Aidan drew on Hela’s faith in him and revived after his pixel body and heart were nearly destroyed. He revealed seven pixel hearts and new powers, then attacked Lü Batian and Su Yiyao, leaving Lü Batian badly wounded.

After awakening seven souls and gaining immense power and seemingly unlimited revival, Aidan overwhelmed the Five Calamities’ allies. Lü Mengmeng reversed time after Aidan’s hidden duplicate stabbed Lü Weitian, undoing the attack but leaving her badly injured.

• Aidan used his new power to split and destroy the black-and-red dragon, then healed from his wounds and pursued Lü Batian despite repeated attacks.
• Aidan repeatedly revived after Lü Batian and Su Yiyao killed him, until he caught Lü Batian and stabbed him in the abdomen.

Lin Wushuang discovered that Satellite had taken control of the Night Stars after their human leaders were gone, then found the Tree of Terra and restored his spiritual power from it. He returned to where Aidan was, only to encounter a sound-seeking guard that stopped before attacking him.

• Lin Wushuang found blood in the Night Star conference room and learned from Satellite that it had become humanity’s leader after the human higher-ups were gone.
• Satellite revealed that it knew about the Lord’s ability, Thought, and Lin Wushuang suspected there was a spy before destroying the last projector.

Lin Wushuang, Yao Di, and Aidan returned to the Light God Society after finding the Tree of Terra and defeating [Heroic Spirit]. As Nan Tian led the Society toward its next operation, Aidan and Yao Di left, and Nan Tian revealed that Aidan’s power might exceed his own.

• Lin Wushuang brought Yao Di and Aidan back to Nan Tian, reporting that they had found the Tree of Terra and dealt with [Heroic Spirit].
• Nan Tian released Yao Di from the next mission, but Lin Wushuang volunteered to continue serving the Light God Society.

Aidan left Yao Di with a green pixel heart, which she learned held a part of his soul, and she invited him to play games. Meanwhile, the Light God Society found the Gravekeepers' seven districts deserted, and Lin Wushuang took Nan Tian to the confirmed location as their plan began.

• Hela sensed Xiao Huan approaching, and Sky carried the insect to her in a hurricane.

Xiao Huan left to watch over Aidan’s body after learning of his death, while Hela and the others descended into Ten Thousand Sharks Valley to begin preparations for Ocean’s plan. At the gathering with Ground, Hela took Aidan’s scarf from Tuote and found a note hidden inside it.

• Xiao Huan flew toward the United States to watch over Aidan for five years, and Ye Yiqing promised to arrange for his resurrection.

Hela’s transformation consumed the Five Calamities and Meng Yuan before lightning engulfed Ocean and gave birth to Ultimate, whose arrival made Variants across the world bow. In the countryside, Jixue sensed the event and howled toward the sky, and Yixue realized something had happened.

Nan Tian celebrated [Ultimate]'s appearance and revealed his hatred of humans as [Ultimate] advanced toward a city. In City A, Shasha returned to the warehouse where Tang Jie and Ruibei worried about Aidan, who had stopped contacting them.

• Ye Linwan celebrated [Ultimate]'s appearance with Ye Ciqing and Lin Wushuang, then said they still had to deal with the traitors.
• Nan Tian rejoiced that [Ultimate] had appeared and spoke of his hatred and alienation from humans.
• [Ultimate] moved through a stormy sea toward a city, leaving fire and violent waters in its wake.
• Shasha returned to the warehouse in City A, where Tang Jie and Ruibei greeted her and helped with her schoolbag.

A strange voice and the appearance of the colossal Ultimate plunged the city into panic as nausea, violent winds, and scorching heat overwhelmed its people. Ultimate crushed its way through the city, and Ruibei, Shasha, and Tang Jie were engulfed by fire.

• Tang Jie, Shasha, and Ruibei heard a strange voice in their minds and went outside to investigate.
• Ruibei saw Ultimate emerge through the rain, while the monster’s presence made the trio nauseous and unleashed a destructive typhoon.
• Ruibei carried the unconscious Shasha and Tang Jie through the panicked city as people fled, looted, and fought.
• Ultimate came ashore, shook the earth, and crushed its way across the city as Ruibei fell and lost consciousness.
• A mother threw her infant forward before the waves of fire engulfed her, but the flames swallowed the child as well.

Hela controlled [Ultimate] as it consumed a city, then realized the other [Five Calamities] had fused with her. She entered [Sky]'s memories and found an elderly figure with the aura of [Life].

• Hela controlled [Ultimate], which destroyed and consumed the city in less than ten minutes.
• Hela awakened as a consciousness in a world of flesh and blood and realized she had absorbed the other [Five Calamities].
• Hela searched the fused memories and entered [Sky]'s soul, emerging into a lush jungle full of extinct plants and animals.
• Hela sensed [Sky] descending and rushed to a mountain cabin, where she saw an elderly figure carving a grave marker beside a coffin.
• Hela discovered that the elderly figure in [Sky]'s memory gave off the aura of [Life].

Hela watched her previous incarnation, Life, confront Sky, who came to challenge him for the title of strongest of the Five Calamities. Life turned Sky’s attacks against him, and the battle continued as a scarlet tornado struck Sky.

• Hela recognized the elderly man as her previous incarnation, Life, and wondered about the wife buried in his house.
• Sky appeared above the mountain and mocked Life for burying a human woman, whom Life identified as his wife.
• Sky declared that he would kill Life and become the strongest of the Five Calamities, but Life refused to fight for the title.
• Sky attacked Life with a barrage of air bullets, while Life used the mountain’s trees to shield his house and survived the assault.
• Sky attacked again with a tornado of dark clouds and lightning, but Life transformed the mountain’s vegetation into blood mist and redirected the resulting scarlet tornado at Sky.

The old man spoke with Sky about the meaning of the Five Calamities and whether humanity deserved destruction. Unable to judge humanity impartially because of his deep ties to it, he entrusted that decision to his next life and asked Sky to kill him without interfering too much with his reincarnation.

• Sky tried to attack the old man, but the old man stopped the tornado and invited him to talk.
• The old man used a flower to explain how different beings could give life different meanings, then questioned whether humanity deserved to die.
• The old man buried his wife and explained that humanity's survival should be decided by someone else because he could not judge it neutrally.

Hela remembered the people who had cared for her and began to question whether humanity should be destroyed, while Aidan’s final wish helped her understand what it meant to be remembered. In a snowy wasteland, Yan Wusheng confronted Bai Yu and told him he had been an undercover agent in the Light God Society all along.

• Hela remembered Aidan’s wish that she would always remember him and began to understand why he had made it.
• Bai Yu waited in a vast snowy area after finding a cryptic inscription on his hand.

• Yan Wusheng cited Bai Yu’s past intelligence on the Society and questioned whether Bai Yu would truly have joined it.

Bai Yu recovered his memories of infiltrating the Light God Society for the Night Stars and agreed to return as humanity faced the Ultimate. Before he and Yan Wusheng could leave, Ye Linwan and Ye Ciqing confronted them, and Bai Yu was killed while trying to flee.

• Bai Yu read Yan Wusheng’s notebook and remembered how Wang Canxin had used memory-altering pills to help him infiltrate the Light God Society and relay its plans to the Night Stars.
• Yan Wusheng asked Bai Yu to return to the Night Stars, and Bai Yu agreed despite believing humanity had little chance of defeating the Ultimate.
