  • Tang Wang appeared in the meeting hall and challenged La Signora’s claim, then Columbina asked whether Rosalyne was really a bad person.

Ch. 43Clearing Obstacles Within and Without (Final)

Tang Wang used Columbina’s arrival to pressure La Signora into ending the Fatui’s cooperation with the Abyss Order and interference in Mondstadt. La Signora left after accepting a sword for Odette, while Tang Wang turned back to Jean and the search for the Abyss Lector.

Ch. 44The Connection Between Hearts

  • Tang Wang asked Albedo about his artifacts, reacted to his Blizzard Strayer Set, and produced Noblesse Oblige and Crimson Witch sets for Yaya and Nana.

Ch. 46Like Furious Lightning and Thunder in the Courtyard (Part 2)

The elite squad launched a coordinated assault on the Electro Abyss Lector, using Columbina’s Lunar Reactions to weaken its Abyssal power and Ronava’s firebird to deal a devastating finishing blow. Albedo then spotted golden light flowing from the charred remains and warned everyone that the fight was not over.

  • Ronava examined the Artifacts while Albedo explained their connection to Human Realm Power, and Tang Wang stopped Ronava from revealing a secret about Columbina.

  • Columbina’s Lunar-Charged reaction, Albedo’s Lunar Cage, and the squad’s coordinated attacks staggered the Lector, allowing Ronava to strike it with a firebird.
  • Albedo noticed golden light flowing from the Lector’s charred remains and warned everyone to stay on guard.

Ch. 47Lightning and Thunder in the Courtyard (Part Two)

The Abyss Lector unleashed the power of the Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds, threatening the group as lightning spread across Windrise and erased the wind. With Venti’s song lifting them into the air, Columbina, Albedo, Linaya, Lumi, and Tang Wang combined their powers to break the Lector’s shield and kill him.

  • The Abyss Lector’s lightning blast wounded Albedo and ravaged Windrise, while the group discovered that the wind had vanished.

Ch. 49The "Time" of Transgression (II)

Kang Jie completed his transcendence and used his new power to destroy the Abyss Order’s monster army, insisting he was saving Mondstadt even as Linaya, Ronava, and Columbina challenged his resolve. The crisis ended in seconds, but Tang Wang realized Kang Jie had taken the power of his Epitome Invocation and wondered how to get it back.

  • Tang Wang recognized that Kang Jie’s power came from his Epitome Invocation and wondered how he could reclaim it.

Ch. 50The "Time" of Transgression (Part 2)

  • Tang Wang recognized Kang Jie as the source of the weapons and learned that the Shadow Domain held weapons created through Epitome Invocation.
  • Kang Jie froze all of Mondstadt in a timeless snow globe, causing all life there to vanish and transporting the others into the created space.

  • Columbina sensed warmth from Tang Wang, who concluded that Epitome Invocation's power remained with him and had helped form the realm.
  • Tang Wang planned to read Before Sun and Moon to test whether the space was independent, but Ronava stopped him and Albedo offered a recording device instead.
  • Jean sent people to investigate Mondstadt City.

Ch. 51Logic Above Logic

Kang Jie tested whether One-Day Mondstadt could be detected by Celestia, drawing the Ruler of Death, Rerir, into a battle over the space. After Rosalyne escaped into the real Mondstadt, Rerir was left wounded and briefly stripped of the Power of Death.

  • Kang Jie watched One-Day Mondstadt reset in wind and snow and explained that it could be grafted onto reality only if the real Mondstadt was destroyed.
  • Albedo played Before Sun and Moon inside One-Day Mondstadt, prompting Rerir to investigate the taboo-breaking sound in the desolate real Mondstadt.
  • Rerir revealed that he had taken the place of the missing Tholindis and declared he would pronounce death upon One-Day Mondstadt, so Kang Jie and Rerir prepared to fight.
  • Tang Wang and Albedo stopped the playback, while Ronava, Tang Wang, and Albedo debated whether the Four Shades had intervened and failed to defeat Kang Jie.
  • Rosalyne demanded to leave One-Day Mondstadt, and Tang Wang used a Shadow Domain to return her to the real Mondstadt.
  • Kang Jie defeated Rerir's power of death temporarily, leaving Rerir coughing blood as he acknowledged Kang Jie's Logic Above Logic.

Ch. 52A Variable from Beyond the World (Beginning)

  • Kang Jie used his authority over time to learn Rosalyne’s past and told her that the Anemo Archon had not caused her lover’s death.
  • Albedo, Columbina, Ronava, Danika, and Linaya investigated One-Day Mondstadt and found that its terrain and power matched reality, time moved faster, and Linaya could no longer see the future clearly.
  • Kang Jie told Rosalyne she would die in Inazuma by the Raiden Shogun’s blade, extinguished her flames, and sent her flying toward Snezhnaya.
  • Venti appeared before Kang Jie, who explained that he had let Mondstadt die inside a frozen realm to preserve it from its destined destruction.
  • Venti questioned whether Kang Jie’s vision of the future had to come true, pointing out that a Descender had arrived and Kang Jie held part of a Descender’s status.

Ch. 53The Variable Beyond the World (End)

Kang Jie believed Mondstadt’s future was doomed to darkness, but Venti challenged him to look for a fate beyond his predictions. When Tang Wang sang Columbina’s familiar melody with lyrics unknown to anyone in Teyvat, Kang Jie accepted that hope and a turning point might exist.

  • Kang Jie explained that he valued Mondstadt’s survival above all else and said the Abyss had shown him the future actions of its people.
  • Venti pointed Kang Jie toward the elite squad in One-Day Mondstadt and argued that its future remained uncertain.
  • At the Goth Grand Hotel, Columbina asked Tang Wang to sing while Ronava helped her get ready for bed.
  • Tang Wang sang a new song in the ancient language of Liyue to the melody Columbina hummed.
  • Kang Jie admitted he had not foreseen the song, and his despair gave way to ease.

Ch. 54Epitome Invocation: Time (The End)

  • Eula killed Kang Jie, whose body dissolved into light as a dragon’s silhouette crossed the sky and the Mondstadt crisis ended.
  • Jean posthumously named Kang Jie an Honorary Knight after the Knights confirmed he had caused no casualties.
  • Venti told Tang Wang and Albedo that their first stop was over and urged Tang Wang to test his regained ability.
