As one of the Three Ancient Weapons, Poseidon possesses the ability to command Sea Kings.
In the original story, Shirahoshi's cries after Queen Otohime's death attracted countless Sea Kings.
The fact that these Sea Kings are gathered here now is probably because they sense that their king is about to be born.
Roy took a deep breath, a glint of shrewdness flashing in his eyes.
Poseidon...
That ability to control Sea Kings is practically a rogue-level existence in this world entirely composed of oceans.
If we could win Poseidon over to our side...
Roy's thoughts raced.
Fish-Man Island has always had a good relationship with me.
Fisher Tiger, Aladdin, and other members of the Sun Pirates are now living on Hachinosu.
If we can leverage this relationship to eventually sway Shirahoshi to our side...
Counterattacking the World Government and controlling the seas would be a piece of cake.
The only one left is the mysterious Imu.
Thinking of this, Roy suddenly burst into laughter.
The laughter sounded particularly jarring in the silent depths of the sea.
Lafitte and his two companions were startled and looked at each other in bewilderment.
"Captain?"
Lafitte asked cautiously,
What's wrong?
Roy's smile faded, and he waved his hand.
"Fine."
"I just thought of some interesting things."
Roy's gaze returned to Fish-Man Island.
"We're almost at Fish-Man Island."
"Let's get ready to leave."
Lafitte nodded, though he was puzzled, he didn't ask any further questions.
Under Roy's control, the sailboat slowly descended, heading towards the huge protective membrane that enveloped Fish-Man Island.
puff--
The sailboat penetrated the protective membrane and landed steadily in the harbor of Fish-Man Island.
The seawater was kept out, and fresh air rushed in.
Roy jumped off the sailboat, followed closely by Lafitte and the other two.
When Jesus Burgess first set foot on the land of Fish-Man Island, he looked around curiously.
His eyes lit up instantly when he saw the Fish-Man Race and Merfolk coming and going in the harbor.
"Wow!"
He exclaimed,
So many Fish-Man!
"And mermaids!"
His gaze fell upon the beautiful mermaids, his eyes filled with amazement.
Some of the mermaids had blonde hair and blue eyes, some had fiery Red Hair, and some had snow-white hair.
They swam gracefully in the harbor pool, their long fish tails trailing behind them, a breathtaking sight.
Jesus Burgess's eyes gradually turned greedy.
He licked his lips.
"Captain! So many mermaids! If we capture them all, what will happen..."
Before he could finish speaking, a terrifying pressure instantly enveloped him!
Jesus Burgess felt a sudden heaviness in his body, as if a mountain were pressing down on him!
His legs trembled slightly, cold sweat poured down his forehead, and he almost knelt down!
"The ship... Captain..."
He struggled to lift his head and look at Roy.
Roy's face darkened.
" Jesus Burgess "
Roy turned to stare at Jesus Burgess, his eyes devoid of any smile.
Fish-Man Island is our friend.
"Furthermore, I don't want to hear the words 'slave trade' again."
Jesus Burgess' face turned pale, and he hurriedly said,
"Yes... yes, yes, yes! Understood, Captain!"
"I just blurted it out! I didn't mean anything by it!"
"I will never say it again!"
Roy stared at him for a few seconds, then slowly withdrew his imposing aura.
"Um."
That would be best.
Roy turned around and looked at the streets of Fish-Man Island.
"The fact that Fish-Man Island, as a unique race living on the sea, can move freely in the ocean is very important to us."
"There are quite a few Fish-Man Race living on Hachinosu now."
" Fisher Tiger, Aladdin, and the others are all fellow countrymen from Fish-Man Island."
Jesus Burgess wiped away a bead of cold sweat and nodded repeatedly.
"Understood, understood! Don't worry, Captain, I'll definitely pay attention in the future!"
Lafitte, standing to the side, couldn't help but chuckle at Jesus Burgess's disheveled appearance.
This guy talks way too fast.
Just then--
A commotion arose at the port.
A squad of Fish-Man soldiers was running quickly toward them.
The leader, clad in magnificent armor and wielding a trident, was none other than the King of Fish-Man Island.
Neptune.
Neptune strode up to Roy and bowed deeply.
" Captain Roy!"
Welcome back to Fish-Man Island!
Roy smiled slightly.
Neptune, long time no see.
Neptune warmly shook Roy's hand.
Haha! It really has been a long time!
"The last time we met was two years ago!"
"It's so great that you could come!"
He turned to look at the three princes behind him.
" Fukaboshi, Ryuboshi, Manboshi, greet Captain Roy!"
The three princes bowed in unison.
"Greetings, Captain Roy!"
Roy nodded.
"Good, they've all grown up."
Neptune laughed heartily.
"That's right! The children are all working hard to grow up!"
He looked at the three people behind Roy.
"Who are these three...?"
Roy turned to the side and introduced,
"Newly recruited crew members."
" Lafitte, Van Augur, Jesus Burgess."
The three men bowed to Neptune.
Neptune greeted them warmly.
"Welcome, welcome! Since you're Captain Roy's crew member, you're a friend of Fish-Man Island!"
"Let's go! I've already prepared a banquet in the Ryugu Palace to welcome Captain Roy!"
Roy nodded.
"Then I'll take my leave."
The group left the port and headed towards the Ryugu Palace.
Along the way, Lafitte and his two companions curiously observed everything around them.
The streets of Fish-Man Island are bustling and unique.
Houses built from various corals are arranged in a pleasing, staggered pattern.
The streets were lined with various stalls selling goods unique to the seabed.
There are glowing pearls, colorful seashells, strangely shaped seaweed, and various handicrafts made by the Fish-Man Race.
The Fish-Man Race and Merfolk coming and going all bowed to Neptune and his party.
Neptune waved to them warmly, displaying his regal bearing.
Jesus Burgess's gaze would occasionally fall on the beautiful mermaids, but remembering Roy's warning, he immediately looked away, not daring to look any longer.
Van Augur remained vigilant, observing his surroundings.
Lafitte walked beside Roy and asked in a low voice,
"Captain, are you very familiar with the King of Fish-Man Island?"
Roy nodded.
"Um."
I helped them out a bit back then.
"Furthermore, Fisher Tiger and the Sun Pirates are currently on Hachinosu."
Lafitte nodded thoughtfully.
The group walked through the bustling streets and arrived at the Ryugu Palace.
The enormous palace, constructed from massive corals and seashells, shone brilliantly under the glow of the underwater light.
Stepping into the palace, one finds it even more resplendent with gold and jade.
A huge crystal chandelier hangs in the center of the hall, emitting a soft glow.
The walls are inlaid with various gemstones and pearls, sparkling brilliantly.
The long dining table was already laden with a sumptuous feast.
All kinds of seafood, fruits, and fine wines are available.
Neptune warmly invited everyone to take their seats.
Come on in! Don't be shy! Eat whatever you like!
"These are all specialties of Fish-Man Island; you can't get them anywhere else!"
