The Beast Cry Mountain Range contained numerous powerful Demon Race clans, including hidden groups unknown even to the Devouring Sky Rat King. Qin Ming learned that the region's visible clans alone were formidable enough that only a late Golden Core ancestor of Profound Stream Valley was thought capable of contending with a late Third-Order Great Demon King. 215

During the Blood Abyss Realm's demonic-path incursion, the Demon Race debated whether to aid the Southern Wilderness. Ancient Mountain Demon Saint supported intervention, while Black Wind Demon Saint opposed it; the clans ultimately dispatched forces because cooperation with the Human Race against the demonic path remained necessary. 480

Black Wind Demon Saint later betrayed the Demon Race alongside the Wind-Rending Eagle Tribe, causing severe losses. Ancient Mountain Demon Saint sought to unite the race against the Yin Demon Sect, Divine Path Mountain, and the traitorous eagle clan. 489

Spirit Realm conflicts

In the Spirit Realm, the Human, Demon, and Devil Races occupy three major territories divided by the Y-shaped Heaven Spine Mountains. The Demon Race possesses more Mahayana-level rulers than the Human Race, though the Human Race has more mid- and upper-level cultivators above the God Transformation stage. 610

A Demon Race faction secretly encouraged several foreign races to attack the Yellow Springs Devouring Abyss and made contact with the Netherworld Underworld, apparently while searching for an important object. 712 762

The collapse of an Immortal Abode Secret Realm in Demon Race territory released enormous Void Insect Holes and an unending Insect Tide. Several Demon Race spirit domains were consumed, while Demon Commander Ao Yu was defeated and grievously injured by a Seventh-Rank moth insect. 797

The Human and Demon Races later established a truce against the Insect Calamity. It collapsed after Demon Commander Ao Yu slaughtered Human Race cultivators, bringing the two sides to the brink of renewed war. 828 834

Ancient Demon Realm reinforcements

The Ancient Demon Realm reopened cross-realm passages and sent reinforcements into the Spirit Realm, including several powerful Demon Commanders. Their arrival caused the Human Race to prepare for another Heaven Spine Mountains war. 880 882 887

The Demon Race secretly mobilized a million-strong army for a surprise offensive against the Heaven Spine Mountains, but the Human Race had prepared a trap. Demon Commanders Yi Huang and Crimson Feather were defeated, worsening the Demon Race's internal turmoil. 887 891
