"This is a relic of civilization Bonesm bought from a traveling merchant. The blade is completely damaged; at most, it can be swung once more before shattering completely," Ruan Mei reminded him.
Bai Heng could tell that this Edict Blade still had the potential to be reforged and tempered.
But clearly, the value gained from reforging it was far less than its value as a collectible.
Even so, he could sense that the broken portions of the Edict Blade contained an enormous amount of imaginary energy. If it were fully unleashed, it might rival the full-force strike of an interstellar destroyer.
"Did you come here for it?" Bai Heng asked.
Honestly, he did not think this relic of civilization was valuable enough to draw Ruan Mei's attention.
And indeed, that was the case.
Ruan Mei shook her head, her gaze returning to the two civilization models.
"Compared with the products of those two civilizations, I'm more interested in the civilizations of Izumo and Takama-ga-hara themselves."
Following her gaze, Bai Heng looked at the two companion civilization models as well.
"Look carefully."
In Bai Heng's eyes,
the two companion celestial bodies pulled at each other like a pair of twin stars.
Above those twin stars hung a veil of shadow—a collapsed region. At the center of that collapse was a Black Sun that devoured every color.
It represented a black hole.
The combination of two companion twin planets and a black hole was unusual in this vast, diverse universe, but it was not the most extreme form of civilization structure.
As he continued watching,
Bai Heng noticed that the white sphere representing Takama-ga-hara began moving toward the white sphere representing Izumo.
This should have been the black hole's influence. Tides surged across Takama-ga-hara's surface, while mountains collapsed and the land split
