"Damn it!" Constantine tossed his cigarette butt into the sand and cursed again, "We've only just started the furnace and they're already showing up!"
Oliver grabbed a handful of Nth Metal arrows that had just cooled down; the arrows were still warm, making his palms tingle.
"Time is too tight; we've only made a few weapons so far." He stuffed the arrowheads into his quiver, his face grim.
This little bit of food isn't even enough to fill those monsters' teeth!
I'll stall for time.
A flash of golden lightning, Barry Allen was instantly standing in front of everyone.
He looked down at Arthur and Mera at the bottom of the steps, speaking rapidly like a machine gun.
" Arthur, I need your help."
Arthur stood up, trident in hand. The sea breeze ruffled his wet blond hair, and his brows furrowed deeply. "What favor?"
"I'll use the Speed Force to create a storm on the sea, a Speed Force storm," Barry gestured, leaving several golden afterimages in the air. "I need you and Mera's help to manipulate the seawater. We'll unleash an unprecedented tsunami to buy Hal and the others time."
This plan is crazy and audacious, completely in Barry Allen's style.
Use speed to fight against despair.
Arthur looked at his wife, Mera, whose eyes showed no hesitation. She nodded to him.
The ocean is their territory, and they will not allow these dark creatures to defile it.
"Alright," Arthur slammed the trident heavily onto the sand, making a dull thud, "Now?"
"Now!"
Before he finished speaking, Barry Allen had already transformed into a golden-red lightning bolt, shooting straight towards the sea.
Instead of running into the distance, he began a frantic back-and-forth run along the coastline, centered on Themyscira.
His speed increased, and the seawater beneath his feet was torn apart by the enormous kinetic energy, creating a water wall hundreds of meters high.
Golden lightning from the Speed Force Force mingled with the seawater, causing the entire surface to seem to boil, and a massive whirlpool was forming.
Arthur raised his trident high above his head, ancient Atlantis runes glowing on his arm, and he let out a roar that seemed to come from the depths of the sea.
Mera pushed her hands forward, and a deep blue water elemental energy surged from her palms.
As if receiving a king's command, the sea around Themyscira receded instantly, revealing large areas of wet seabed and reefs.
The next second, under the combined control of Arthur and Mera, the receding seawater transformed into a terrifying water dragon, roaring as it poured into the Speed Force storm created by Barry.
The nightmare monsters and black mist approached quickly, but against the Flash, any speed paled in comparison.
Almost instantly, the Speed Force, the Ocean Force, and the Ocean Force combined to create a giant tsunami over 300 meters high that rose abruptly from the ground.
The crest of the wave flashed with golden lightning, like an insurmountable wall of sighs, crashing down fiercely onto the encroaching black mist.
boom--!!!
The deafening roar nearly ripped eardrums off, and the entire island shook violently.
The tsunami swept away the black fog and the countless nightmare monsters within it with devastating force.
The piercing scream was instantly extinguished by the giant wave, not even a single bubble rose.
With a single strike, the remaining soldiers were wiped out.
But everyone knew that the trouble had only just begun.
In the sky after the tsunami subsided, space was torn open by an invisible force, leaving four rifts.
The first to emerge was the Batman Who Laughs, whose grin stretched to his ears. Behind him were the Devastator, a Wall of Flesh, the Murder Machine covered in cold metal, and the Dawn Lantern, surrounded by a twisted green the Dawnbreaker.
Behind them followed a large group of Gotham villains corrupted by darkness and villains from other universes, their empty eyes burning with a desire for destruction.
" The Murder Machine," The Batman Who Laughs's voice was like countless needles scraping against glass, "Lead the team and take care of those rebellious little bugs on the beach."
"Confirmed. Objective: Eliminate all life forms." A red light flashed in the Murder Machine's eyes, and it swooped down towards the beach with a large number of corrupted villains.
The Batman Who Laughs didn't even glance at the battlefield below. He adjusted his spiked metal eye mask and floated straight toward the temple atop the mountain.
As he flew, he hummed that nauseating aria.
" Diana... my little bird... I think the gift I gave you will surely make you very happy..."
His morbid laughter echoed through the mountains, filled with blasphemous intent.
However, just as his toes were about to step onto the first step of the temple, a sharp whooshing sound rang out!
A black Batarang sliced through the air, aiming precisely at the face of the Batman Who Laughs.
The Batman Who Laughs didn't even turn around; he merely tilted his head slightly, and the Batarang grazed his cheek, embedding itself in the stone wall behind him.
"This isn't a place for you," a cold, young voice rang out.
Damian Wayne leaped down from a broken stone pillar and landed steadily in front of the Batman Who Laughs, blocking his path.
The Batman Who Laughs grinned, revealing its terrifyingly large mouth, and examined the "son" before it with great interest.
"Wow... wow... wow..." he exclaimed in exaggerated admiration, "Look who this is? My son. I remember, not long ago you ran into my arms and became my best Robin Hounds."
He extended a finger and pointed at Damian from afar. "I'm giving you one more chance, a chance to dedicate your life to me, Damian."
Before he could finish speaking, several more Batarang flew in a triangular formation, interrupting his long speech.
"That me, I was so stupid." Damian's voice was flat, but his eyes were sharp as knives. "Of course, you were a fool too."
Without another word, he drew the longsword from his back.
The blade reflected a peculiar metallic luster in the dim light of the day; it was a newly forged Nth Metal weapon.
The next second, Damian bent over and charged forward like an arrow released from a bow!
The Batman Who Laughs ' smile remained unchanged. "That's not what a good child should do."
He spoke casually, drawing a similarly bizarrely shaped, barbed, blood-red longsword from under his trench coat and swinging it at Damian's charge.
Clang--!
