person..."
"That's no trouble for Mr. Malfoy," Hermione retorted, pouting. "I'm not going to become useless. It's just that you've been taking care of me for so long that I've gotten a little lax sometimes."
So, who should be accused of being lazy from now on?
"Don't try to twist the truth. Occasional slacking off doesn't equal laziness. If we're talking about laziness, you're the one who has more to say."
Seeing that Draco was about to argue, Hermione interrupted him directly:
"Get to work quickly."
"Okay--" Draco replied with a smile.
The two of them moved the bed and desk into another bedroom, one after the other. Draco lowered the bed to align with the one in this bedroom, and Hermione placed the desk next to the one in this room.
