Amidst laughter and conversation, the group arrived at a secluded mountain peak in the distance. (Fast updates available for reading novels)
Akinfeev lives here every day. There is a thatched hut and a mountain spring on the summit. It is lush and green, with vines winding around and plants dripping with freshness. It is extremely beautiful and dreamlike.
"Your Majesty must have come to ask me something." Akinfeev was quick-witted and astute. After a brief explanation of the current situation on the continent, he roughly guessed Sun Fei's purpose and took the initiative to bring up the topic.
"That's good." Sun Fei didn't hide anything and Earth Inquiry directly, "I want to know some things about the Elf Clan. Nowadays, there are frequent reports of various ancient races appearing on the continent, including news of an elven army. It doesn't seem like a hoax. Why have these ancient races suddenly reappeared after disappearing for so long? Where did they come from? Perhaps you can give me some clues."
Sun Fei's statement was not unfounded.
Akinfeev possesses the blood of the Elven royal family and has a powerful and extremely mysterious father, clearly indicating a necessary connection to the ancient Elf Clan race and that he definitely knows something about them.
Akinfeev was silent for a moment, then waved his hand, signaling the two half-elf maids to leave.
Then he looked at Sun Fei and said very seriously, "These matters were originally extremely secretive. To put it bluntly, they even concerned the fate of the entire Elf Clan. Logically speaking, I should have kept them absolutely secret and not told anyone. However, when my father arranged for me to leave, he told me that from then on, I would no longer bear the so-called mission of the Elf Clan city and would not be considered Elf Clan. If I could meet a king worthy of my service, I would serve him with peace of mind and live well. Hehe, I'm not afraid Your Majesty will laugh at me, but in fact, for more than a year, I have already considered myself a Chambord person. So, since Your Majesty has come to ask about these matters today, Akinfeev will naturally tell you everything he knows." (This chapter was uploaded by a friend)
Sun Fei nodded. "I've considered you a member of the Chambord family for a long time. We're friends, aren't we?"
Akinfeev nodded with a hearty laugh, saying, "That's truly my honor. Indeed, I know some things about the Elf Clan. Back in my family, I came across some ancient texts that recorded the end of the Age of Gods and Demons, when the world underwent a tremendous upheaval, and an extremely terrifying enemy appeared, one that even the gods and demons couldn't defeat. The various vassal races suffered heavy losses, nearly annihilated. However, races with strong foundations, and powerful members possessing divine abilities comparable to gods, would, in their final moments, leave themselves a way out, creating a small world or a secret space." This was a carefully selected refuge for the descendants of certain races. The Elf Clan were one such example. Legend has it that the thirty-six guardian deities of the Temple of the Priestess Queen of the Moon sacrificed their divine power to create a mysterious Elven Realm, relocating all surviving Elf Clan offspring there to Avoid disaster. Therefore, if the clan's records are accurate, the Elf Clan did not become extinct as many later generations believed. They thrived in the Elven Realm, perhaps even rising to prominence again. It wouldn't be surprising if they left the Elven Realm and reappeared on the Azeroth Continent.
"But you came to Chambord City searching for the so-called Ancient Mythical Road," Sun Fei thought of something else, "You already know about the existence of the Elven Realm, yet you still want to search for the Ancient Mythical Road."
"The existence of the Elven Realm is just a clue I found in my family's ancient books. I don't know where the passage to it is, or how to get there. That's why I tried my luck by searching the Ancient Mythical Road. If I could enter the Elven Realm, perhaps it could alleviate my injuries. Unfortunately, I gained nothing. Moreover, my father seems to be very wary of my actions, so he immediately arranged for me to leave the family. I find it strange; he seems worried that I might be in some danger."
"I see." Sun Fei had never heard this explanation before, and he seemed thoughtful. "Right, the so-called Elven Realm should be like this small world, a plane space connected to the Azeroth Continent. The Elf Clan are like hibernating Grizzly, recuperating and resting in the Elven Realm."
Akinfeev nodded, adding, "Perhaps they've already been active on the continent for a while now, but most people don't know it. For example, my family, my bloodline, and..." He then pointed to two charming half-elf maidens in the distance, saying, "Like them."
"The vanished ancient alien race is secretly active on this continent, cultivating its own power and infiltrating human forces." Sun Fei was startled by this hypothesis. "This is a bit too terrifying, it's like Infernal Affairs. However, the appearance of Akinfeev's father's family itself is quite telling."
" The Elf Clan weren't the most powerful race in the age of gods and demons. Since they could use such methods to escape disasters and perpetuate their race, other powerful races, such as Dragon Clan, Elf Clan, Goblin Clan, and Orc Clan, could do the same. So it's not surprising that their races have survived," Akinfeev thought for a moment and said, "Therefore, it's not necessarily a lie that some people have seen these races appearing in various parts of the continent."
"That's an interesting point of view," Sun Fei said, stroking his chin thoughtfully. "Since they haven't appeared for over a thousand years, why do you think they've suddenly reappeared?"
"Well, there are many reasons for that. For example, I've heard people say that the laws of nature on the Azeroth Continent are slowly changing, returning to the era of gods and demons. Or perhaps, the lifespan of the small worlds created through supernatural powers has come to an end, so they have no choice but to return."
"This is the only explanation." Sun Fei immediately thought of another question, "Since the ancient races used this method to continue their lineage, then the legends about the Ancient Mythical Road must be false. Why is there no information about the appearance of the Orc Clan and demons has truly become extinct?"
"That's really strange. Maybe the Orc Clan were unlucky and have gone extinct. After all, according to legend, the Orc Clan are a race that is not good at magic. Maybe they can't construct their own little world." Akinfeev didn't think too deeply about it.
"Now that you've advanced to the Great Sun-Rank Venerable, you can be fearless of external pressures and return to the real world. With your current strength, you can be considered a powerful figure. Have you thought about what you're going to do next?" Sun Fei suddenly changed the subject.
Akinfeev smiled slightly and said, "As I just said, I am now a citizen of Chambord City, and everything will naturally be as His Majesty wishes."
"I have a very interesting idea," Sun Fei said with a strange smile.
