Upon arriving in the city, Sun Fei appeared at the Chambord Administrative Center.
Officials from the Six Ministries and the Prime Minister's Office were all busy. Sun Fei found his father-in -Best, Best, in the Prime Minister's office. The two talked for more than an hour before Sun Fei left. Afterwards, all the officials, big and small, in the administration were urgently summoned by the Prime Minister for a meeting that lasted more than four hours, and then they fell into even busier work.
After leaving the administrative center, Sun Fei rushed to the [ City of Heroes ] in the underground grottoes behind the mountain.
As previously agreed, His King, as the principal, gave the third lecture to the students of the Chambord City Civil and Martial University. This time, due to time constraints, the lecture lasted only one hour. The largest auditorium in the school was packed with people. Even some experts from the military had obtained their auditing passes early and squeezed into the aisles and the back open space to listen to Sun Fei's lecture.
After the lecture, Sun Fei gave a task to one of the professors in charge that day before leaving the floor where the school was located and going to the Military Department headquarters floor, which was higher up on the mountainside.
In the secret conference room of the Military Department, His Majesty the King presided over the kingdom's first formal military conference. Chambord City can now be considered to be full of brilliant generals and fierce warriors, with more than ten Moon Class experts, as well as military talents such as Brook and Old Arjen. In particular, the latter has a mysterious background and his military talent is amazing. Sun Fei has always felt that although they have never competed with each other, Old Arjen's military talent should not be much weaker than the Empire's God of War Arshavin.
The meeting lasted a full four hours.
Sun Fei raised almost all the concerns he had had since leaving, and also subtly mentioned all the trump cards he possessed, until he received perfect answers that guaranteed that if a powerful enemy suddenly descended upon the city, Chambord City could react quickly and not be annihilated by lightning. Only then did he leave the meeting room with peace of mind.
After Sun Fei left, the military conference was continued to be chaired by Old Arjen and Brook.
As usual, Sun Fei and his honest, burly bodyguard Heskey, after disguising themselves slightly, wandered aimlessly through the brightly lit streets. Before leaving, Sun Fei wanted to savor the charm of the city he had built and transformed, a moment of peace and quiet stolen from his busy life.
As the cool evening breeze blew, Sun Fei's mood suddenly lightened. After a busy day, a faint feeling of hunger crept in.
Before they knew it, they had arrived at the Soros Chamber of Commerce's shop in Chambord City.
"Your Majesty, would you like to come in and have a seat?" The big, simple-minded man hesitated and suggested, as if something had occurred to him.
Sun Fei, oblivious to his own foolish bodyguard's expression, found himself involuntarily conjuring up the image of the radiant and powerful Jessica. A sense of relief, though he himself was unaware of it, washed over him. After a moment's thought, he nodded and smiled, "Well, alright then, let's go in and have a seat."
I'm leaving Chambord City tomorrow, so it might be good to go in and take a look.
In retrospect, Jessica was an old friend he had made back in Twin Flag City. Later, the brother and sister followed him all the way to Chambord City. The brother, Heskey, had always been a diligent bodyguard by his side and rarely went back to take care of his sister. It was not easy for Jessica, a lone woman, in this unfamiliar city. He had been too busy lately to visit his old friend, and it was only right and proper for him to say goodbye before leaving.
It was early evening, which should have been a fairly good time of day for the clothing and armor store.
Surprisingly, when Sun Fei and Heskey entered the shop, they were astonished to find that there wasn't a single customer inside. The place was deserted, with only five or six strange-looking waiters huddled together, whispering amongst themselves and looking helpless as they anxiously watched the upstairs. When Sun Fei and his companions entered, no one paid them any attention, creating an unusually strange atmosphere.
Sun Fei frowned slightly.
"Ah, you've finally arrived..." A quick-witted waiter's eyes lit up when he saw the towering Heskey, and he rushed over as if he had met a savior.
Although Heskey rarely comes here, as King Majesty the King's most trusted bodyguard, he has already gained considerable fame in Chambord City. Even the clerks at this clothing, weapons, and armor shop, which belongs to the Soros Chamber of Commerce, already know Heskey's identity. The waiter whispered something anxiously in Heskey's ear and pointed upstairs.
"What's going on?" Sun Fei asked, frowning.
"That bastard dared to bully my sister, he's upstairs, damn it, I'll go up and crush his balls and bring him down..." Heskey said angrily, his voice muffled. He was about to walk upstairs when he got used to Sun Fei's carefree attitude. Sun Fei liked this big, simple-minded guy's honest personality. In addition, he was so angry that he blurted out the curse.
Sun Fei didn't say anything and followed Heskey upstairs.
The Soros Chamber of Commerce is the most prominent merchant guild and financial conglomerate on the Azeroth Continent, a behemoth of immense power. For someone to dare cause trouble here, it's clear that this person is either a madman or someone of extraordinary background, undoubtedly fearless and impervious to reason. It's likely that Heskey alone cannot resolve the problem.
The burly black man, seething with rage, had just reached the top of the stairs when he heard a loud, menacing voice from above. "Heh, I didn't expect this little Zenit branch to actually have some damn brave souls daring to come upstairs? Disrupting my fun, Chek, don't let him come up, kill him!"
As soon as he finished speaking, another person responded, followed by an extremely sharp blade of light that slashed towards Heskey's face.
This strike was extremely vicious, demonstrating at least Eight-Star Class of Dou Qi cultivation. It was a full-force attack, brimming with killing intent, and incredibly fast, showing absolutely no mercy.
Although Heskey had been by Sun Fei's side for some time, he wasn't particularly talented and was rather dull-witted. Unlike Drogba and Pierce, who were rough on the outside but refined on the inside, he had no potential in cultivating Dou Qi. Even though he had been transformed by the [ Hulk Potion ], he was only at the Two-Star Class Dou Qi cultivation level and could hardly withstand this attack.
Then a frantic scream came from above; it was Jessica's voice.
Sun Fei was slightly startled. There were only a handful of experts in Chambord City who had reached the Eight-Star Class. Who on earth was causing trouble upstairs? He couldn't discern anything from the sound. He remained silent, exhaled a breath of fresh air, and quietly dispersed the wisp of sword light. Then he nudged the slightly dazed Heskey, and the two of them quickly walked upstairs.
