Background / History

Transmigration and Escape

Before becoming Huo Yuhao, he lived in another world and had just earned enough money to anticipate a comfortable life. He died when a truck inexplicably struck him inside his eighteenth-floor home. Familiar with the Douluo Continent story, he subsequently transmigrated into Huo Yuhao during the Peerless Tang Sect era 1.

He endured bullying at the White Tiger Duke’s Mansion before escaping with his mother, Huo Yun’er. He later encountered the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm and Electrolux. Although he initially expected these advantages to secure his future, he abruptly found himself in another body 1.

Taking Qian Renxue’s Place

Huo Yuhao first mistakes his new circumstances for another transmigration. Disabling an active Head Soul Bone disguise reveals Qian Renxue’s appearance and Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul. Her bone age lets him place himself roughly ten thousand years before his own era, around the time Tang San enters Shrek Academy 1.

Determined to avoid Qian Renxue’s original defeat, he makes becoming a god his long-term objective. He also hopes that reconstructing a divine body could restore his male form. His knowledge of the story makes him wary of Tang San, the Asura God, and the Sea God’s possible interference 1.

Accelerating the Heaven Dou Takeover

Rather than continue Qian Renxue’s prolonged infiltration, Huo Yuhao intends to take control of the Heaven Dou Empire within a year. He seeks additional forces from Bibi Dong and Qian Daoliu, using threats to abandon the mission or complain before the Angel God’s statue to secure their attention 5 7.

He turns a proposed crown-prince marriage toward Dugu Yan, aiming to undermine Prince Xue Xing’s reliance on Dugu Bo. At Heaven Dou Royal Academy, he welcomes the possibility that conflict over Yu Tianheng will divide the empire from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. He also arranges arena-training deployments as part of a plan to send Xue Beng to Suotuo City, where he intends the prince’s death to trigger a wider political crisis. The supplied events establish the plan, not its completion 6 15.

Spirit Hall sends five additional Titled Douluo, bringing his available protection to seven. Golden Crocodile Douluo leads the reinforcements and later blocks Dugu Bo’s attack. Huo Yuhao pressures Dugu Bo to join Spirit Hall and pledge loyalty, offering treatment for both his poisoning and his granddaughter’s condition 17 18 19.

Immortal Herbs and the First Return

At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, Huo Yuhao strengthens Qian Renxue’s body, reaches level sixty, and awakens a Spiritual Domain. He distributes Immortal Herbs among his followers and arranges treatment for Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan rather than using their poisoning as an indefinite restraint 20 21.

A mysterious notification then announces that his fateful connection with Qian Renxue has reached 10%. It grants a copy of Six-Winged Angel origin and permission to carry one nonsentient item per swap. Huo Yuhao selects the storage Soul Tool holding the harvested herbs before returning to his original body 22.

Confronting Tang San and Shrek

Back in his own body, Huo Yuhao discovers a suppressed strand of Tang San’s Divine Sense in his Sea of Consciousness. He conceals his hostility and demands proof of Tang San’s identity, extracting the Tang Sect Secret Arts without agreeing to join the sect. Their conversation also alerts him to possible dangers associated with Shrek’s Golden Ancient Tree and the Clear Sky Sect’s Sea Sky Pavilion 23 24.

He decides against returning to Shrek and considers seeking protection from the Soul Beast Clan instead. When Yan Shaozhe coerces him into a meeting and pressures him to resume his studies, Huo Yuhao refuses and calls on Electrolux. Electrolux dispels the pressure, forcing Shrek to negotiate rather than compel his enrollment 26 27 28.

Huo Yuhao subsequently offers to purify Ma Xiaotao’s Evil Fire for 100,000 Gold Soul Coins per treatment and access to Shrek’s Martial Soul research. Mu En accepts both conditions, including copying restricted materials so Huo Yuhao need not enter the inner court. The first purification raises Huo Yuhao to rank twenty-seven 29 32.

He later explains the body swaps to Jiang Nannan, both to resolve the hurt caused by Qian Renxue’s behavior in his body and to give Qian Renxue a trusted person to consult during future exchanges 34.

Appearance

• Original body: A boy of approximately eleven or twelve, described as reasonably good-looking rather than exceptionally handsome. His eyes become dazzling gold after integrating the copied angel essence 2 23 31.
• Qian Renxue’s body: Long golden hair, golden eyes, fair skin, and a tall figure. Although approximately twenty-one by bone age, she appears eighteen or nineteen 1.
• Xue Qinghe disguise: A handsome, somewhat feminine male appearance with golden hair. The apparent swan Martial Soul is also part of the disguise 1.
• Martial Soul manifestations: His transformed Spirit Eyes appear as an ancient-gold pair of eyes. Qian Renxue’s unveiled angel form has sacred feathered wings and a golden crown 1 3.

Personality

Huo Yuhao’s original ambition is to enjoy a comfortable life, but repeated disruptions make him determined to control his own future. He is irreverent, sarcastic, and openly critical of decisions he considers foolish, including Qian Renxue’s handling of Tang San and Shrek’s insistence on institutional prestige 1 4 27.

He combines ruthlessness toward opponents with deliberate generosity toward allies. He plans Xue Beng’s death and openly threatens Dugu Bo, yet objects to Xue Beng’s abuse of commoners and rewards useful subordinates with herbs and promises of suitable Soul Bones. Snake Lance Douluo notices that he is warmer and more inclusive than Qian Renxue had been 5 15 19 21.

His confidence does not prevent caution. He refuses to practice Tang San’s teachings without first planning to have Electrolux modify them, avoids suspected divine traps, and seeks protection rather than assuming his talent makes him safe. He also values accumulated knowledge, regarding Shrek’s research as worth obtaining even after rejecting membership 24 26 29.
