San Francisco, a city that may not seem very important in the Marvel Universe, is actually the most important financial center on the West Coast of the United States and the city where Silicon Valley is located, where a large number of United States high-tech companies have settled.
If you're a regular viewer of TVB dramas, you'll notice that the name of an United States city appears frequently in these series: San Francisco San Francisco.
But many people don't know that Ant-Man's story takes place in this very place within the Marvel Universe.
In the comics, Dr. Pym is a scientist on par with Tony Stark; the main villain Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron: Age of Ultron was his creation.
However, in the movie, his main role is that of the inventor of Pym Particles, the first Ant-Man, and most importantly, he introduces the existence of the Quantum Realm Quantum Realm, which is what Qin Xiao came here for.
The Quantum Realm contains entities that transcend time and space and violate the laws of cosmic physics.
However, after Qin Xiao mastered all the Infinity Stones, Qin Xiao felt that the most important attribute of the Quantum Realm was that it connected all the parallel universes in the Source Universe.
Although Qin Xiao forcibly severed the connection with parallel universes after mastering one, it was still a universe split off from a source universe, and he could still travel to other universes through the Quantum Realm.
This was also Qin Xiao's purpose in coming here: to take control of the Quantum Realm and have Tony improve and invent a GPS locator that operates within the Quantum Realm.
In the movie Avengers: Endgame, they call it time travel. In reality, through precise positioning within the Quantum Realm, it is possible to pinpoint different parallel universes, different locations, and different time periods.
In fact, Qin Xiao currently possesses all the knowledge within the rules of the universe in his mind. However, most of Qin Xiao's spirit or soul is busy processing the increasingly powerful force within his body. In other words, Qin Xiao has only initially merged with the Infinity Stones, and it will take some time before he can fully digest them and make them his own.
The knowledge that Qin Xiao imparted to Tony and Dr. Banner was the same; although it was in their minds, they still needed to search and consult it themselves. It could be understood that Qin Xiao had installed a library in their minds.
But Dr. Pym is different. He has been studying the Quantum Realm for many years in order to rescue his wife. Many of his theoretical knowledge has been put into practice and tested many times, so he can use it directly.
To save time, and mainly to see what abilities Dr. Pym's Wasp, had gained in the Quantum Realm —even with Qin Xiao's current abilities, he couldn't glimpse the things in the Quantum Realm.
So Qin Xiao went directly to Dr. Pym and explained his purpose.
As anyone who's seen the movie knows, Dr. Pym is a stubborn old man, especially with deep-seated prejudices against the Stark family. But if you promise to rescue his wife, everything will be fine.
Moreover, Qin Xiao personally intervened and dealt with Dr. Pym's apprentice, Darren Klaue, the main villain in Ant-Man.
New York, Avengers Sky Base, Tony Stark, Banner, and Dr. Pym and his daughter are all gathered together.
"Are you ready, everyone? This should be the first time in this universe and in this spacetime that humanity has relied on technological means to explore the Quantum Realm."
JARVIS's voice echoed in the huge room.
This is a room specifically designed to open a tunnel into the Quantum Realm. Over time, some of the top scientists on Earth in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have collaborated to conceive and build a computer and artificial intelligence program with unparalleled computing power.
While it's described as a "creation," it's more accurately described as an "upgrade," since its core still uses JARVIS's coding and programming.
In short, relying on their god-like computing power, the group quickly set up the tunnel to the Quantum Realm and the location device.
Aside from the rivalry between Tony and Dr. Pym, which escalated into a major conflict over their appearances, the rest of the group worked together quite well.
Ultimately, the Quantum Tunnel is neither the vertical tunnel invented by Dr. Pym in the movie, nor the ground passage that Tony finally built, but rather the shape of a simple door the size of a normal room.
Upon hearing JARVIS's voice, Qin Xiao, who was the first test subject, had a thought and a set of white Quantum Realm -specific nano-protective suits appeared on his body, with even a helmet with a breathing device on his head.
It wasn't that Qin Xiao was cowardly; it was simply that his power came from the Infinity Stones, the very source of the universe. In places outside the universe, the Infinity Stones might not be able to function, so Qin Xiao couldn't help but be cautious.
After getting dressed, he nodded casually.
JARVIS started a ten-second countdown.
"Qin, if there are any problems, just initiate the return journey. As long as you are in our real universe, we still have a chance. Don't push yourself too hard. There's a saying in China: 'As long as you keep the mountains, you won't lack trees for firewood,' right?"
Tony looked at Qin Xiao with some concern.
Qin Xiao nodded silently and gave everyone a thumbs up.
"3...2...1! Start!"
As JARVIS uttered the word "Activate," Qin Xiao's figure suddenly blurred, then transformed into a stream of light and entered the energy gate before him, which was flashing with strange colors.
