The hyenas, however, were patient. They circled the group, searching for the weakest point.
At last, the hyenas found their targets.
They avoided Zhao Wuji and attacked the two support-type Soul Masters, Ning Rongrong and Oscar.
Hyenas pounced one after another, while their leader hid among the pack, waiting for an opportunity to strike.
"Teacher Zhao, help!"
Oscar and Ning Rongrong hurriedly cried for help.
Zhao Wuji hesitated.
Oscar was a student the academy had trained for a long time, while Ning Rongrong was the little princess of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. Neither could be allowed to come to harm.
In the space of an instant, he made his decision.
"I'll protect Rongrong. Mubai, Zhu Zhuqing, Fatty, you three protect Xiao Ao. I'll come to your aid in time!"

Oscar, Dai Mubai, and the others were pinned face down, yet none dared utter a word of complaint.
"Useless trash!"
Tang Hao roared, fury burning within him.
Without looking back, he sped deeper into the forest, leaving them with a chilling threat.
"If anything happens to Xiao San, don't any of you expect to live!"
"Tang San is actually Clear Sky Douluo's son!"
Dai Mubai's expression turned grim.
Tang Hao's threat filled him with fear. If he weren't in the Star Dou Great Forest right now, he would already be looking to run.
"Teacher Zhao, what do we do? Nothing will happen to Xiao San, right?"
Oscar trembled.
Ning Rongrong's eyes darted around, and she patted her chest. "If you're willing to join our Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, I can guarantee your safety."
"Rongrong!" Oscar's eyes filled with tears.
Ma Hongjun hurriedly put on a smile. "Young Miss Ning, I'm willing to join the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect! I never meant to bully you before. The dean and Boss Dai put me up to it!"
"Fatty, what do you mean by that?!"
Anger flared in Dai Mubai's wicked eyes as he glared coldly at Ma Hongjun.
Ning Rongrong gave no indication either way, but a flicker of contempt passed through her heart.
"Enough, stop arguing. Our trouble's back!"
Zhao Wuji spoke in a muffled voice, cutting their argument short.
They looked up and saw that the hyenas that had scattered were closing in on them again.
Their faces turned pale once more.
Zhao Wuji's expression was grim.
Damn it, Tang Hao just left like that! He even made my injuries worse!

Ning Rongrong hurriedly pressed her back against Zhu Zhuqing's and pulled her over to Zhao Wuji's side.
At the sight, Ma Hongjun went weak all over and froze on the spot.
A hyena leader lying in wait finally got his chance.
