The wind was gentle, the sun bright, and not a cloud stretched across the sky for ten thousand miles.
Brilliant sunlight poured over the boundless sea. As the waves rolled and churned, every spray of foam seemed to shimmer with specks of golden light.
Now and then, herds of low-tier Dragon Whales migrated along the currents, occasionally lifting their backs above the surface and spouting towering columns of water.

The dazzling light passing through the distorted space created a prism effect, refracting into halos of every color, brilliant and mottled like rainbows.
Within that glow, two magnificent crimson birds suddenly emerged from the void, pulling a Flying Carriage that appeared to have been carved from white jade. Beating their wings, they appeared above the sea.
Terrifying pressure spread with their arrival, instantly blanketing half the sky.
As their wings swept through the air, crimson firelight rippled outward. Even the surrounding air warped from the heat, while waves of white mist steamed from the sea below. From afar, clouds and rosy vapors billowed together in a scene of breathtaking grandeur.
Clearly, these two magnificent birds were rare imperial-grade spirit birds.
Looking closer, their plumage was both as splendid as blazing fire, though their appearances differed slightly.
One had a phoenix crown atop its head, fiery as blood. Its long tail feathers streamed behind it like feather fans; from afar, they resembled streaks of flowing flame cutting through the sky, gorgeous and flamboyant.
