With a bang and a rush of wind, Iron Fist arrived instantly, smashing into Sean's shoulder like a battering ram. The surging power, like a raging tide, sent the young man, who had been unstoppable since his appearance, flying through the air. His tall frame crashed through the antique carved wooden door, falling heavily into the shadows.
Danny Rand was also surprised by the fierce blow. Although he had received the title of "Immortal Iron Fist" from the guardian of K'un-Lun, he was actually living up to the name. He couldn't skillfully control the "Chi" within him, so he hadn't been able to help in the previous fight.
Disbelief flashed in Jessica's eyes. She hadn't expected this seemingly reckless young man to deliver such a powerful punch out of nowhere. If it weren't for this guy's help, it wouldn't have been easy for her to defeat Sean on her own.
"Let's finish him off while we have the chance!" The Punisher, hidden nearby, waited for his moment. As a former soldier, Frank was always good at seizing the right opportunity.
The Punisher darted into the shadows like a swift leopard. He knew how terrifying Sean was. If they couldn't finish him off in one go, they would be the ones in trouble.
"I think he's too nervous," Danny Rand shrugged. He didn't think the man who suddenly appeared could get up immediately after taking such a heavy punch.
Shaking his clenched fist, Danny Rand looked confident. Even though Sean had shown strong defense in the previous battle, the guardian from K'un-Lun had absolute faith in his Iron Fist. Even a body as hard as steel would be pierced by his full-power blow!
This was the power of "Chi" inherited from K'un-Lun. Once mobilized, it was like a trump card, invincible.
"He's a true warrior," Jessica flicked her messy black hair. Who would have thought that Hell's Kitchen's most powerful street hero would almost be wiped out by that man tonight?
Danny Rand glanced at Daredevil, who was lying on the ground, unconscious, then turned to look at Luke Cage, who had been thrown out the window. He said helplessly, "I think we need to call an ambulance, maybe more than one. That guy, after I hit him, probably won't be able to use cutlery for the rest of his life."
"Oh, looks like I'm going to disappoint you."
A low voice, tinged with a hint of amusement, came from the shadows as Sean slowly emerged. His tall frame stood like a mountain, exuding a strong sense of pressure. Jessica and Danny Rand were particularly shocked when they saw his right hand tightly gripping the Punisher's neck. The burly man, at least six feet tall, was being held like a chick, struggling to breathe.
The scene suddenly fell silent. Danny Rand, who thought he had turned the tide, had an ugly expression. Logically, that punch should have rendered Sean completely incapacitated, but the reality felt like a resounding slap in his face.
"That punch of yours was indeed heavy. This is the first time I've been injured," Sean said calmly, his left hand hanging limply. His entire left shoulder felt as if it had been hit by a sledgehammer. "To take the first hit from a man, honestly, I'm not in a good mood."
Sean's right hand, like cast iron, firmly gripped the Punisher's neck. If it weren't for the surging life energy within his body rapidly repairing his injuries, he might have already become the Punisher's captive.
"I made a mistake. Perhaps, from the beginning until now, I've had too smooth a journey. All the enemies I've encountered have fallen at my feet, and I've hardly faced any setbacks or obstacles... so I've become a bit arrogant. This is not a good sign. Even Achilles was shot in the ankle by an arrow and died. I will encounter more powerful opponents in the future. If I continue with this arrogant mindset, I might suffer an irreversible defeat."
Sean seemed to be reflecting, his voice calm and unhurried. His usually placid eyes held no emotion. His right hand gradually tightened, like a closing iron clamp. The Punisher, whose throat was being gripped, was close to suffocation, his eyeballs bulging with blood, unable to utter a sound.
With a thud, the two-hundred-pound body fell to the floor, making a dull sound. Sean flexed his injured left shoulder. The shattered bones were already healing under the golden light.
"Alright, let's finish this quickly. Maybe I can still get a cheese and nut pizza to go before the pizza place closes."
Sean didn't even glance at the Punisher, who had lost consciousness from lack of oxygen. A flash of golden light in his eyes extinguished as he stared at the alert and wary Jessica and Danny Rand, a dangerous smile blooming on his lips.
A black Passat was parked outside a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. Alexandra, one of the leaders of The Hand, leaned back in the car seat. She had been following the battle from the beginning. If Sean hadn't appeared, according to the original plan, she was prepared to deploy her strongest force to bring the Iron Fist of K'un-Lun to her.
"Elektra, if Wesley's boss fails, then it will be your turn to step in," Alexandra gently stroked the woman sitting beside her, treating her like a pet.
The woman called Elektra turned her head blankly, her eyes devoid of any emotion, like an exquisite puppet lacking the spark of life.
No one would have guessed that this expressionless, cold beauty was The Hand's most powerful weapon, the legendary human weapon, Black Sky!
"If Wesley's boss doesn't fail, then you will deal with him. No nameless nobody has ever dared to make demands of The Hand," Alexandra said coldly. Since the other party was asking for the moon, she might as well make him pay for his greed.
Elektra nodded. She held her katana. For Black Sky, any weapon that could tear flesh and reap life was an extension of her own limbs. Compared to powerful firearms, these ancient and brutal cold weapons could better satisfy her inner desire for killing and bloodshed.
Time ticked by. Just as Alexandra was growing impatient, the door of the Chinese restaurant was pushed open. A man wearing a black mask hummed a cheerful tune, dragging a body along the ground in his hand.
"Danny Rand, the Iron Fist of K'un-Lun, I've brought him for you." Sean said casually, tossing the bruised and battered Danny Rand onto the black Passat like trash.
As if to retaliate for that heavy punch, the Iron Fist of K'un-Lun had no intact skin left on his face. His entire face had swollen by at least a third, and at least a dozen of his bones were broken.
"Don't worry, I was careful. They're all superficial wounds. Just find a doctor to treat him, and he won't be disabled or in any danger."
Danny Rand, who was still conscious, almost cursed upon hearing this. Unfortunately, he couldn't even move a finger, let alone make a sound.
"Elektra, deal with him," Alexandra commanded. Since the Iron Fist of K'un-Lun was secured, the person in front of them was no longer necessary.
Elektra, dressed in a black and red ninja outfit, got out of the car. Her sharp katana was slowly drawn from its sheath. She stared at Sean, who seemed completely unaware, a bestial glint flashing in her pupils.
"Such a lack of contractual spirit."
As expected, Sean shook his neck. It felt as if electricity was surging through his skin, a slight tingling sensation filling his body. The consecutive battles had allowed him to vaguely touch the essence of his own power.
