A dramatic turn of events!
No one expected that the seemingly settled outcome of the battle would change so dramatically in the blink of an eye.
The Golden Knight, who seemed to have the upper hand just moments before, was utterly defeated in an instant. His golden helmet and armor, and even the golden spear in his hand, were destroyed by King of Chambord with a mere flick of his wrist. The crowd below the broken mountain stared in disbelief and gasped in unison. In particular, the more than one hundred Golden Knight watched helplessly as Chris Sutton's naked body plummeted from the mountain peak. They were all terrified out of their wits, and it was too late to come to his rescue.
Just then, the giant wolf-beast confronting the Big Black suddenly flashed with ferocity in its eyes. With a low growl, it shook its four hooves and transformed into a streak of yellow lightning, leaping up over the gravel and catching the falling Golden Knight Sutton mid-air. The beast roared at Sun Fei atop North Tower Peak, realizing it was no match for him. Carrying the unconscious Golden Knight on its back, it turned and fled like lightning towards the capital.
"Quickly... protect the adults!"
Amidst their gasps, the Golden Knight of the Knights' Hall disregarded the Chambord Expeditionary Army before them, turning their horses and galloping after them. At the very back of the column, the old man with triangular eyes and a goatee paled drastically, staring blankly for a moment, still with an expression of disbelief. He glanced unwillingly at the imposing figure atop North Tower Peak, a chill running through him. Suddenly, he turned and spurred his long-haired, skinny horse, galloping away as if fleeing.
Whoosh--!
A sharp gust of wind from a punch sliced through the sky, whizzing past his ear and hair before striking a six-meter-high boulder beside him. The boulder shattered with a deafening roar, sending dust flying everywhere.
"If anyone dares to incite others to be enemies of my Chambord City again, such a person will be... killed!"
King of Chambord's voice rang in the ears of the sinister old man like a thunderclap. The goatee-bearded old man, Alpha, felt his mind shake violently. He dared not make the slightest excuse, and covered the wound on his ear that had been cut off by the punch in a disheveled state. The wound was covered in blood. He fled in panic, his gray hair flying all over the sky.
Sun Fei stood atop the broken mountain of North Tower Peak, watching the Golden Knight and their party disappear into the horizon.
During their brief exchange, Sun Fei fully experienced the proud personality of this so-called Sun Golden Knight, one of the Ten Judgment Knight of the Knights' Hall. Although his pride bordered on arrogance and was quite annoying, based on the subtle intuition between martial artists, Sun Fei was almost certain that the despicable attacks the expeditionary force had encountered earlier—such as poisoning the water, driving away wolf packs, and the magical explosions in the canyon—were not carried out by this proud knight.
Sun Fei pondered the reasons carefully. When his gaze quickly settled on the old man with the goatee who had stood behind the group of knights, his expression lewd and sinister, he immediately understood. This old man must be some kind of strategist or advisor. Judging from his sinister and lewd appearance, he figured that the previous events were probably orchestrated by this guy behind the scenes. Sun Fei had never liked this kind of cunning and treacherous character who was always scheming behind people's backs. If he hadn't lacked concrete evidence to prove his guess, the goatee-bearded old man would probably be a pile of minced meat by now!
Concealing the fact that his magical armor was nearing its limit and in dire need of repair, Sun Fei straightened his clothes and leaped down from North Tower Peak. Activating his Barbarian skill [ Leap ], he instantly arrived at the foot of the mountain with a few blinks.
"Long live the Emperor!" Overjoyed, the warden Oleg's sycophantic nature resurfaced, and with a raised arm, a resounding compliment slipped out.
This time, however, no one laughed at Oleg.
Because they were all cheering and raising their arms along with this fat, obese man, even the usually silent Petr Čech was no exception. They felt their blood boiling and something about to explode in their chests... It was too amazing, too unbelievable. Before this, all the people of Chambord knew that His King was strong, very strong, but no one expected that he would be this strong, strong enough to directly confront one of the Ten Judgment Knight of the Imperial Knights' Hall.
Woof woof woof... woof woof--yo yo yo--!!!
The Big Black, Black Whirlwind, also joined in the fun, wagging its tail happily and letting out a long, deafening roar as it opened its mouth wide.
" Alexander..."
A melodious, joyful voice, like a nightingale emerging from a valley, drifted from afar. The future princess, Angela, like a beautiful white butterfly fluttering about happily, leaped from the princess's magical carriage, disregarding any ladylike demeanor, and parted the crowd to rush over, jumping into Sun Fei's arms.
