At around 3 a. m., a luxury cruise ship was slowly moving from west to east in the India Ocean.
This resort cruise ship boasts a vibrant nightlife, with nightclubs, bars, casinos, and karaoke rooms galore!
But no matter how vibrant the nightlife is, by this time the vast majority of tourists have already fallen asleep.
Inside the watch room on the bridge, a group of terrorists of unknown origin had taken over.
Several staff members on duty had been tightly bound together and placed on the ground, except for the ship's first mate.
He was being held at gunpoint by one of the terrorists.
"Relax, we don't have much of an interest in this ship. As long as you don't do anything that would cause us to misunderstand, I guarantee you'll survive until you disembark safely. Understand?"
The terrorists threatened the first mate and opened several valves below the cabin, where two fairly large double-decker yachts were moored. These yachts served as escape boats and were also available for rent to tourists who wanted to go out alone for a while.
After confirming that the valves below were open, the terrorist with the gun knocked the first mate unconscious with a single blow and led his men down into the cabin.
Outside a window on the bridge, the Captain, now in uniform, quietly disappeared into the darkness, holding a shield coated with a special light-absorbing material.
The Captain sent a message to Peggy, asking her to go and wake up the unfortunate first mate. He beat the terrorists to it and hid in the engine room of the lifeboat below the cabin.
Ever since the news of Hydra broke, the Captain has felt like he had a stone stuck in his throat, and he couldn't stop until it was removed.
The terrorists' target was S.H.I.E.L.D..'s ship, and he was eager to see what their true purpose was.
Whether or not they are Hydra agents is the reason why the Captain hasn't made a move yet.
The yacht sailed on the sea for about two hours. As dawn approached, the Captain felt the engine speed gradually decrease.
Although the engine noise slowed down, the noisy roar of the machine still made it impossible for the Captain to hear what was happening outside.
Not daring to go out easily, the Captain waited until more than ten minutes had passed and there was still no movement outside before finally opening the door and going out.
The yacht was completely empty. Another yacht was moored just over ten meters away, also completely empty. After checking various parts of the cabin, it was discovered that the inflatable life rafts were gone.
About a hundred meters directly in front of the yacht, a large cruise ship was quietly anchored on the sea.
You can hear bursts of gunfire coming from that direction.
Without hesitation, the Captain plunged straight into the sea.
When I swam to the side, I noticed that the ship was marked with the Lemurian Star " and the logo of S.H.I.E.L.D..
It seems this is their target, but who would dare to hijack a S.H.I.E.L.D.. ship?
With these questions in mind, the Captain quietly crept up from one of the decks.
Several terrorists with rifles were patrolling back and forth outside.
The gunfire has ceased; it seems they have hijacked the ship. I wonder if all the S.H.I.E.L.D.. agents have been killed.
The other side might be holding hostages. The Captain was alone and didn't dare to make any rash moves. Instead, he quietly avoided the patrolling terrorists and headed towards the cabin.
The bridge has been occupied by terrorists, but for some reason, they haven't started the ship yet.
The most urgent task right now is to find out where the hostages are.
The Captain took out a pair of glasses from the side pocket of his arm and put them on.
I clicked twice on the temple of the glasses.
The glasses' scanning system activated, displaying thermal images of the interior directly onto the lenses of the glasses through the ship's cabin.
It's immediately clear how many people are in each room.
In a room that appeared to be a kitchen, located behind the restaurant.
The Captain could clearly see about twenty people sitting in a circle on the ground, with four people walking back and forth around them.
Needless to say, this must be where the hostages are being held.
After marveling at how useful Stark's equipment was, the Captain took out a small button-like object and launched it directly to the outside of the small room where the hostages were being held.
I'm going to the restroom!
After eavesdropping on several minutes of nonsense, one of the terrorists finally prepared to come out.
Unfortunately, just as he closed the door and stepped out, he was met with a shield.
There are still three people inside. If just one more comes out, the Captain is confident that he can take down the two terrorists without harming the hostages.
After waiting quietly for a few minutes, sure enough, seeing that the person outside still hadn't returned, people inside couldn't sit still any longer.
"You, go see why Virginia hasn't come back yet. That bastard, she always has so much work to do!"
Another one came out and was immediately taken down by the Captain.
Now there were only two people left inside, and the Captain pushed the door open and went in without hesitation.
"How could you...?"
The terrorist at the door had barely opened his mouth when he suddenly realized something was wrong. He tried to raise his gun, but his head was grabbed and slammed against the wall.
Across the long kitchen counter, before the other terrorist could react, the Captain swung a shield at him.
With a "bang!", the terrorists inside fell to the ground.
" Captain Rogers, what are you doing here?"
The speaker was a bald hostage, whom the Captain recognized as Agent Sitwell, one of S.H.I.E.L.D..'s top agents.
"It really is a S.H.I.E.L.D.. ship. These guys were discussing hijacking a ship on a cruise ship, and I happened to overhear their plan, so I followed them."
After giving a brief explanation, the Captain untied the ropes binding each person and then went out to retrieve the weapons from the two men he had just knocked unconscious.
"A few of you who are skilled, grab your weapons and follow me. Take down a few more patrolmen, and bring plenty of weapons. Make sure you stay safe. I'm going to clear out the terrorists on the ship."
Sitwell was clearly the leader here. He assigned tasks: two men with rifles followed the Captain, while the rest found a relatively safe place to hide.
Everyone else was sent out, Sitwell and another agent stayed behind.
" Project Insight cannot afford to fail. Let's grab our weapons and head to the satellite launch site first."
Sitwell examined the weapon in his hand and said.
Another agent nodded, then suddenly smiled and said...
"These guys are really unlucky. They hijacked a S.H.I.E.L.D.. ship and ran into Captain America. But even without Captain America, they were doomed. They've offended both S.H.I.E.L.D.. and Hydra..."
"Hey!"
He was interrupted halfway through his sentence by Agent Sitwell.
"Be careful, Captain America is still on the ship. We can't afford any mistakes now, understand?"
On the other side, Captain America, who was leading two men to assault the bridge, had a drastic change in expression!
