Zombies?
Am I dreaming or am I seeing things?
Liu Sandao stared wide-eyed in disbelief, his entire back tingling.
Upon suddenly seeing this creature from strange tales and legends, a tremendous fear enveloped him.
Until the zombie on the balcony, upon seeing the juicy, bloody prey, lunged once more into the dormitory.
'Ping-ping!'
The aluminum alloy window could no longer stop this bloodthirsty monster; half of its body darted into the dormitory balcony.
A pair of blood-red eyes stared at Liu Sandao inside the room, their eyes filled with a thirst for flesh and blood.
Only then did Liu Sandao react, and he shouted at the top of his lungs:
"A ghost! There's a zombie!"
While shouting, he hurriedly patted his roommates' beds, trying to wake these guys who were sleeping like pigs.
"What's wrong, San Sandao? What's gotten into you in the middle of the night?"
The roommates were still having a sweet dream when they were suddenly awakened by Liu Sandao's shouts, and they all spoke up indignantly.
"A zombie... a zombie!"
Liu Sandao shouted, his voice trembling, while hurriedly calling out to the two people closest to the balcony.
The zombies only had two severed legs left to escape; any later and they would surely perish.
"What zombie? Liu Sandao, what's wrong with you in the middle of the night?"
The chubby boy who didn't believe in ghosts and gods during the day was now drowsily muttering to himself. He was on the upper bunk above Liu Sandao.
Before he could say anything more, a loud thud came from the balcony, followed by a roar like that of a wild Beast.
It was only then, using the light from Liu Sandao's laptop, that he could clearly see the monster on the balcony.
"Zombies! Holy crap!"
The chubby boy's exclamation finally woke up all his sleeping roommates.
However, the zombies on the balcony couldn't wait to launch their attack.
With its legs slightly bent, the zombie stretched out its straight arms and leaped off the balcony.
Liu Sandao, who was calling out to his roommates, stood in the very center of the dormitory. It was clear that the zombies were targeting him.
Just as the zombie pounced, Liu Sandao either reacted suddenly or had anticipated it.
He simply fell to the ground, then rolled to the side and crawled under the bed.
Accompanied by a stench and a howling wind, the zombie landed steadily in the center of the dormitory, but unfortunately failed to pounce on Liu Sandao.
However, the student who was sleeping on the balcony and had just been woken up by Liu Sandao was not so lucky.
The zombie missed its first attack, then immediately turned and aimed at him, its crimson eyes filled with a thirst for flesh and blood.
"Help... help me... ah!"
Li Zhi was just an ordinary college student who had just woken up when he was targeted by a monster from a storybook, which terrified him so much that he cowered in bed, trembling with fear.
The air smelled strongly of urine.
The zombie didn't care about anything else; as soon as it saw a living person in front of it, it pounced on them.
Two sharp claws pierced Li Zhi's arm with a soft thud, and dark red blood spurted out, further fueling the zombie's ferocity.
Raising its claws, it held Li Zhi tightly in its arms and lifted him high above.
With its mangled mouth, a pair of fangs were already protruding, about to reach Li Zhi's neck.
"Help! Brothers, save me!"
Li Zhi screamed in terror as the zombie's claws pierced his arm. He could only kick and stomp with his large feet, but the zombie remained unmoved.
The others in the dormitory were so terrified by what they saw that they were completely at a loss and dared not step forward to help.
Although everyone is usually like brothers, in this situation, everyone is afraid!
Even the chubby boy sleeping on the upper bunk by the door, seeing the zombie grabbing Li Zhi, momentarily ignored them and even shouted:
"Open the door quickly! Run! Otherwise, after the zombies finish biting Li Zhi, it'll be our turn."
This was clearly meant for the student in the lower bunk across from them to open the door.
But when people are gripped by fear, who would dare to open the door?
The student in the lower bunk opposite the chubby boy was completely terrified, covering his head with his blanket and not daring to say a word.
Meanwhile, screams echoed throughout the university dormitory building, indicating that the zombie attack was not limited to just this one dormitory.
Because the male dormitory at Z University was the closest student dormitory to the back mountain, the students on the first floor all suffered.
"Help... help me... ah~!"
In that brief moment of hesitation, the zombie's fangs were already clamped down on Li Zhi's neck, and his final plea for help was choked back.
'Glug~ Glug'
The long-starved zombies gulped down human blood, their eyes gleaming with an ever-increasing ferocity.
Seeing that his roommate on the lower bunk across from him wasn't cooperating, the chubby boy finally gritted his teeth, jumped down from the upper bunk, and ripped open the door latch.
Before he could even open the door, a pair of sharp claws pierced through his chest.
"This..."
The chubby boy smelled a fishy, foul odor coming from beside his ear, followed by a sharp pain in his neck.
Having drunk Li Zhi's blood, the zombie gained some intelligence and pounced on the chubby boy who opened the door.
The poor, calmest chubby boy failed to open the door and tragically died inside the dormitory.
As the zombies began to suck blood, the remaining six people in the dormitory felt their hearts sink; it seemed they were going to die here today.
Even Liu Sandao, who had rolled under the bed, saw Li Zhi's body lying on the ground, drained of blood, his eyes wide open in death.
Soon, another body slid out from the doorway; it was the chubby boy's.
Immediately afterwards, the bed next door shook, accompanied by screams and the wails of a dying person.
'Help! What should I do! I don't want to die!'
'Someone please save me! I really don't want to die!'
Liu Sandao kept praying, his heart filled with fear.
Do you want power? Do you want to live?
A voice rang in Liu Sandao's ear, and without any hesitation, Liu Sandao responded loudly.
"Think"
"Haha, then accept this power! I hope you won't let me down!"
Only after answering did Liu Sandao realize something was wrong; who was talking to him?
Before he could think any further, a dazzling white light appeared in front of him and then entered his body without warning.
Then, a large amount of information churned in his mind, and a panel that Liu Sandao could understand appeared before his eyes.

"Can one gain immense power simply by unleashing their desires and doing whatever they want?"

The sudden appearance of the panel in his mind startled Liu Sandao for a moment, followed by a surge of power that spread throughout his body.
He could feel this power making his body stronger, even giving him the illusion that he could kill a bull with a single punch.
