The Unforgiven from Shinigami
Time flies, and it's already October, the golden autumn month.
The maple leaves in the courtyard swayed red.
After 5 p. m., the Prime Minister left the grand official residence and headed towards his own residence.
Rumors about this mansion were numerous, but the newly enthroned Hosokawa Ma paid them no heed.
He was just a puppet.
Luxury homes are something you can own, but official residences are a different story; once you miss the boat, you'll never have another chance.
His only strong measure upon taking office was to clean up this cursed land that his predecessors had feared.
The internal facilities were thoroughly repaired to prevent the tap water from turning out a blood-red color mixed with rust every time it was turned on.
He was genuinely startled at first; was this the Prime Minister's official residence?
The annual management fee of 160 million is unclear, but it's unclear which government residence it manages; it's certainly not this one.
Despite his thoughts, he still had no intention of investigating the whereabouts of the annual management fees.
The opposition party has just been robbed; if they mess with their people again, they might be implicated in some scandal.
He advocates for dismantling corruption between the political and industrial sectors, reforming existing systems, and respecting the constitution.
In reality, there are seven political parties involved.
Making decisions that are thankless and difficult is like a ball being kicked around; in the end, it becomes a matter for the next cabinet.
This left Hosokawa Ma with nothing to do but talk about it on TV, unable to actually implement what he wanted to do.
Adhering to a "what's the use" principle, he began to go to work and leave work on time, just waiting for his term to end so he could retire, live in a mansion, and pursue his personal art.
I'd rather not be prime minister.
"Sigh." Hosokawa Ma sighed and slowly returned to the Prime Minister's residence. A woman with a hint of her former charm walked into the Western-style hall. "Darling, guess who's coming today?"
"Who is it?" Hosokawa Ma looked somewhat surprised, as it was rare for visitors to come to his door directly.
You'll see when you get here.
Kayoko blinked. Her good family background and environment allowed her to retain some of her girlish innocence. She took her husband's hand and walked towards the living room.
I opened the door, and there were strangers inside.
"Look, Ginjo, Tazawa, and Tsukishima are here."
Kayoko beamed, even happier than when she saw her family.
Hosokawa Ma looked completely bewildered. Who were these people?
Just as he was wondering what was going on, a knife suddenly pierced his chest.
Seeing this, Kayoko wasn't alarmed. Instead, she laughed and said, " Tsukishima, you're being naughty again."
"I'm sorry, Kayoko, I just wanted to scare Uncle."
Shūkurō Tsukishima drew his sword, which transformed into a bookmark in his palm. He then placed it back into the book in his hand. "Uncle, it's been a long time."
Hosokawa Ma suddenly understood, like someone realizing they are dreaming; that instant of enlightenment made the world seem hazy.
" Kayoko, you can go now. I have something to discuss with them."
"Yes, yes, please be sure to stay for dinner later."
Kayoko said something and obediently left.
The moment the door closed, Hosokawa Ma knelt on one knee and said, " Ginjo, Tazawa, Tsukishima, I was truly rude just now."
These three are Fullbringer, the true rulers, his benefactors, and immortal beings whom he regards as fathers.

Shūkurō Tsukishima stepped forward, bowed, and said, " Hosokawa, I have something I want to ask you. Do you know which research institute the captured Fullbringer is in?"
Hosokawa Ma lowered his head and said, "I'm sorry, I'm not very clear on this. The current cabinet is full of factions, and sometimes I only find out about new policies from the news."
Shūkurō Tsukishima was slightly taken aback. He wasn't very clear about the situation in the country, but he simply assumed that the Prime Minister would have all the information.
In the end, he was just a puppet of Paper Lake.
Who has the most power in the cabinet?
Shūkurō Tsukishima asked a question.
Hosokawa Ma replied, "Secretary-General Ozawa Taro and Chief Cabinet Secretary Takeda Masayoshi have the greatest power."
"You should have the authority to summon them here, shouldn't you?"
Hosokawa Ma bowed his head and said, "Yes, I will immediately invite them over with urgent business."
"Go down."
"Yes." Hosokawa Ma, left the reception room, and closed the door.
Shūkurō Tsukishima turned around and said, "It seems we'll have to wait a little longer."
"It's alright, we have plenty of time to wait."
The man with slicked-back hair leaned back, crossed his legs, and said, "No wonder this is the Prime Minister's residence; it's truly impressive."
"If you've ever seen a tycoon's mansion, you'll know how shabby this place is; they don't even have a decent cup of black tea."
The middle-aged man wearing an eye mask muttered a complaint and pushed the black tea aside with a look of disdain.
Haha, don't be so demanding.
Kūgo Ginjō let out a hearty laugh, picked up his cup of red tea, took a sip, and said, "I don't know what the Shinigami and Hollows have been up to lately, fighting every day. It seems they can't spare any attention for us."
"This is a perfect opportunity to take control of the entire country, gather together the Fullbringer, and expand our power."
Kiriko Tazawa shook her head and said, "Don't overestimate the feelings of those politicians. They'll even betray their own fathers for the sake of climbing the ladder."
Shūkurō Tsukishima flipped through the pages of the Republic and said calmly, "Don't worry, I'm not so naive as to think I can control them with past favors, insert them into their memories, including the vast organization behind them and the fabricated three hundred years of behind-the-scenes rule."
Therefore, reading frequently has its benefits; it helps to avoid obvious flaws when creating stories.
A knock sounded at the door. Shūkurō Tsukishima got up from his seat, pulled out a bookmark, and it transformed into a sharp knife.
Kūgo Ginjō called out, "Come in."
The door opened, Hosokawa Ma led two middle-aged men into the reception room.
" Hosokawa, I thought you were going to meet some important person, but it's just a brat and a blind man."
The slightly overweight middle-aged man cried out, ignoring the door slamming shut behind him, until a knife pierced his chest, at which point his eyes widened, "You?!"
The other man, terrified, backed away, shouting, " Hosokawa, let's talk this out!"
This method of assassination is so hardcore that it's hard to imagine it happening in Japan.
Shūkurō Tsukishima drew his sword, flashed behind the man, and stabbed him as well.
It was pulled out, and not a drop of blood came out.
Just like Hosokawa Ma before them, the two knelt down in unison. " Ginjo, Lord Tazawa, Tsukishima, it's been a long time. What has happened to warrant the presence of the three of you?"
Shūkurō Tsukishima transformed his sword back into a bookmark and said, "Recently, someone has restarted the research project on Fullbringer, and I heard they even captured one person. Where is the research institute?"
The slightly overweight man said, "Please wait a moment, I need to call and ask the people downstairs."
"Well, it would be best if you could give us a satisfactory answer."
Shūkurō Tsukishima spoke softly.
Cold sweat broke out on their foreheads. They hurriedly started making phone calls, dialing six or seven times before finally getting any news.
