The moment the dagger was drawn, Yabbat was launched into the air.
There was no probing, no hesitation.
Her white hair left a trail of afterimages behind her, and dark red energy enveloped the Blade. Her body skimmed across the rubble and ruins, her trajectory extremely unpredictable—first left, then right, changing direction three times in succession, before the final strike aimed straight at the Dark Supreme's face.
It's very fast.
Just as Beta Ray Beta, the Beta Ray Bill god, looked up, the dagger was less than three inches in front of Strange's nose.
But Doctor Strange Supreme didn't even back down.
A hand casually swept across the front.
Fragments of the Mirror Dimension materialized out of thin air, forming a semi-transparent prism barrier between the two.
Yabbat's dagger struck the wall with a piercing metallic scraping sound, the tip sinking about a centimeter into it.
That's all.
Yabbat's pupils contracted slightly.
She infused this strike with at least 70% of the Cosmic Energy, enough to cleave through most dimensional barriers.
But the mirrored fragment remained completely still, without even a crack appearing.
No, this is not a regular Mirror Dimension.
Before the thought could even finish, the Cloak moved.
The tattered dark purple Cloak exploded from the inside, and countless black tentacles surged out at the same moment.
Not just one or two, but dozens.
Each one is as thick as an adult's arm, covered in a sticky, dark liquid, and forked into three lobes at the end with barbs.
Yabbat's reaction was quick enough.
The dagger retracted, the body leaned back, and dark red energy exploded on the skin, forming a shield.
However, the gap remains significant.
The first tentacle wrapped around her right wrist, the second locked her left ankle, and the third, fourth, fifth... In less than half a second, her limbs were completely bound, and she was suspended in mid-air, unable to move.
Yabbat gritted her teeth and exerted her strength.
Runes lit up on her skin, and dark red energy burned along the surface of her tentacles.
If it were a regular binding spell, this move would be enough to break free within three seconds.
But those tentacles—cannot be burned.
The energy was applied, but it was completely absorbed without even a Mars being thrown up.
Yabbat changed her approach; a mental shockwave shot out from her eyes, heading straight for Doctor Strange Supreme's core consciousness.
It still didn't work.
She tried to tear space apart again, but failed.
Void jump failed.
Rune Explosion failed.
Finally, she reversed her grip on the dagger and chopped down hard at the tentacle that was wrapped around her right wrist.
The blade cut into the surface of the slime about two millimeters, and then got stuck.
The tentacle even tightened, squeezing the dagger out of her hand. The knife fell to the ground with a crisp sound.
Yabbat stopped struggling completely.
The man's shadowy tentacles had devoured far more dimensional beings than she had anticipated.
Dark matter condensates of this density are no longer simply magical creations, but are closer to an independent ecosystem.
She raised her head, her cold white eyes meeting those green pupils behind the dark sclera.
What is your purpose?
Dark Supreme Doctor Strange, did not answer immediately.
He raised his right hand, his five fingers loosely clenched, and a white porcelain cup appeared out of thin air in his palm.
Steam rose from the rim of the cup, the bitter aroma of coffee clashing in stark contrast to the scorched earth of the ruins.
He picked up his cup and took a slow, deliberate sip.
I took another sip.
Yabbat was left hanging in mid-air, waiting silently.
Only when the cup was empty did Strange toss the empty glass aside. Before it hit the ground, a tentacle caught it and crushed it silently.
"You're asking me? I don't know either."
He finally spoke, his voice dry and rough.
"However, a Multiverse Level HR professional has taken a liking to you. The compensation—" he paused, "Is very generous."
Yabbat's mind raced.
Multiverse Level? HR? Taken a liking to her?
It's the man who just sent Infinity Ultron flying with a single axe blow.
The information connection is completed within two seconds.
Yabbat's thinking was frighteningly clear; she had wandered the multiverse for too long and witnessed the logic of the actions of too many powerful beings.
The reason for recruiting her is simply because they value her abilities or the information she possesses.
But the Dark Supreme Doctor Strange before them was clearly not the type to be easily appeased with "loyalty" or "ideology".
