The sounds of their Armament Haki clashing were as dense as rain.
Doflamingo launched a frenzied attack, his body enveloped in Armament Haki threads.
Furthermore, with the Devil Fruit Awakening the String-String Fruit, a continuous stream of threads launches unexpected attacks from Kizaru's blind spots.
Kizaru fought and retreated, his lightsaber flashing in a dense, impenetrable barrage, but each collision left his arm numb from the impact.
The two fought from the middle of the street to one end, from the end of the street to the ruins, and from the ruins to the port.
Houses collapsed one after another, leaving huge craters in the ground, with debris flying everywhere and dust filling the air.
The two of them demolished most of the entire town.
In the distance, Roy led his crew to a relatively intact rooftop, arms crossed, leisurely watching the battle unfold.
"Boss,"
Tesoro leaned closer and asked in a low voice,
"We really won't get involved?"
"What's the rush?" Roy said calmly. "Let them fight first."
Yamato held the spiked club, his eyes shining:
" Doflamingo is so strong! I've never seen him fight like this before!"
"That's because he never had the chance to fight so hard before," Roy said. "He was really provoked today."
Enel floated in mid-air, Thundercloud churning around him, and scoffed disdainfully, "This is it? You dare call yourself Admiral?"
"Why don't you go up and give it a try?" Roy glanced at him.
Enel shrank back and gave an awkward laugh.
Kazami sat cross-legged on the roof, his hands on the hilt of his sword, his eyes fixed on the battle in the distance.
Bar scratched his head sheepishly. "Captain, that Marine Admiral seems pretty formidable."
"Nonsense," Roy said. "How could someone become Admiral if they weren't capable?"
Pea squatted at Roy's feet, fiddling with his little flowerpot, muttering, "When will it be our turn...?"
"Don't worry," Roy ruffled his hair. "You guys have a chance."
Roy's Observation Haki remained locked on the two presences deep within the dense forest.
One has vanished—that was Rosinante.
A faint but steady glimmer—that was Trafalgar Law, still alive.
boom--!!!
Another loud explosion came from afar.
Kizaru kicked Doflamingo away, but he himself was also cut on the arm by the threads, and blood dripped down his sleeve.
He landed on a rooftop, panting heavily, glanced down at the wound on his arm, and cursed under his breath:
" Roy, you bastard, you did this on purpose, didn't you?"
Roy laughed, "What do you mean?"
"You deliberately provoked him, making him oppose the Navy!" Kizaru gritted his teeth. "You want to use me to weaken the Donquixote Family!"
"I didn't say that," Roy shrugged. "I was just stating a fact."
Kizaru took a deep breath, suppressing the urge to curse.
He knew he had been outmaneuvered by Roy today.
But there was nothing he could do; Doflamingo had gone mad and wouldn't listen to anything he was told.
" Doflamingo!" Kizaru shouted, "If you don't stop, I won't be polite!"
"You're welcome?" Doflamingo sneered. "Damn Navy?"
He waved his hands, and the silk threads surged forth again, wrapping around Kizaru!
Kizaru sighed, and with a flash, his figure transformed into golden light and disappeared from the spot.
The next second, he appeared behind Doflamingo, raised his right foot, and light particles frantically condensed.
" Light Speed Kick."
He kicked it out.
Doflamingo had no time to dodge and could only cross his arms to block, his entire body covered in Armament Haki.
boom--!!!
A burst of golden light erupted, Doflamingo was sent flying like a cannonball, crashing through three houses before finally embedding himself in a pile of rubble, amidst billowing dust.
Kizaru landed on the ground, panting heavily, his clothes tattered and his body covered in wounds.
"Ugh... I'm so tired..."
In the ruins, Doflamingo struggled to his feet, covered in blood, but his eyes remained fierce.
"It's not over yet..."
He gritted his teeth, and the silk thread surged out again.
Trebol rushed over and grabbed him, yelling, " Doffy! That's enough!"
Diamante ran over too. " Doffy! Calm down!"
Pica and Vergo also surrounded Doflamingo, protecting him in the middle.
"Let me go!" Doflamingo roared, "I'm going to kill him! Kill him!"
" Doffy!" Trebol shouted, glancing at Roy in the distance.
"If you kill him, the Navy will retaliate fiercely! Then we'll all be finished!"
Doflamingo stood amidst the ruins, threads dancing around him, his breathing rapid, yet his aura only intensified.
Looking at the two of them, Roy felt his mischievous pleasure completely satisfied.
But he didn't expect that Doflamingo's anger was far from over.
" Kizaru," Doflamingo spoke, his voice hoarse, "You think this is all?"
Kizaru frowned; he hadn't expected Doflamingo to become so enraged by Roy's few words.
Doflamingo shook off Diamante, raised his right hand, his fingers slightly curved, and threads shot out from his fingertips.
They wove together into a giant net in the air. As Doflamingo retreated, Roy's words filled his mind.
"Your dear younger brother, from the day he joined the navy, he was a pawn in the Sengoku."
Rosinante.
He had called him "brother" for over a decade.
Help him with his tasks, help him kill, help him expand his power.
He even considered giving Rosinante a territory and making him a king once things stabilized.
And the result?
It's all fake.
It was all an act.
" Doffy," Trebol's voice came from behind, "Are you alright?"
Doflamingo didn't say anything, but simply lowered his head and walked quickly forward.
His fists were clenched so tightly they cracked, his nails dug into his flesh, and blood dripped from between his fingers.
" Doffy..." Trebol wanted to say something more.
"Shut up."
Doflamingo's voice was frighteningly low.
Trebol shrank back, not daring to say anything more.
Doflamingo looked up and gazed into the distance.
There, Kizaru was leaning against the ruins, panting, looking injured and in a sorry state.
However, Roy sensed that Kizaru's aura hadn't diminished much at all.
In other words, Kizaru was just playing along with Doflamingo's act.
As expected of you, the Glitter Man ate the fruit of lewdness.
Roy couldn't help but give Kizaru a thumbs up in his heart.
Even Marine Admiral is nothing special.
" Doffy?" Diamante leaned closer.
Doflamingo didn't answer, but just stared at Kizaru, a hint of madness flashing in his eyes.
Rosinante is dead.
The Op-Op Fruit are gone.
The navy has arrived.
Roy came too.
Everything today is ruined.
But he was not willing to give up.
I'm not willing to leave like this.
"Let's go together," Doflamingo said.
Trebol was taken aback. "What?"
"I said let's all go together." Doflamingo turned and walked towards Kizaru. "Kill him."
Trebol's expression changed drastically. " Doffy! Are you crazy?! He's Marine Admiral!"
"So what if he's Marine Admiral?"
Doflamingo didn't even turn his head back.
"He's alone now, and badly injured. With so many of us, can't we kill him?"
Diamante's eyes lit up. " Doffy is right. Kizaru isn't in good shape right now, this is our chance."
Pica followed in silence.
Vergo remained expressionless, but his entire body was already covered in Armament Haki.
Although Trebol felt it was inappropriate, Doflamingo had already made his decision, and he dared not try to persuade him further.
