A golden figure exploded through the air with a thunderous roar, seeming to teleport directly in front of the Hulk. A fist powerful enough to sink a ten-thousand-ton battleship swung straight at him. The torn airflow let out a piercing shriek, and the shockwave from the sonic boom swept through like a raging gale, clearing away everything in its path.
With a thud like a great bell being struck, the impact resounded across the street. Sean's eyes widened slightly in surprise as Hulk raised a hand and blocked his heavy punch. That ferocious face suddenly loomed before him, and a brutal headbutt slammed into the young man, blood spilling from his brow.
The salty, metallic taste filled his mouth, and his brain buzzed as dizziness washed over him. After that brief daze, Sean's gaze burned even brighter. Brilliant golden flames burst from his body like a vast celestial tide sweeping forth. A deep rumble sounded through the air, then a huge explosion erupted between them. The ground shattered like a fragile mirror, fine cracks spreading in every direction.
Time seemed to freeze at that instant before abruptly returning to normal. Sean stomped a horrifying crater into the ground, while Hulk was hurled away at high speed, crashing into a nearby collapsed building. The concrete wall was too fragile to withstand the impact and was torn open into a huge hole. Rubble flew everywhere as the half-collapsed building burst apart, carving a deep trench across the ground.
