The moment the gunshot rang out, time around them seemed to freeze. The blazing bullet spun at high speed like a slow-motion image flickering frame by frame, while the airflow bloomed slowly from the muzzle like a flower opening in the void.
A faint haze of gunpowder smoke drifted and curled. Before the amber shell casing had even fallen, the metal bullet was already nearing Sean's temple. It would not even take a breath before his head exploded like a ripe watermelon, blood and brain matter splashing through the air and mixing into a murky, foul-smelling sludge. Then his life would end, and his consciousness would sink into darkness.
Unfortunately, this was not a Western action movie, and Sean and Deadpool were not cowboys facing off with guns. Or rather, they were not characters in a gunfight film who bled, got hurt, or even died when hit by bullets. In this world filled with all sorts of superpowers and nonhuman creatures, anything was possible.

Then he drew another large-caliber pistol from his waist. Inside the cramped car, both guns fired at once, their roaring muzzle flashes unbroken. More terrifying still, thanks to the mercenary's superhuman physical abilities, the recoil of the two large-caliber pistols caused him almost no interference. The continuously fired bullets remained on the same level, like a long stream of flame.
