• Morgans told the newspaper staff that Luo Chen and his crew had rescued Catherine from Saint Orange at the Holy Land, then ordered them to publish the story widely.

Luo Chen asked Wieland to reforge Rain Burial, but the swordsmith refused because he blamed Luo Chen for breaking it. As Luo Chen and Catherine waited in town to try again the next day, a government agent abducted Wieland’s grandson Kamera to force Wieland to submit.

• Luo Chen and Catherine reached Wieland’s forge, where Wieland recognized the broken Rain Burial and demanded an explanation.
• Luo Chen explained that Shatter Destruction had broken Rain Burial and pleaded with Wieland to reforge it, but Wieland refused and told them to give up.
