Sean took a bottle of Scotch whisky from the well-stocked liquor cabinet, poured two glasses, and set them on the table. Harry loosened his tie and sprawled on the sofa without the slightest restraint.
The young master of Osborn, who had inherited the family business at such a young age, had a handsome face filled with frustration and irritation. Clearly, his visit to Umbrella today was not for official business such as commercial cooperation, but specifically to confide his troubles to a friend.
"What, did you and Mary Jane have another falling-out?" Sean handed Harry a glass, not forgetting to tease him.
Ever since Harry took charge of Osborn Industries, his busy work schedule had left him no time for his girlfriend. He often clashed with Mary Jane, and every time, he came to Sean and Gwen to act as go-betweens.
The young and wealthy master of Osborn drained the cold liquor in one gulp. A scorching sensation spread down his throat, and the alcohol made Harry's eyes redden. Some private words buried deep in his heart slipped out before he could stop them.
"I've always considered you a friend, Sean, just like Peter. You two are among the few true friends I have!" Harry grew emotional, his voice gradually rising. "Before I met you, Peter was my only good brother. We'd known each other since we were little. His father once worked for Osborn and was my father's right-hand man..."
"When Peter was in school, he was often bullied by thugs because he was introverted. I wasn't well-liked at boarding school either. Maybe because we were both always alone, we became good friends afterward. Whether it was comics or snacks, we always shared everything... I thought that friendship would last forever!"
Hearing Harry mention Peter every
