Along with that crushing pressure came a deep roar, domineering and majestic as thunder from the Ninth Heaven, making hearts tremble and blood surge.
Amid the roar, a violent wind suddenly rose within the ancient forest.
Layer upon layer of treetops swayed in the gale with rustling sounds. Dense layers of white mist surged from the depths of the forest, filling everyone's vision in what seemed like an instant.
The already dim ancient forest immediately became so dark that one could not see one's hand before one's face.
Yet the Primordial Dao Lord and the others were completely unaffected. Almost at once, they sensed something and collectively turned their gazes toward a spot within the mist.
Under everyone's watchful eyes, an enormous tiger-shaped outline broke through the thick fog and appeared before them.

Its pace did not appear fast, yet each step carried an overwhelming sense of oppression. One step, then another, then another...
Its sturdy muscles pulsed rhythmically with its strides. As it drew closer step by step, the pressure permeating the air grew heavier and more terrifying, until even the clash of iron horses and weapons seemed to echo through the air.
It was clearly trying to use its pressure to completely suppress the intruders.
There was even a faint note of excitement in its roar.
This forbidden land of life lay within the Endless Heavenly Abyss, and intruders rarely managed to reach it. Whenever such a situation arose, it meant an extra meal for it.
"This is... an eighteenth-rank white tiger