"What payment did they offer you?" Yabbat's voice was calm. "I can offer double, or even more, to let me go."
Strange tilted his head.
A faint smile flickered in those distorted green eyes as they stared intently at the Black Swan Yabbat.
Can you resurrect the Deadman?
Yabbat's body stiffened for a moment.
Can you reverse Absolute Point in Time?
Quiet.
The wind whipped up dust from the ruins, passing between the two men.
Yabbat did not speak.
She certainly knew what those two concepts meant.
Reviving the Deadman is not difficult; the difficulty lies in the five words " Absolute Point in Time."
That means that causality has been locked, the timeline has collapsed, and all parallel possibilities have converged into a single outcome.
The number of beings capable of doing both of these things simultaneously can be counted on one hand throughout the entire multiverse.
And this man was willing to work as a thug for such a reward.
Yabbat frowned.
It wasn't because of shock, it was because of disgust.
Altering Absolute Point in Time and reversing predetermined fate was the thing she hated most in her life.
Every universe has its predetermined trajectory; life and death are all predetermined.
She watched as her universe Oblivion in the collision, and her entire race was wiped out. She did not complain or blame others, because that was fate.
And now, someone is willing to pay such a price to defy fate itself.
"... Don't you have any other wishes?"
She suppressed her disgust, her voice remaining calm.
"I'm willing to trade anything, any information, any resource."
Strange shook his head.
Without hesitation, without thought, and without even the slightest wavering.
He simply turned around and walked toward the Beta Ray Bill and the Gladiator lying in the ruins not far away.
Tentacles surged out from under the Cloak again, easily binding the two heavily injured and unconscious figures, dragging them next to Yabbat, and the three of them hung side by side.
Yabbat remained silent for a long time.
Until the distant sound of energy explosions and the muffled thuds of the silver-white figure being repeatedly slammed into the earth's crust came.
She spoke again.
Strange.
Dark Supreme Doctor Strange, turned around.
"I'll take you to the Darkhold."
This time, Strange paused for a moment.
But it was only one shot.
He wasn't surprised; it was expected that the white-haired woman in front of him would recognize him.
In the multiverse, the white-haired version of the Black Swan is an SSR-level rare species, with experience, knowledge, and information reserves far exceeding those of ordinary people.
Recognizing a fallen Sorcerer Supreme was not difficult for her.
But the Darkhold...
Strange lowered his eyes.
Christine's face flashed briefly in the depths of my memory.
The face was blurred, but the pain of loss was clearer than the screams of any being from any dimension.
The Darkhold couldn't give him what he wanted.
It's useless. Reversing Absolute Point in Time isn't a problem that knowledge can solve; it's a problem of power level.
And Thor who Infinity Ultron with a single axe strike, proved to him right in front of him that he was capable of doing all of this.
"Not enough."
Two words—a clean and decisive rejection of the Black Swan.
Yabbat shut her mouth.
She finally realized one thing: she couldn't go anywhere until that man dealt with Ultron.
Boom boom boom!!!
In the distance, another deafening roar, like a mountain collapsing, echoed.
Half the horizon was illuminated by golden and silver light, followed by the frenzied, multicolored glow characteristic of the Infinity Stones.
Yabbat turned her head and looked towards the battlefield.
The golden figure was gripping Infinity Ultron's neck with one hand, pressing it deep into the earth's crust.
The Six Infinity Stones simultaneously emitted defensive light, but were suppressed by a layer of visible law power, making it impossible for them to move an inch.
Strange was watching too.
His tentacles twitched unconsciously, and the light and shadow of the distant battlefield were reflected in his twisted green eyes.
"... Interesting," he muttered.
Yabbat didn't reply; she simply stared at the battlefield, her mind racing with a single question—
What kind of monster is it that can simultaneously promise to "resurrect the Deadman " and "reverse Absolute Point in Time "?
The next second, the light in the distance suddenly went out.
An Infinity Stones streaked across the sky and crashed into the ground less than twenty meters away, embedding itself in the rubble and faintly emitting a blue light.