The delicate fragrance wafting from his nose, the intoxicating warmth of the soft, fragrant body he held in his arms, filled Sun Fei's heart with tenderness. Even the most hardened man would yearn for a beautiful woman to offer a gentle embrace after a life-or-death duel. Now, feeling the girl's volcanic passion, Sun Fei was moved, but also filled with guilt: he had only thought of his own momentary pleasure; that frenzied, life-or-death duel atop Twin Tower Peaks must have worried her!
Meanwhile, on the magical carriage in the distance, the two women had different expressions.
The blonde little Loli Jima, smiled happily. Although tear tracks still clung to her fair cheeks, seeing Angela and Alexander embracing tightly amidst the cheers of the crowd, this slightly freckled and somewhat stubborn little Loli suddenly felt an unprecedented sense of ease and peace. In her bright eyes, she seemed to see again the arduous scenes of Angela's sacrifices to protect the mentally unstable King, and she seemed to see that beautiful yet frail figure covering the young King, who had kicked off his blankets in the dead of night, again, and then secretly weeping under the dimly lit brazier by the window, praying for the God of War's protection...
The princess's deep, captivating eyes, like the waves of a mesmerizing ocean, noticed a clear handprint crease on the pale purple velvet carpet where Angela had just sat. It was the result of someone unconsciously squeezing it in a moment of extreme tension. Seeing this, a smile appeared on the princess's delicate, slightly thin face. "I thought this little girl was really so confident in her lover, not worried at all. So that's how it is..."
However, the wise and resourceful princess did not realize how difficult it was for a naive young girl to maintain her composure and faith in her beloved under such a tense situation, and how much courage it required!
A short distance away, Soros Merchant Caravan stood there dumbfounded.
The shock they felt was indescribable.
Especially the black-robed supervisor Redknapp, the elegant young woman in red Shirley, and the young swordsman in white beside her, were in disbelief at what they were seeing. Perhaps the people of Chambord City didn't know what this victory meant, but they understood that the King of Chambord had defeated one of the ten Judgment Knight of the Imperial Knights' Hall —the Golden Sun, Chris Sutton. Chris Sutton was a super genius praised throughout the empire, a rising star of the empire's future military, and a top contender for the Imperial Martial Saint. Although Sutton was only 16 years old, and although his experience and qualifications were slightly less than the other nine Judgment Knight, he was still one of the symbols of the empire's elite military power. King of a subordinate vassal state defeating an Arbiter Judgment Knight of the Imperial Knights' Hall was unprecedented since the empire's founding. Only the legendary, elusive " One Sword " could accomplish this, but he had never challenged a Knight of the Knights' Hall...
Simply put, King of Chambord made history.
To put it more complexly, Redknapp was almost certain that the outcome of this confrontation could even affect the escalating struggle for the throne and the future trajectory of the empire.
The situation in the capital is now extremely complex. Emperor Yassin is frail and nearing the end of his life. His two sons, Dominguez and Arshavin, each wield considerable power and have gained the support of many high-ranking officials, aiming for the throne. Their open and covert struggles have reached a fever pitch. However, the inability to secure the support of the Knights' Knights' Hall, the Imperial Martial Saint, and several other highly distinguished individuals remains a thorn in the side of the two Prince. In the Zenit Empire, where military might is paramount, advanced military strength plays a crucial role in the struggle for the throne. At this sensitive moment, the sudden emergence of a young expert comparable to the Knights' Hall's Judgment Knight —what does this mean? It's as if a peerless sword has suddenly appeared, capable of piercing any opponent. Whoever wields this sword will have a greater chance of ascending the supreme imperial throne, a symbol of iron and fire, power and Glory!
Looking at the Twin Tower Peaks, which were almost half destroyed, the black-robed manager was filled with emotion.
He knew perfectly well that after this battle, King of Chambord Alexander's reputation would be firmly established. From then on, within the Zenit Empire, probably no vassal King would dare to challenge King of Chambord's prestige. And within the imperial capital, this news would inevitably spread sooner or later. At that time, King of Chambord would likely become the focus of attention for all the major powers in the capital. As for whether he would become a guest of honor or a thorn in the side, it would depend on which prince this young Prince chose to support.
The twin towers and broken peaks before us will forever bear witness to the terrifying battle that took place here today.
Perhaps it won't be long before a large number of bards gather here to inspire themselves. Perhaps they will indeed create a great many beautiful and magnificent poems and songs, like those praising the heroes who have passed away or are still high above, to Teleport the deeds of King of Chambord and the Sun Golden Knight. These two genius-like youths will one day attract the attention of the entire continent!
