In Brevis, between the ice plains and the habitable plains, lies a magnificent barrier known as the " Frostbound Wall."

Five hundred standard years ago, in order to defend against the unknown Xenos invasion that nearly destroyed Brevis.

The then -Planetary Governor mobilized the entire world and used incalculable resources.

This massive defensive fortification, stretching for thousands of kilometers, was built.

The foundation extends hundreds of meters into the frozen soil, and the main body is composed of reinforced concrete, an alloy frame, and solid ice.

The walls average over 100 meters in height, and the top is wide enough for two Leman Russ Russ vehicles to travel side by side.

The bullet holes covering the walls tell a story of the long years that have passed.

It was designed as an insurmountable defensive line, a restrictive wall that completely separated the deadly ice plains from human territory.

Five hundred years later, this ancient wall once again protects the remaining human world from new and more ferocious enemies.

Beyond the wall stretched an endless, snow-covered ice field.

The gale howled endlessly, whipping up snow and ice, and visibility often dropped to less than 100 meters.

Temperatures that remain below -50 degrees Celsius for extended periods can be fatal to unprotected humans within minutes.

But at this moment, a green wave surges across the ice field.

Orks, the most tenacious and warlike race in the galaxy.

They emerge from the foul-smelling fungal caves deep within the ice field.

Like an endless, noisy, roaring green ocean.

The battle cry of "Waaaagh!" echoed throughout.

The first line of defense of the Frostbound Wall is the 31st Astra Militarum of the Calixis Sector, the " Bront Longknives ".

They are also the only reinforcements to have arrived in Brevis so far.

This is a force from the perpetually snow-covered planet Morwen.

The Morwen are naturally adapted to cold environments, and they excel at fighting in harsh conditions such as low temperatures, lack of oxygen, and complex terrain.

A month ago, 50,000 full-strength Bront Longknives arrived in Brevis, ordered to provide reinforcements.

Now, after several weeks of fierce attrition warfare, only slightly more than 20,000 troops remain.

Ammunition reserves are also running low, but supplies from Brevis itself are pitifully scarce.

Military support was also scarce, except for a small number of Planetary Defense Force forces.

They only received limited intelligence and guerrilla support from some mutant tribes on the ice plains.

Inside a reinforced observation post atop the wall.

Commissar Marcus put down his binoculars.

He was a typical Morwen, with white frost on his gray beard and hair, and blue eyes as calm as a lake on an iceberg.

Only those who know him well know that beneath this calm lies an iron will and boundless loyalty to the Emperor.

An urgent alarm came through the communicator from the forward observation post. "The main force of the Orks is assembling in sections C7 and C8!"

There are too many of them; it must be a large war gang, and they also have a lot of vehicles!

Marcus didn't waste any words and picked up the communicator.

"Attention all units, prepare for combat." The order was concise and clear.

On the wall, the Bront Longknives, dressed in heavy blue military uniforms, moved swiftly.

The gunner cranked the handle, aiming the anti-wall gun at a moving green dot on the distant snowfield.

The soldiers poured fire on the enemy from the wall, their breath freezing into frost in the air.

Outside the wall, the clamor of the Orks commotion grew ever closer.

The boys pushed and shoved each other, fighting, while the Mekboy boys pounded on their cobbled-together vehicles, creating a jarring noise.

Several enormous Squig were driven to the front lines, their backs laden with exaggerated rocket launchers or multi-barreled cannons.

There were no supply lines visible behind them; all the Orks had only one duty: to charge!

Suddenly, a series of explosions rang out beneath the Frostbound Wall.

Near the base of section C8 of the Frostbound Wall, the thick wall suddenly bulged outward and deformed.

With a deafening roar and a shower of rubble and ice, a massive hole, over twenty meters in diameter, appeared in the barrier wall.

"Damn it! They've brought a specially made explosive Squig right up to the base of the wall!"

The experienced veteran immediately understood.

The moment the hole appeared, the Orks ' battle cry reached its peak.

"Waaaaagh!!!"

The scrap metal tank charged ahead of the others towards the breach!

These tanks, pieced together from scrap metal, somehow managed to charge up the nearly vertical cliff.

Following closely behind were countless Ork Boyz.

They howled, brandishing machetes and crude firearms.

They are savage, ferocious, and their eyes burn with nothing but a thirst for battle.

Surrounded by the boys, a tall figure appeared at the hole.

It is nearly half again as tall as the other Orks, clad in "heavy armor," and wields a massive power machete in its right hand.

On the left is a huge, pitch-black cannon barrel.

" Broken Tooth," the Orks warlord, is the leader of the Orks Warboss in this war zone.

"Fire! Stop them!" The roars of officers at all levels echoed along the defensive line.

Heavy artillery roared, blasting the charging Ork Boyz and scrap tanks into pieces.

Laser beams and explosive bombs rained down like dense raindrops, sweeping away large swathes of Orks.

The ambushing bombs were detonated, sending up sprays of blood amidst the Orks tide.

The Orks soldiers' initial charge was momentarily halted.

But there were too many of them, and they knew nothing of fear.

What's more troublesome is that as more and more Orks pour out of the hole, the battle line is constantly being stretched out.

The Bront Longknives's firepower began to prove insufficient.

Ammunition is being consumed rapidly.

Commissar Marcus stood calmly observing the battle situation.

He knew that once the Orks fully deployed and broke through the breach area, the defensive line would likely collapse.

As the defensive line teetered on the brink of collapse, the Orks soldiers' "Waaagh" grew louder and louder.

He knew it was time.

Someone has to fill the gaps to create space for other units to attack.

Commissar Marcus's voice, carried clearly through the howling wind and explosions, reached the ears of every soldier at the forefront of the breach.

"Soldiers, look at these green beasts before you!"

Their existence is the most vile blasphemy against Emperor of Mankind!

They trampled the Imperium's world and slaughtered the Emperor's people!

His voice rose, filled with power and conviction:

"But the Emperor is watching us, right now, right here on this icy plain!"

Our courage, our sacrifice, every charge we make is our most loyal response to Him!

He drew his poorly maintained Power Sword; a blue disintegration field pulsed across the blade, illuminating his resolute face and azure eyes.

"For the Emperor, charge!!!"

He raised his Power Sword high, the tip pointing directly at the moving Warboss, Broken Tooth.

As soon as he finished speaking, Commissar Marcus was the first to leap out of the bunker and rush towards the green wave.

"For the Emperor!!!" A deafening roar echoed from the breached defenses.

The Bront Longknives, firing from behind cover, raised their bayonets and gripped their entrenching tools.

Following that blue figure, they launched a resolute charge!

This scene was tragic and awe-inspiring.

Human soldiers in blue uniforms are like moths drawn to flames.

They charged headlong into the overwhelming Orks tide that far outnumbered their own forces.

The Ork Boyz is larger and stronger.

Crude weapons could easily tear human soldiers apart.

But the Bront Longknives displayed astonishing willpower.

The enormous casualties did not tempt them to retreat in the slightest.

Their charge created valuable firing space for other firing positions.

The Orks army was firmly pinned down inside the breach.

Commissar Marcus, like the tip of a long knife, marched forward relentlessly.

Every swing of his Power Sword was accompanied by blue arcs of electricity and splattering Orks and blood.

He broke through the boys' obstruction and got closer and closer to the Warboss, Broken Tooth.

Broken Tooth noticed this Xiaobudian who dared to charge at him.

It roared, and the massive muzzle of its left cannon was aimed at Marcus.

Terrifying flames erupted from the cannon's muzzle, instantly engulfing Commissar Marcus, who had no time to dodge!
