Iron Man hovered over the sea of fire, striking a pose amidst the surrounding gunfire and projectiles, before landing gracefully.
The mask rose, revealing a face that looked like it deserved a punch.
He looked the man opposite him up and down, dusting off his cloak, and clicked his tongue.
"Is this Vought's trump card?"
"You got pushed into the bank lobby after just a brief encounter; looks like your hair gel is harder than your fists."
A dangerous red glint flashed in the eyes of the Homelander, and he forcibly swallowed his anger.
" Stark, you've come at the perfect time."
The Homelander said tolerantly, "We can deal with this monster first, then we can chat."
Before the two could reach an agreement, the sound of a conveyor belt could be heard from the street corner.
Twelve armored personnel carriers rushed into the street, their rooftop Soundwave transmitters all raised.
The dark muzzle of the cannon was pointed at everyone in the arena.
The command vehicle followed behind, and as soon as the hatch opened, the old general, with his full head of silver hair, jumped out.
" Stark! Homelander! This is a military-led operational area!"
Thaddeus Ross, wielding a megaphone, shouted, "Withdraw from the blockade! Evacuate immediately! That's an order!"
Brooklyn's battle was broadcast globally, and Subject Zero was a project he strongly advocated for.
If he can't salvage this situation today, his future will be over.
The two ignored him.
Homelander, being an arrogant fellow, wouldn't even deign to acknowledge an ordinary person, let alone a general.
Go ahead and talk to Vought if you dare!
Tony Stark didn't care either.
" JARVIS, give them a message: there's a large green toy here. The military can line up if they want it."
The shoulder-mounted miniature missile bay popped open with a whoosh.
Twelve miniature missiles, trailing white smoke, were launched simultaneously, skimming the ground and heading straight for Hulk's face.
Bang bang bang bang!
The explosions piled on top of each other, forcing the large creature to retreat several steps.
The black smoke dissipated, and the monster shook its head, with fragments of brick falling from its scalp.
The ferocity in the green eyes was crystal clear and obvious.
Tony whistled through his mask. "Twelve shots for it to retreat five steps? That's a terrible deal."
JARVIS's alarm blared in his ears.
"Sir, warning! The target cell's energy and muscle hardness are increasing exponentially. Pure physical attacks are fueling it. We recommend changing your attack method as soon as possible."
"Recharge? So those twelve missiles I just fired were just to light its cigarette and add some excitement?"
The Homelander don't have time to deal with this clown.
But he couldn't wait any longer; for every second he looked so disheveled in front of the camera, Vought's idol cracked a little more.
With both feet off the ground, he leaped onto Hulk's head, clasped his fists together, and slammed down from the sky.
The punch produced a sonic boom, the sound wave causing spiderweb-like patterns to appear on the surrounding glass curtain walls.
But Hulk dodged to the side with an agility that belies his massive size.
He reached out and scooped it up, hitting the red cloak squarely.
"Oh no..."
Before the words of the Homelander had even finished, the world spun around them.
Hulk grabbed the cape and swung it around, slamming the Vought star's legs hard and repeatedly slamming him to the ground.
Deep craters were smashed one after another, and screams erupted throughout the stadium.
Tony, suspended in mid-air, watched with a wide grin.
Thinking to myself, this was a worthwhile investment; the live stream of Vought's star player getting beaten up is worth a billion dollars in advertising space.
The dual-palm pulse cannons deployed at full power, and the chest-mounted beam simultaneously illuminated.
Three beams of light converged, creating a scorching energy that pressed against the green Giant's back.
"Lie still, cloaked man!"
The intense light pushed the green Giant across half a street, shoving it into an office building slated for demolition.
The Homelander struggled out of the deep pit, his hair disheveled and his cloak torn in half.
The crimson in his eyes completely obscured the whites, and he burst forth from the ruins, so fast that Tony's sensors only caught a fleeting afterimage.
In the blink of an eye, he wrapped his arms around the green Giant's neck, his ten fingers digging into the green skin.
The green-skinned Giant roared, his arms thrusting outwards in the opposite direction.
Two large hands gripped the Homelander's wrists and began to forcefully pry them outwards.
"Impossible..."
The green Giant threw his head back and howled, his muscles bulging, and forcefully pried those hands off his neck.
With a backhand flick, Homelander flew sideways, smashing through another wall.
Just then, a large number of military personnel took action.
The Soundwave weapons on the twelve armored vehicles opened fire simultaneously, and high-frequency Soundwave swept across the entire area, causing the air to tremble violently.
Hulk clutched his head in agony, his nails digging into his scalp, and his howl pierced the sky.
The Homelander didn't fare any better; their super hearing was pure torture in the face of Soundwave.
Tony wasn't doing much better; the sensors inside his mask were all producing static and noise.
JARVIS
"Sir, the military failed to provide prior notification as required by coordination regulations, and the Soundwave frequency is interfering with all the armor's sensor systems."
Tony cursed in mid-air, "A bunch of idiots!"
Under multiple stimuli, the green Giant went completely insane.
It pulled up the ten-meter-long underground main water pipe beneath its feet, and muddy water gushed out from the broken end.
It's a sweeping strike.
The three Soundwave armored vehicles were instantly blown to smithereens, bursting into flames, and vehicle parts flew out and smashed through two storefronts.
The remaining vehicles quickly turned around, and the Soundwave output was turned up to maximum power, but the monster continued to ram forward despite the sound waves.
Thaddeus Ross was jumping up and down in the command vehicle.
"Fire! All firepower, open fire at will!"
Tank cannons, machine guns, grenades—all the ammunition was unleashed, slamming into her and exploding into bursts of fire.
When the smoke cleared, the monster stood there, its skin unbroken.
The lead tank was reversing while firing its cannon when this monster grabbed the cannon barrel, swung the tank up, and smashed it into the group of tanks next to it.
Green skin, Homelander, Iron Man, military.
The melee made the battlefield increasingly chaotic.
At the other end of the block, a figure more than three meters tall appeared.
His body was covered with yellowish-brown joints, with bone spurs sticking out, and his eyes were filled with bloodlust.
The live stream camera captured this scene.
Inside the command vehicle, General Ross stared at the figure on the screen, his walkie-talkie falling to the ground.
" Abomination!"
