High in the sky, tens of thousands of meters above the ground, a floating cube of earth measuring one meter in length, width, and height suddenly appeared.

Han Xing stood on it as if he were standing on grass, but the vast height beneath his feet made his legs go weak again and again.

At some point, a faded wooden bow had appeared in his hands, while a quiver had appeared at his waist, with ten wooden arrows inside.

Han Xing tightly gripped the longbow in his hand. With a weapon, he felt somewhat more secure.

Looking around, he discovered many clouds of varying sizes and colors in the nearby sky.

Some clouds were as large as mountains, while others were only the size of tables, about the same size as Han Xing's territory.

He knew how this game worked. Each of those clouds concealed Floating Islands, and all of a player's early resources, including food and drinking water, had to be obtained from those islands.

He had to explore other sky islands and gather supplies as soon as possible, or it would not be long before he died of thirst or starvation.

Han Xing began controlling the cube beneath his feet to move forward.

More than ten minutes later, Han Xing's lips were already starting to dry out.

Those clouds looked close, but the actual distance was great. At his current cube's speed, he could travel ten kilometers an hour at most—a movement speed of less than three meters per second.

Although the sky island's speed would increase as its level rose, it was still far too slow right now.

Han Xing looked as if he had seen his savior. Tears of excitement nearly fell from his eyes.

He pounced beside the berry tree and began stuffing red berries into his mouth.

After swallowing several berries, the hunger and thirst in his body were relieved.

Han Xing counted them. There were still more than twenty red berries on the tree, each the size of a strawberry. If he ate sparingly, they could last him at least two days!

Han Xing discovered that his one-meter-by-one-meter-by-one-meter cube of earth had become a rectangular block measuring two meters by one meter by one meter. A berry tree was planted on one of the soil blocks.

His hunger and thirst had been solved, but his mental state was still exhausted.

Han Xing leaned against the berry tree's canopy and slowly lay down.

Half an hour later, Han Xing opened his eyes.

The moment he woke up, he discovered that he had somehow rolled to the edge of his territory. One arm was dangling in mid-air, and he had been only a hair's breadth away from falling!
