After holding on for so long, it's finally up and running, guys.
I found writing this book quite enjoyable, because so far, Huo Yuhao hasn't suffered many setbacks. However, his daily grades do fluctuate quite a bit.
So no matter what, you've managed to "persevere." Love can't withstand tears of perseverance, right?
This wouldn't have been possible without everyone's support. I've also created a book club group where we can discuss ideas: 590384209
There are indeed many comments on Douyin (TikTok) about why Huo Yuhao is like this. I've mentioned it before; basically, whenever I come across a video about the male lead Huo Yuhao, it's all negative. Sometimes, I also feel uneasy about it.
So, is he really that bad? As for relationships, I can say that Huo Yuhao is fickle, that's undeniable, but he also made sacrifices. He gave so much, he can't expect nothing in return, right? There's a ton of criticism online.
What I least want to see are things like "not pure love," "scumbag boyfriend," and "a mere foil to the daughter of God King."
In my opinion, Huo Yuhao initially existed to avenge his mother and himself; hatred drove him to exist. In this book, I actually think he existed for himself.
Revenge is revenge. Just because Dai Hao is a general and didn't pay attention to me, does that mean I should ignore everything the Dai Family did for him?
His childhood was no different from that of a servant. How could he not avenge his mother's death?
And in the later plot, Qiankun Asking Love Valley kills people a hundred times over; if it were a Celestial Venerable, he would have wiped out his entire clan.
I won't go into too much detail about the plot, the later whitewashing, or Jiang Nannan's situation.
Well, what I wrote was a harem story. I'm not saying pure romance is bad, it's just that, for male-oriented fiction, there are more harem types, and I also enjoy reading them. In the fantasy world, I don't think there's anything wrong with harems.
I won't say that pure love is bad.
In the anime, Huo Yuhao is no longer seen as the male lead; it's as if his existence is solely for the sake of the female lead, Tang Wutong.
There might be a lot of malice directed at fake harems online these days.
That's why I wanted to portray his personality as ruthless and decisive, with a touch of cunning. Of course, Huo Yuhao in the original novel also has some cunning, but he doesn't place as much emphasis on emotions.
Then Huo Yuhao, the character I create, must strive to become stronger and more ambitious...
This is also what I think.
The female lead has already been introduced to everyone. Of course, as I also mentioned, the expansion of time is very complex, so there may be some unexpected characters appearing, or rather, some characters in the Douluo I may become the female lead.
The plot of Douluo Dalu III: The Legend of the Dragon King is still unresolved, because there seems to be nothing left to write about in the timeline of Douluo Dalu III: The Legend of the Dragon King. It seems that every female supporting character has her own exclusive partner, such as Yuanen Yehui. Indeed, this character is drawn very well in the manga.
Looking at it again, the relationships between the characters in the show are actually quite complex. For example, Ye Xishui and Long Xiaoyao are from Douluo II, and then there's Long Yeyue from Douluo Dalu III: The Legend of the Dragon King. They really know how to play the game.
I haven't read much of Douluo Dalu III: The Legend of the Dragon King, so I don't know how to approach the story. It's originally Tang Wulin's story, so if I insert it into the narrative, what will happen to Gu Yuena at this point?
Okay, that's about all for my reflections. It might be a bit short, but you can discuss the rest in the group.
Also, we hope everyone will support us after it's released...
