Drawn into the Insect Hole

Qin Ming and Gu Chang'an hid within the black hole dug by the Devouring Sky Rat, watching the sudden events unfolding before them.

They were somewhat at a loss as well.

"Brother Li, didn't you say there were no fierce insects above the Integrated Body Level? Then what is this supposed to be?"

"Weren't you setting Gu up?"

Gu Chang'an sent Qin Ming a speechless voice transmission.

This was hardly the first or second time.

Qin Ming, however, did not take it to heart. Back then, he had not anticipated this situation either.

If that fierce insect kept guarding the place, then their plans for this trip would likely come to nothing.

"Brother Gu, don't panic. You saw it too—there truly are only Sixth-Order insects within this Insect Valley. This Seventh-Order Fierce Insect before us probably only came to inspect the situation temporarily. Perhaps it will leave shortly."

"Let's wait and see. If it truly comes to it, we can only abandon the purpose of this trip."

After a brief moment of thought, Qin Ming sent his reply through voice transmission.

"That's more like it." Gu Chang'an nodded in satisfaction. It was as good as doing nothing and getting a Mystic Spirit Immortal Peach for free.

The abacus in his heart clattered away.

But in an instant.

Gu Chang'an narrowed his eyes and looked toward the enormous Void Rift behind that gigantic Golden-Backed Mantis. There seemed to be a distorted black hole within it, with Purple Electric Arcs constantly shooting outward.

"Something's wrong! Brother Li, look—what is that?"

Qin Ming followed the direction he pointed and looked over.

"A Void Insect Hole."

"How could it appear here?"

At the sight of this, both men's hearts tightened.

This sort of special passage capable of linking the Two Realms was exceedingly rare.
