Three cruisers, a dozen or so frigates, plus dozens of other ships—the scale was frighteningly large.
Most people would feel threatened if they saw this.
But the Mekboy Karch saw not only danger, but also opportunity.
"Good heavens!" it muttered to itself, its eyes fixed on the wasteland-themed data tablet in its hand.
"So many huge shrimp..."
The surrounding Orks began to stir.
Some of the boys wanted to retreat and go back to report, but they were afraid and said they couldn't win.
Some of the boys felt an irresistible urge to rush up and fight.
Regardless of whether we can win or not, let's fight first.
"What do you mean 'retreat'?!" Karch slapped the kid on the head, making him spin around in place.
" Chandler made us hold this position for so long, and now we're just leaving? How are we going to explain this back home?"
"But, but boss, there are too many of them, big and numerous!"
Karch stared intently at the dots of light on the screen, his eyes darting around.
It's a Mekboy, unlike ordinary kids; it uses its brain.
It realized that although the fleet was powerful, it had not launched an attack on them.
This indicates that they haven't yet discovered their own troops.
The enemy was in the open while it was in the shadows, so it decided to wait a while longer to see if the other side would reveal a weakness.
Before long, the opportunity arrived!
The shrimp's fleet split up on its own.
The two largest ships, along with half of the escort ships, moved forward.
The largest remaining ship, along with the other half, remained stationary, as if waiting for something.
Karch quickly realized this was a golden opportunity.
Through a rough speed calculation, it deduced that the two advancing fleets were more than 10,000 meters away from the main force behind them.
This distance is nothing in space.
"Chance!"
"It's coming soon." A crazed glint flashed in Karch's eyes.
It suppressed the restlessness of its subordinates, forcing them to remain hidden.
Wait, wait a little longer.
Time passed by, second by second.
The two ships that went ahead sailed further and further away, exceeding 30,000 meters from the original fleet, and had already left the asteroid belt.
The large ship behind remained stationary, like an unsuspecting prey.
Karch licked his lips.
"Now! Charge!" it roared excitedly.
With its roar, the lifeless meteorite came to life.
As if they had eyes, they crashed one by one into the remaining fleet.
The meteorite attack crippled a destroyer and depleted some of the Rule of Discipline's shield energy.
But it's not over yet.
Following the moving meteor shower was Karch's meticulously prepared ambush force.
One hundred and twenty-one Brute Ram Ship.
Like a school of sharks drawn by the scent of blood, they burst forth from the asteroid belt, heading straight for the Rule of Discipline.
Each ramming boat was crammed with a few crazed Ork Boyz, laughing and howling, ready to trade their lives for the life of a human ship.
Karch was also sitting in the cockpit of one of the ramming boats, personally taking the helm.
Its heart was pounding, and its expression was full of excitement.
The meteorites succeeded; they wrecked a destroyer and even struck the shields of the large ship.
What does this tell us?
This means there's potential; they can fight!
"Charge!" it roared. "Whoever is the first to board that big ship, I'll make him second-in-command!"
The ramming boats charged at full speed.
The anti-aircraft fire of the Rule of Discipline was unleashed in a frenzy.
The defensive turrets spun wildly, firing thousands of shells every second.
One after another, the ramming boats exploded into fireballs, their wreckage scattering across the starry sky.
The Ork Boyz's screams and maniacal laughter mingled together, creating a cacophony on the communication channel.
But the remaining airships ignored the tragic state of their comrades ahead and continued their charge.
It got even faster and crazier!
The three ramming boats simultaneously broke through the barrage of fire and crashed into the right flank shield of the Rule of Discipline.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Three fireballs exploded on the shield's surface, then were swallowed by the blue light, causing the energy storage to drop by more than ten percentage points in one go.
The entire warship was trembling, and the lights on the bridge began to flicker.
Luna's face turned ashen.
" The Void Shield's energy storage is at 52 percent." A priest reported, a hint of tension audible in his cold, mechanical voice.
Karch was laughing hysterically inside the ramming boat.
" Gork and Mork protect us! A few more rammings and that ship is doomed!"
What it didn't know was that within the Rule of Discipline, some people had already reached their breaking point.
"Activate 'Secret Weapon' No. 3!"
Luna's angry voice rang out from the bridge.
Her pupils burned with blue flames, filled with anger, murderous intent, and a long-suppressed madness.
Her adjutant hesitated.
"My lord, are we really going to use the 'secret weapon'?"
"Secret Weapons" are Dark Age weapons collected by the Adeptus Mechanicus; each one used reduces the remaining supply, and their use is strictly prohibited by the Imperium.
"There's no one else here!" Luna interrupted him.
" The Void Shield is only at 52%! Do you know how much energy it takes to recharge it?"
"Most importantly, if the shield generator is damaged, how long will it take us to repair it?"
The adjutant was speechless, choked by Luna's words.
Luna continued, "Besides, the mobile ship we brought can't fix it."
"At that point, we'll have no choice but to retreat and go back for repairs. Can you afford to compensate for the lost aircraft?!"
The adjutant nodded hastily, realizing the seriousness of the situation. "I understand, sir!"
He immediately contacted the weapons department personally and issued the order.
The torpedo compartment of the Rule of Discipline opened.
Two jet-black torpedoes were launched into battle.
They are unlike any conventional weapon.
There were no flames from the thrusters, no signals from the guidance system, and not even any detectable energy fluctuations.
They simply moved quickly toward their target, like two inconspicuous pieces of space debris.
Shadow Vortex Torpedo.
Dark Age weapons in the collection of the Brevis branch of the Adeptus Mechanicus.
Their principle is to create a miniature vortex leading to Warp in the target area.
Anything caught up in it will be attracted, devoured, and forever vanished in that dimension filled with demons and madness.
The last batch of ramming boats was charging, including Karch himself.
It certainly recognized the terrifying power of the shield formed by the Rule of Discipline.
Just like the big boss, the big-appetite Ragnar, whose appetite can never be filled.
But it didn't care about anything else; it charged forward first, and whether it survived Gork and Mork would protect it.
The final assault, forty ramming boats, advanced at full speed.
The wildness and madness of the Ork Boyz can be felt even through a vacuum.
When they were halfway there, two pitch-black objects exploded between them.
There were no flames or shockwaves, only two enormous, pitch-black vortexes unfolding in the starry sky.
They spin, devour, and tear everything around them apart.
The ramming boats were as if bound by invisible chains, one after another, being sucked into the bottomless darkness.
The Ork Boyz ' howls turned into screams, and the screams turned into silence.
Karch's ramming boat was among them.
As it watched the darkness draw ever closer, the greed on its face turned to fear.
It tried to escape, but it was too late.
"No!!!"
The vortex mercilessly swallowed it up.
Its ambitions, its dreams, and all its possessions vanished into endless darkness.
