After being cleared of Chen Zilei’s death, Yang Lie was appointed acting commander of the 3rd Division and sent as the vanguard to Savage Star. He accepted Governor Helut’s challenge to a duel and struck at him while piloting the eighth-rank Azure Dragon.

• Qi An questioned Yang Lie, confirmed through the Truth-and-Falsehood Scales that he had killed Chen Zilei in self-defense, and declared him not guilty.

• At Jing Tian Village, Liu Qiang, Tian Dadong, Kaindelo, and Zheng Hai found that machines lost contact inside the mist, and Zheng Hai entered to scout but did not return.
• Liu Qiang and Kaindelo argued over whether to rescue Zheng Hai while Tian Dadong hesitated to enter the mist.
• Yang Lie arrived, heard Tian Dadong’s report, and tried to clear the mist with wind and water powers.

Yang Lie entered the fog and encountered a vast swarm of Extraordinary Magic Rats and an apparently immortal rat-headed monster. After rescuing Ming Xin Hui, he fought the monster with fire while she explained that it could only truly be killed by defeating the holder of the Box of Rats.

• Yang Lie sent a Tier 7 Yelifeijia clone into the fog and discovered a huge swarm of Extraordinary Magic Rats feeding on corpses.
• A rat-headed monster attacked Yang Lie's clone, but Ming Xin Hui arrived in her Rock Dragon Armor and destroyed it with a Rock Dragon Cannon.
• The rat-headed monster reformed among the rats as a Transcendence Eighth Order creature, declared itself immortal, and tried to capture Ming Xin Hui.
• The monster slowed Ming Xin Hui with fog shackles, kicked her into a crater, and moved to attack her Colonization Core.

Yang Lie survived Shadow Assassin’s attack and killed him, then found Shi Yuan Tao fused with the Box of Rats. Coulomb, the first Sect Leader of the Cult of the Rat Gods, seized the artifact, gravely wounded Ming Xin Hui, and chased Yang Lie as he fled.

• Shadow Assassin stabbed Yang Lie, but Yang Lie’s Weird Clone caught him with the Hanging Rope and killed him.
• Yang Lie used the Eye of the Anomalous to find Shi Yuan Tao, who was fused with the Box of Rats.
• Coulomb emerged, tore apart Shi Yuan Tao’s corpse, and swallowed the Box of Rats, gaining the power of a Ninth Order extraordinary being.
