The new recruits shouted excitedly.
The captain of the new recruits, however, paid no attention to their cheers.
He was full of questions. Why wasn't Lucci moving? But at such a tense moment, he had no time to dwell on it. He immediately aimed a Shigan at Lucci's arm.
Facing the captain's attack, Lucci's expression remained unchanged. He looked at the captain indifferently and spoke softly.
"Tekkai."
Bang! Bang! Bang...
More than ten muffled impacts rang out in quick succession.
When the captain saw that his Shigan hadn't hurt Lucci in the slightest, shock filled his eyes.
Just then!
Lucci looked at the captain without emotion and said indifferently,
"Too weak."
Hearing this, the captain immediately sensed danger. He stamped his left foot against the ground several times and used Soru to retreat.
Watching him retreat, Lucci murmured,
"Soru!"

As his voice faded, Lucci vanished from where he stood.
When everyone sensed Lucci again,
He was already right in front of the retreating captain. He reached out with his left hand, fingers curled like a claw, and aimed for the captain's chest.
"Shigan!"
At that critical moment!
The captain proved worthy of his position as the strongest of this year's Ferocious Beast Training Camp. He immediately crossed his arms in front of his chest and shouted inwardly.
"Tekkai!"
Bang! Bang! Bang!...
Once again, several muffled impacts rang out.
The captain screamed and went flying like an arrow loosed from a bow. He skidded several meters along the ground before coming to a stop.
Lucci performed a sideways backflip and returned to where he had stood.
"Cough!"
The captain spat out a mouthful of bright red blood, his arms trembling uncontrollably.
Although the captain had reacted in time and used Tekkai to keep Lucci's Shigan from piercing his arms, the force behind Lucci's attack was too strong. Even without piercing them, it had left cracks all through the bones in the captain's arms.
The pain from his fractured arm bones and the force of Lucci's Shigan sent cold sweat streaming down the captain's forehead. He gritted his teeth and endured it.
One strike!
It had crippled the strongest of the Ferocious Beast Training Camp's new class.
The cheers of the recruits present came to an abrupt halt. They froze where they stood, unable to believe what they were seeing.
The captain's arms hung at his sides. He gritted his teeth against the pain and stared intently at Lucci, guarding against a sudden attack.
But Lucci didn't attack as the captain expected. Instead, he spoke softly.
"You're too weak."
He walked toward the captain, flexing and clenching his fists with a cracking sound as he continued,
"Originally, if you'd aimed your Shigan directly at my chest, you might have seriously injured me. But you showed mercy and only attacked my abdomen, giving me a chance to retreat and use Tekkai."
"You're too weak and too merciful."
"As a marine who opposes pirates in the name of justice, you still harbor mercy. That's a sin, and sin must be punished."
Hearing Lucci's words, the captain's sense of danger grew even stronger. He hurriedly used Soru to get away from Lucci.
But in the end, his attempt to get away was useless.
The instant the captain retreated, Lucci also used Soru and followed him.
Whoosh!... Whoosh!... Whoosh!...
The two chased and fled like a hawk catching chicks.
Four minutes passed...
The captain was still desperately fleeing across the training ground...
Lucci followed at an unhurried pace, like a cat chasing a mouse.

Seeing that the captain had exhausted himself, Lucci stopped playing with him. He used Soru and appeared before him.
Lucci looked coldly at the captain and thrust a finger toward his chest.
"Shigan!"
Suddenly!
Someone caught Lucci's attacking finger.
The giant man had finally rushed out just as the captain was in danger, saving him from serious injury.
Zephyr frowned and turned to the three CP0 members.
"Didn't I tell you to tell Lucci not to be ruthless?"
The CP0 member wearing a pure white mask spread his hands and feigned innocence.
"I told Lucci, but he wouldn't listen. We trained him to be a killing machine, so how could he possibly show mercy to an enemy? You can't blame us for that. Heh heh heh."
"You!"
Even a clay figurine had a temper.
Finally, at the CP0 member's words, Zephyr and Garp could no longer tolerate the three CP0 members and were about to attack them.
Seeing this, Sengoku hurriedly pressed down on Garp's and Zephyr's shoulders, urging them not to act rashly.
Meanwhile, the recruits looked at the arrogant, overbearing CP0 members, then at their captain as the giant instructor helped him over. Their faces flushed red with frustration.
Some of the female recruits even had tears welling in their eyes.
The captain was helped over to Sengoku. His face full of self-reproach, he said,
"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, Vice Admiral Garp, Instructor Zephyr... I'm sorry... I've let you down."
As soon as the captain spoke those self-reproachful words, with the three CP0 members still cackling at their side, the recruits were filled with self-reproach and frustration. They hated themselves for not having trained harder, or they wouldn't be mocked like this by CP0 now.
"Sigh..."
Looking at the self-reproachful recruits, Sengoku and the other two all sighed.
Just then!
A voice rang out!
"Huh? Why is the Ferocious Beast Training Camp so lively today? What are you doing?"
