Frank D'Amico, the owner of the building, sat behind his desk with one hand gripping a pistol tightly, his eyes fixed on the door. Any sound from outside was enough to set the Drug Lord on edge.

Frank had stationed at least twenty gunmen outside, each armed with a Remington shotgun. If that bastard dared show himself, the savage firepower would be enough to tear him to pieces.

The West Coast Drug Lord kept reassuring himself. Even if the man who had invaded his territory was a battle-hardened mercenary, under the pressure of overwhelming numbers and ferocious firepower, he could only meet a miserable end.

"Romm, what's the situation outside?"

Frank asked, his voice slightly dry. If the intruder really managed to break through the powerful firepower outside, he had another big surprise waiting for him.

"It's chaotic. There seems to be more than one intruder. Someone cut off the power to the entire building just now... but the top floor uses a separate power supply, so there won't be any problems."

The burly man guarding the door answered. He was an enforcer carefully trained by Frank, a man who had once achieved ten consecutive victories in underground fighting rings and had always been one of Frank's trump cards.

"Accomplices too? Don't let me find out who that bastard really is, or I'll make him understand what it means to lose everything!"

A vicious gleam flashed in Frank's eyes, making his sinister face seem even more terrifying. As a Gang Boss who had dominated the West Coast for years, this was the first time anyone had driven him into such a corner.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Intense gunfire suddenly erupted outside. Frank instinctively raised his pistol and aimed at the door, tense. He had not expected the intruder to rush up so quickly. Nearly fifty gunmen downstairs had actually failed to stop the assault!

Screams and furious gunfire blended together. Bullets flew through the confined space, weaving a dense net. Hiding behind a pillar, former police officer Damon had never expected Frank D'Amico to have deployed such overwhelming firepower. The devastating shotguns fired in unison, booming like thunder and producing deafening blasts.

Damon crouched behind the pillar as the shotguns blasted splinters from the wood. The gunmen formed an encirclement and closed in step by step. The moment he showed his head, he would be blown into a pile of mush!

The petite Mindy hid atop the elevator. Damon made a tactical hand signal to his daughter, then suddenly rushed out, firing both pistols at once and taking two lives in an instant. At the same time, a small purple figure dropped from above the elevator. Several throwing darts struck the gunmen's wrists, followed by a nimble roll. In an instant, the innocent and adorable little girl transformed into a violent, formidable weapon of slaughter!

Darts kept flying from her waist, while the butterfly knife in her hand traced cold arcs through the air. The top floor instantly became a bloody Asura field. The little girl, skilled in cold weapons, worked with her father's precise gunfire, and for a time, they were unstoppable!

"Romm, go out and check what's happening."

The fierce battle had lasted nearly ten minutes. As the gunfire outside grew increasingly scattered, Frank began to feel uneasy.

The muscular, burly man opened the door, and a purple-haired little girl pounced at him. As a terrifying man who had fought desperately in underground rings, Romm did not panic. He threw a heavy backhand punch and sent the young girl flying.

"Frank D'Amico!"

Damon caught sight of his enemy's face, and rage boiled in his chest. If Romm had not been blocking his way, he would have rushed over without hesitation and shown this West Coast Drug Lord what pain and torment truly meant!

"Wasn't the intruder supposed to be a young man?" Frank was baffled when he saw the large and small figures outside.

"Romm, kill them!"

"Yes, Boss!"

Romm rolled his neck and strode toward Damon, only to be blocked by the little girl, who had gotten back to her feet. She waved her exquisite, razor-sharp butterfly knife. Mindy, who had endured brutal training, might not have possessed great strength, but she had agile movements and reflexes far beyond ordinary people.

Seeing that his daughter had temporarily tied up the burly man, Damon strode into the room and knocked Frank's pistol away with the tactical knife he wore. This former police officer, consumed by revenge, had waited years and had finally gotten his chance!

"Frank D'Amico, I'm here to send you to hell!"

"You're the one who's been ruining my business and sending my men to the police station?" Frank feigned calm as his injured hand quietly moved beneath the desk.

"Of course. Shooting you dead would be too easy. I'm going to destroy your empire, just as you destroyed my life and my family!"

Deep, bone-chilling hatred filled Damon's eyes. He had once been a police officer, but Frank had forced him into becoming a criminal. His wife had overdosed on pills and killed herself. His family had been utterly destroyed.

"Oh, I remember now. You're the cop I sent to prison."

Frank finally remembered who he was. Back then, a police officer had set his sights on him, so he bribed insiders at the police department and fabricated evidence to send the guy behind bars.

"Actually, we can talk this over. After all, that was all in the past..."

"There's nothing to talk about, Frank D'Amico. It's all over!" Damon charged forward, ready to kill the enemy he had hated his entire life.

"Yes. It's all over."

Frank kicked the heavy desk aside. Damon twisted to the side, dodging the massive object that came crashing at him out of nowhere. Just as he prepared to step forward, a black muzzle pointed straight at him.

Ding.

The elevator finally arrived at the top floor. Sean stared wide-eyed at the corpses covering the ground, the scattered bullets, and the burly man locked in a fierce fight with a little girl...

What was going on? Was someone else trying to take out Frank D'Amico?

This West Coast Drug Lord sure had plenty of enemies. Sean muttered silently. Just as he was hesitating over whom to help, a tremendous explosion thundered through the top floor. The surging force of the blast, like a tidal wave, destroyed every ceiling light and fixture. The bright floor-to-ceiling windows shattered, while splinters flew from the bookshelves on either side and scraps of paper drifted through the air.

Sean was dumbfounded again as he stared at Frank D'Amico holding a rocket launcher on his shoulder and the half-dead middle-aged man sprawled on the floor. It felt as though he had altered some normally running timeline.

After a brief daze, Sean raised his hand and fired several shots, hitting Frank's hands and legs. He had actually brought out a rocket launcher. That was just excessive!

And, in the humanitarian spirit of helping others, Sean shot and killed the burly man as well. After all, the little girl was so cute.

Sean strolled unhurriedly over to Frank, removed his motorcycle helmet, and revealed his young face. "Mr. Frank D'Amico, I told you I would come visit you personally."

The West Coast Drug Lord glared furiously. The real intruder was actually a student-looking young man?!

"Who are you?" Frank asked through the pain.

"Considering the rather complicated grudge between us, I won't say much. Just blame that bastard who liked extorting high school students for no reason. Even gangs need standards when recruiting people." Sean pressed his gun to Frank's head, his tone gentle and friendly.

"Goodbye."

Ignoring Frank D'Amico as the light gradually faded from his eyes, Sean turned to the little girl, who was clutching the middle-aged man and sobbing. Suddenly, he had a headache. Should he leave her behind or not?

Hearing police sirens approaching from below, the young man had no choice but to walk over to the purple-haired little girl and say with complete sincerity, "Um... want to run away together?"
