Time rewound forty minutes. Outside a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown, Sean and Elektra, wielding a long sword, faced each other. Watching the black Passat drive away, the young man couldn't help but ask, "Are you the Hand's Black Sky?"
Sean observed the expressionless woman in red before him with a scrutinizing gaze. She was like an exquisite doll, her beautiful, dark eyes filled with the cruelty of a beast, as if a ferocious wild animal had taken over her delicate body.
A sharp blade flashed. Elektra remained silent. As the vessel for Black Sky, she could still perform basic human actions, but in every other way, she was no different from a wild beast. Furthermore, the longer Black Sky resided within her body, the weaker and fainter her original personality as Elektra would become, until she was completely consumed by her bestial nature.
Elektra swung her long sword, its gleaming blade slicing through the air. Sean dodged with subtle footwork, curious to see just how formidable the legendary living weapon, Black Sky, truly was.
Sean's black hair danced in the wind as he dodged Elektra's frenzied assault. The bright sword light traced deadly arcs. A moment's carelessness would mean her sharp blade tearing through flesh and rending his body into scattered limbs.
Just as he expected, Elektra, now a vessel for Black Sky, had evolved into a pure killing instrument. As the fight continued, her strength and speed increased noticeably. Her red figure moved like a ghostly apparition, suddenly closing in on Sean. Her long sword swept upwards, a silver gleam that seemed poised to cleave her enemy in two!
A chill ran down Sean's spine. He slammed his fist, imbued with heavy force, into the side of her blade, deflecting Elektra's fierce attack. He immediately switched from defense to offense, pressing forward like a mountain. His tall frame exuded a daunting aura. He brought his fist down heavily. Elektra, unable to dodge, was struck in the abdomen, her supple body bending like a cooked lobster.
A powerful, sweeping kick came at him from the side, sending Elektra, temporarily incapacitated, flying. Her red form crashed into a parked car, the metal door immediately denting and the car window shattering, sending shards of glass scattering across the ground.
Sean stood tall, watching Elektra struggle to rise. He clicked his tongue, "Truly astonishing willpower. A beast in human skin?"
Even a heavily armored individual like Luke Cage, who was impervious to blades and bullets, would have had trouble getting up immediately after taking a heavy punch and a whip kick from him. Yet, Elektra, her black hair disheveled, propped herself up with her long sword, took a few breaths, and regained her combat readiness.
Her bestial eyes locked onto Sean, as if she felt no pain at all. The only things driving her body were an endless lust for slaughter and combat instincts.
Swift sword light tore through the air, the whistling wind roaring. The long sword transformed into a silver blur, carrying a chilling, heart-stopping coldness as it descended upon Sean. A nearby streetlamp was directly severed, its cut as smooth as a mirror, a testament to the incredible strength of its wielder!
"We should sit down and talk, Elektra," Sean said, moving like a phantom shadow, his voice appearing and disappearing. "You can control it. Any power can be mastered if you have a strong enough will… Don't become its slave!"
Elektra remained silent. A flicker passed through her dark eyes before they returned to normal. The sword light was swift and ferocious, like silver radiance blooming in the void. Sean's chest heaved, surging energy flowing like a tide. Time seemed to slow. His upright form became a blur. The young man evaded the sharp edge of her swinging sword. A strong arm swept through the air, seizing the red figure's slender neck.
"Elektra Natchios," Sean casually flicked the long sword from her hand. He leaned close to her exquisite, beautiful mixed-race face and whispered, "You were adopted by Stick, Daredevil's mentor, as a child. Later, you were fostered by a Greek diplomat. In college, you met Matt Murdock, a very charming young blind man, and you fell deeply in love…"
His hoarse, low voice echoed in Elektra's ears. A struggle appeared in her vacant pupils. The bestial nature within her brain roared violently, and waves of piercing pain swept through her entire body!
Sean's arm gradually tightened, stopping only when Elektra felt the sensation of suffocation. He gazed deeply at the pitiable woman whose body was possessed by Black Sky and said softly, "Remember all of this… How you died, how you were resurrected, and then allowed that beastly monster to hijack your body! Elektra, you have your own name, a family, and a lover. That beast can't control you!"
Elektra's legs kicked uncontrollably. The near-suffocation brought her to the brink of death. The man's voice, sometimes distant, sometimes near, was like a call from the beyond, awakening long-buried emotions and memories within her heart.
Sean moved closer to the struggling woman in red. He looked at her pained, contorted face and asked softly, "Tell me, who are you?"
Counting the seconds in his mind, after thirty seconds passed, Elektra, still struggling to breathe, had not answered. Sean's gaze gradually turned cold. He sighed regretfully, preparing to personally extinguish this blood-red rose.
"...Elektra... Natchios." With a hoarse, strange sound, the woman in red, hovering on the edge of death, uttered her name intermittently.
"Well done." Sean released his arm. The woman with red hair and black hair knelt before him, gasping for air like a fish out of water.
The young man lifted Elektra's chin, a satisfied smile on his lips. "Next, it's time for revenge."
"It seems you're unwilling to see me," Sean said, spreading his hands. He walked to Elektra's side with a smile. "You put too much faith in Black Sky's power and too little in human will."
"Elektra, kill him." Alexandra rushed to the woman in red, issuing hysterical commands. The leader of the Hand had lost her usual composure and dignity.
For centuries, the Hand had never had an instance of Black Sky losing control. How could mere human will possibly resist the power of "The Beast"?
This shattered Alexandra's understanding. She refused to believe Elektra had regained her sanity and continued to try to command the living weapon.
"My name is... Elektra Natchios."
The woman in red with black hair swung her long sword, cleanly decapitating Alexandra without hesitation. Blood gushed out like a fountain, splashing onto her own cold, exquisite face.
Elektra licked her lips slightly, a near-bewitching smile gracing her stern features. Her eyes held a look of intense pleasure. Killing satisfied her; blood delighted her!
"Let us welcome the new leader of the Hand," Sean said, clapping his hands. He put an arm around Elektra's shoulders and pushed her towards the head seat in the conference room.
Looking at the other four leaders, the young man's lips curved into a faint smile. He asked softly, "Who's in favor? Who's against?"
