The Unforgiven from Shinigami
Bankai is the captain's identifier.
Some Seated Officer and soldiers even believed that as long as they learned the Bankai, they could become the captain of the Gotei 13.
Rangiku Matsumoto had heard people talk about Bankai more than once, but she had never seen the captain unleash Bankai with her own eyes.
Upon hearing that Shiraishi wanted to use it, she couldn't deny her curiosity, but thinking of the serious consequences, she quickly grabbed Yachiru Kusajishi's shoulder and Shunpo to move away.
Shiraishi raised his knife, " Bankai, the Ignorance: Crimson Lotus Hellfire."
The summer heat faded, but a chill seeped in from behind, as if trying to penetrate one's soul and freeze it.
Rangiku Matsumoto couldn't help but glance back. Her dark Reiatsu swirled a few times in a violent whirlwind before dissipating.
No, I can still see people.
She continued to use Shunpo to dodge, keeping in mind the words about hiding out of sight.
Shiraishi sensed that Rangiku Matsumoto's Reiatsu had receded, and his worries subsided, causing the orange flames in his eyes to flicker.
A tall figure appeared, enveloped in golden Reiatsu, his demonic face filled with excitement, "Haha!"
Amidst the maniacal laughter, the blade slashed down.
Shiraishi parried with a knife held in one hand.
The blades clashed, and all was quiet. Before the sound could be heard, his dark-covered left hand thrust straight forward.
I can feel the temperature and hardness of the blood in Kenpachi Zaraki's abdomen with my fingertips.
The internal organs are as if they were made of steel, incredibly hard.
No wonder he was able to unleash such formidable fighting power despite being so severely injured.
Reiatsu was pressing down on his left hand from all directions.
Shiraishi withdrew his left hand, causing a spray of blood to appear.
"Ugh." Blood gushed from the corner of Kenpachi Zaraki's mouth. His unstable Reiatsu made him unable to withstand Shiraishi's Reiatsu, and he was forcibly forced back.
Bang!
With a deafening roar, Kenpachi Zaraki, without leaving the ground, was forced back dozens of meters.
Shiraishi didn't give chase. He looked down at his blood-stained hands. What was that feeling like?
A warm sensation surged from my fingertips to my heart and mind; for the first time, I found a feeling of exhilaration in battle.
A smile involuntarily appeared on his face.
"Haha, that's so great! You feel the same way, right?"
Kenpachi Zaraki laughed loudly, completely disregarding whether he was seriously injured or not, and without any thought that he would definitely not die.
On the contrary, in his mind, his current state might be what people often call a "last gasp before death."
His shoulders, chest, and abdomen were severely damaged, yet his Reiatsu continued to surge from within him, meeting the criteria for a final burst of energy before death.
Even so, Kenpachi Zaraki was deeply immersed in the joy of battle and wanted to fully enjoy every second of the moment.
die?
That's just a price to pay; there's no need to be stingy with it.
Of course, the longer it can be delayed, the better.
Kenpachi Zaraki pushed off with his feet and continued charging forward, his eyes fixed on the approaching blade, which gleamed with an orange light as if covered by flames.
Upon closer inspection, one will find that it is pure light, without any flame.
The gleaming blade pierced his nose. In that instant, Kenpachi Zaraki, relying on instinct, skillfully changed his direction, allowing the blade to slice across half his face instead of piercing it completely.
The person rushed up to the Shiraishi and could vaguely see their own reflection in the orange flames.
He grinned, Zanpakuto suddenly pierced Shiraishi's face.
Clang, sizzle, Shiraishi flew from the tip of the blade. Shiroshi transformed into the form of the Nightbringer, his Hierro even harder than the ethereal steel skin. He felt no pain, only a slight itch.
Shiraishi smiled.
The murderous intent that arose from agitation began to transform again, like the first runner in a marathon nearing the finish line, his body and mind entering a state of heightened excitement.
He suddenly reached forward with his left hand.
Kenpachi Zaraki leaped backward to avoid the hand that was meant to rip out his heart. A bright orange light shone forth, followed by a surge of flames that transformed into blades and attacked.
It's very dangerous.
Instinct is the warning signal.
"Interesting." Kenpachi Zaraki raised his hand and slashed down high, the golden slash splitting the flames in two.
Shiraishi circled around the flames to the left and thrust his blade straight at the back of the head, orange flames swirling around the blade.
Kenpachi Zaraki seemed to have an eye on the back of his head. He spun around and swung his sword, striking the blade wreathed in flames.
The flames exploded.
He leaped backward again, soaring onto a high hill to avoid the raging flames, and looked up at the sky.
From this vantage point, most of the sky, including the sun, is obscured by dust.
"This is really enjoyable."
Kenpachi Zaraki expressed his thoughts, his gaze fixed on the man surrounded by flames below, "That's enough. Let's decide the outcome with the next strike."
"Um."
Shiraishi did not refuse. The consumption of Reiatsu by the Nightbringer was extraordinary. He raised his sword, and karmic fire swirled back from the surrounding area.
The orange light of the blade deepened, like crystal-clear amber, yet a faint flame remained on its surface.
He compressed the karmic fire with his own Reiatsu, forming this faint essence.
The raging flames that erupted at the moment the blades clashed were absolutely impossible for Kenpachi Zaraki to dodge.
In his heightened state of excitement, he didn't even consider what the future plot would look like if he killed Kenpachi Zaraki.
I simply wanted to defeat the opponent.
Kenpachi Zaraki recalls the sword techniques taught by the Old Man Yama, Su Zhen.
If I had learned more, I might be able to play even more enjoyably now.
pity.
He felt a rare moment of annoyance, which was quickly dispelled. He leaped down from the height, holding the knife above his head with both hands.
Shiraishi met the attack with Steel Tempest, swinging his sword.
Stop it!
!"
With a powerful roar, a burst of electricity flashed from afar, blocking the path between the two.
Shiraishi stopped.
Kenpachi Zaraki also forced himself to land on the ground.
They both recognized the voice—or, to put it more bluntly, they recognized the other's Reiatsu.
The lightning from the Hadō #88, Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō, dissipated.
Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, wearing Captain's Haori, stood between the two, his face ashen, his eyes sweeping over the left and right as he said, "The captains of the Gotei 13 are fighting amongst themselves outside."
If this gets out, you'll all lose face for the captain!
"It's not my fault. It was Zaraki who wanted to spar, so I fought him."
Knowing he couldn't continue, Shiraishi deactivated the Bankai, and the dark particles slowly dissipated, revealing his original appearance.
" Zaraki!"
Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto's eyes swept over them, his white beard trembling. "I remember you were supposed to be on a mission in the East Rukongai District 31. Why are you here?"
Kenpachi Zaraki instinctively avoided the other's gaze and said, "That mission was too boring, so I wanted to spar with Shiraishi."
"Outrageous! How could the captain of the 11th Division do something so irresponsible?"
Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto shouted, slamming his cane into the ground. His white eyebrows shot up, and his fiery Reiatsu scorched the two of them. "Are you ready to accept your punishment?"
"Hmm." Kenpachi Zaraki looked unconvinced, but he still admitted it verbally.
