From Porunga's answer, Turles had gleaned plenty of information that satisfied him.
The Tree of Might was a product of the planet where the gods were born.
Its fruit was meant specifically for the gods to eat.
A Tree of Might planted anywhere other than the Core World could not bear the true Fruit of the Gods.
That was one thing that disappointed Turles.
In other words, what they had eaten before was not the true Fruit of the Gods at all.
He had originally hoped to get Porunga to tell him how to grow a Tree of Might without harming a planet's life energy.
Now it seemed that idea had come to nothing...
Never mind the Core World; he wasn't even sure exactly where the realm of the gods was...
He could only guess it was the world where the Sacred World of the Kai was located?
For a mortal to get there, wouldn't he have to die and travel there from the underworld...?
There was nothing he could do.
"You have one wish left. Speak."
After Porunga said that, for some reason, he added another sentence almost on impulse.
"Saiyan, I hope your next wish won't offend the gods again..."
Turles was a little taken aback.
It seemed Porunga had a few complaints about his previous two wishes...
Well, it wasn't easy for anyone, so he would try not to make things difficult for the somewhat troubled Porunga with his final wish.
"Then, Porunga, my final wish is-use the full extent of your power to increase the number of S-Cells in my body!"
Dende relayed it to Porunga almost at the same time.
"As you wish!" This time, Porunga finally showed none of the difficulty he had shown the previous two times.
He got straight to work.
His dragon eyes returned to normal.
"Done. Your wish has been granted. Until we meet again..."
The moment his voice fell, Porunga's mountain-sized dragon body began to turn transparent.
The shadow covering the entire sky rapidly drew inward, and dazzling golden light burst from the outline of his body. Porunga turned into golden light and disappeared.
Immediately afterward, the seven Dragon Balls lost all their luster, changing from translucent orange orbs back into ordinary gray stones.
The sky returned to its eternal, unchanging green.
Turles was still standing where he was, his eyes tightly shut.
The others watched him curiously.
After a long while, he slowly opened his eyes.
But his brow still seemed furrowed.
"Did the number really increase? Why can't I feel anything?"
"Hey, are you all right?" Tights poked Turles in the arm.
Turles shook his head.
Meanwhile, after Porunga disappeared, Nail took Dende back to the Grand Elder.
Turles turned his head and saw Dende still waving goodbye to them.
"Let's go. Before we leave, we should say goodbye to the Grand Elder too."
Turles set off first, with Tights following close behind.
Cacao followed mechanically as well.
"Hey, hey, hey, wait a minute. I have questions for you." Tights already had a pen and paper in her hands.
"What was that about the Dragon Balls?"
"And what are S-Cells?"
Along the way, faced with the endlessly talkative Tights, Turles could only choose not to listen.
After saying goodbye to the Grand Elder,
Turles, Tights, and Cacao vanished before the eyes of the Grand Elder, Nail, and Dende.
Nail looked at the Grand Elder in confusion.
"Grand Elder, why did you...?"
"Nail, this was the right thing for us to do. We need him to be a friend of Planet Namek, not an enemy."
"Right now, he needs our help."
"Someday in the future, I may need his help too."
"Didn't the wishes he made show that he wasn't an evil man?"
"If he had come here today with evil intentions, Planet Namek might have ceased to exist..."
Nail was clearly unconvinced.
He spoke in a tone of disagreement. "He didn't have the power to do that, not if the Grand Elder hadn't helped him increase his strength..."
"Even without that, he had the power, Nail." The Grand Elder directly rejected Nail's claim.
"He was wearing heavy clothing, Nail. Even so, you weren't confident you could defeat him, were you?"
"What?" Nail froze.
"Yes, that is his training, training every moment of every day... His pursuit of strength is beyond anything you or I can imagine."
Nail fell silent.
After a long while, Nail bowed to the Grand Elder and left the room as well.
The Grand Elder watched Nail's retreating figure and sighed.
"Grand Elder, what about Nail?" Dende looked puzzled.
"It's all right. He's just gone to train..."
The Grand Elder understood.
Turles's strength had put Nail under enormous pressure.
He was afraid.
He was afraid that if another invader that powerful appeared, he wouldn't be able to protect the Grand Elder.
In fact, the Grand Elder had offered many times in the past to use Potential Unleashed on Nail.
But he had refused every time.
He couldn't bring himself to consume the Grand Elder's life energy to increase his own strength.
