Clan Leader has a large cast and a complex structure. Especially now that it has reached the middle stage, it inevitably demands a great deal of mental energy and effort. Lao Ao had to conceive and deliberate over every plot segment before slowly sketching it out and writing it down. The process was arduous, but the overall results have been quite good—especially over the past month, when the follow-up subscription numbers have climbed steadily.
Clan Leader is a book that needs to be written over the long term. After fifteen months of writing, it is not even halfway finished yet. There is still a long, long road ahead. What Lao Ao needs to do is make the plot more and more exciting, the worldbuilding more and more complete, and absolutely not let it fall apart.
Lao Ao chose to take Sundays off. On the one hand, he had to spend time with his family, and Lao Ao himself also needed his family's company. On the other hand, it would keep his mind from being wound too tight. Proper rest would let him go farther.
Monday through Saturday are workdays. If Lao Ao took leave or posted fewer chapters, he would make them up. But if you want him to make up the chapters from his Sunday rest day, then he might as well not rest at all...
Brothers and sisters, please be understanding. No matter what kind of work you do, proper rest and a life of your own are necessary.
