Buggy the Clown was filled with shock.
He stared at the somewhat slender figure, whose youthful face bore a trace of toughness uncommon among his peers. Buggy the Clown was so astonished that he could not recover for a long time.
As the black smoke from the explosion dispersed, a ray of sunlight shone through a gap in the smoke.
That ray of sunlight fell right on the slender figure.
Only then did Buggy the Clown and the others get a clear look at the slender figure's face.
It was a delicate, youthful face, full of vitality, and a unique air emanated from the figure.
Buggy and the others had just come to their senses, but when they saw the figure's face clearly, their mouths fell open wide enough to swallow watermelons, and their eyes bulged like lanterns.
"How old is this guy?!"
"Judging by his build and face, I'd guess he's only ten!"
"Ten?!"
Everyone in the Buggy Pirates rubbed their eyes in disbelief and looked again at Ages, who stood beneath the ray of sunlight.
Gazing at the boy, who looked so radiant in the sunlight, Buggy the Clown swallowed and said,
"Kid over there... just now... were you the one who cut the bomb in half?"
After speaking, Buggy glanced at the tree branch in Ages's hand, his heart pounding as he kept telling himself,
"It couldn't have been him. It couldn't. He doesn't even have a weapon. Damn it, what am I afraid of? He's just a ten-year-old kid. How could he possibly have cut my special Buggy Ball in half? There must be an expert nearby. Yeah, that's right..."
Buggy kept reassuring himself.
But before he was done, a single sentence from Ages left the Buggy Pirates petrified on the spot.
"I cut it."
Those few simple, concise words left everyone in the Buggy Pirates standing frozen.
Buggy shook his head hard, repeatedly insisting to himself that the delicate-looking boy before him had not cut the bomb in half. Then he pointed at Ages and laughed loudly.
"Hahahaha, you, kid? You cut it? Hahaha, you little runt..."
"Hahaha, how old are you anyway? Hahaha, you say you cut it?..."
"What did you cut it with? Hahaha, don't tell me you used that branch, hahaha..."
Buggy kept jeering and laughing, and the rest of the Buggy Pirates joined in, mocking Ages and roaring with laughter.
"Hahahaha..."
Ages frowned slightly. Ignoring the mockery of everyone in the Buggy Pirates, he slowly extended the small hand holding the branch, then slowly swung it downward and said softly,
"Go to hell..."
As soon as Ages finished speaking, Buggy and the others stopped laughing.
They could no longer laugh. Every one of them lay sprawled on the ground.
Buggy and the others felt the gravity on the ground around them intensify to its limit, pressing them flat and leaving them unable to move.
Buggy gritted his teeth against the pressure of the gravity. With difficulty, he raised his head to look at Ages and muttered through clenched teeth,
"You... you... are... a Devil... Fruit... user."
Buggy had intended to use Chop-Chop to escape the gravity field, but as the branch in Ages's hand slowly descended, the gravity grew stronger and stronger.
Buggy could not get out of the gravity field at all.
When the branch in Ages's hand reached its lowest point, Ages said in a low voice,
"Hell's Journey."
Boom!!
A deafening sound rang out.
The area where the Buggy Pirates stood instantly collapsed, forming a pitch-black pit whose bottom could not be seen.
Buggy and the others were all pressed down into the pit.
Looking at the enormous black pit, Ages released the gravitational pressure on it.
Instead, he swung the branch in his hand again, this time whipping it toward the sky.
A purple ripple issued from Ages's hand and traveled toward the sky in the direction the branch pointed.
Finally, it vanished into the vast sky...
A while later.
The villagers of Pasatemu Town came out of their houses. They had not seen what Ages had done.
So when they came out, they all stared blankly at the enormous black pit that had appeared at the entrance to the village. A slender figure stood before the pit: Ages.
The villagers all wondered where the pirates had gone.
"Ages, where did the pirates go?"
a villager asked Ages.
Ages turned back with a slight smile and pointed at the black pit.
"Mister, they're down there, but you'd better go back inside for now, because they're coming out..."
As soon as Ages finished speaking, a rustling sound came from the black pit.
"Damn it, that hurt like hell!"
"I'll make that brat pay!"
"Get the Seastone ready! I'm going to catch that brat!"
Buggy's curses came from the pit.
The villager was so frightened that he hurried back into his house, and the other villagers rushed inside as well.
Just as the villagers were about to go back inside and Buggy the Clown had climbed out of the pit,
the previously bright, sunny sky suddenly darkened...
The villagers and Buggy and the others, who had just climbed out of the pit, looked up at the sky.
"This..."
"My god!! The world's ending!!"
"Ah!! What's that?!"
The villagers and Buggy's group stared at the sky, their eyes nearly bulging out of their sockets.
An enormous meteor wreathed in blazing flames was falling toward Pasatemu Town.
The meteor hurtled closer!
Boom!!!
An incomparably tremendous boom erupted.
The ground in Pasatemu Town shook violently.
The meteor, wreathed in blazing flames, slammed straight into the black pit where Buggy and the others were.
"Aaah!!!!"
As the villagers watched in shock, Buggy and the others were struck by the meteor before they could climb out of the pit!
Dust billowed up, filling the sky.
Airborne dust filled Pasatemu Town.
Strangely, however, there was not a speck of dust within half a meter of Ages.
Whenever the swirling dust came within half a meter of Ages, it bounced away...
Ages looked at the devastated surroundings and suddenly scratched his head.
"Uh, looks like I used too much force..."
To be continued.
