navy.
The World Government's highest combat force.
An enforcer of justice.
In front of Roy, he killed the Celestial Dragons. Then, in front of him, he silenced all the witnesses.
Clean and efficient.
Flowing like clouds and water.
More pirate-like than pirates themselves.
"Hey, hey, hey."
"Your navy really doesn't hold back."
Garp turned around.
On that rugged face, crumbs of senbei still clung to the corners of his mouth, but his eyes had regained the sharpness they had displayed when he clashed with Roy's Conqueror's Haki.
" Roy, what are you saying? I don't understand."
Garp's voice carried a hint of mockery.
"Aren't these pirates your accomplices, Roy?"
"You attacked the auction house together, killed the Celestial Dragons together, and now you want to run away together—"
"It's perfectly reasonable that he was shot dead on the spot by the navy."
Tesoro, standing behind Roy, stared wide-eyed.
"Hey! Old man! What nonsense are you spouting!"
Yamato was stunned. "It was clearly Akainu who killed the Celestial Dragons! We saw it with our own eyes!"
Garp waved his hand and laughed heartily!
Who would believe a pirate?
"Especially you, Roy, who has always been an enemy of the World Government."
Garp's voice was filled with undisguised smugness.
"You've already robbed the Heavenly Tribute, smashed up auction houses, and kidnapped Celestial Dragons. What's the big deal about taking three more lives?"
Roy didn't speak.
He looked at Garp, at the guy known as the "Naval Hero".
In those eyes, there was no shame of being exposed, no helplessness of being forced to lie, only a sense of naturalness and naked honesty.
Garp doesn't care about the truth.
They don't care who killed the Celestial Dragons.
They don't care about justice.
There was only one thing he cared about—getting the Navy out of this mess.
Even if it means distorting the truth, even if it means killing to silence witnesses, even if it means fighting against myself, the emperor of the sea.
This is the navy.
This is "justice".
Roy's lips curled into a smile again. It wasn't mockery, nor anger, but a pure, utterly absurd expression.
I was so angry I laughed.
" Garp."
"How come I never noticed before? You're so shameless!"
Garp laughed heartily, hands on his hips, his laughter as hearty as if he had heard some extraordinary praise.
"I was just doing my duty!"
Pirates attack the auction house, kill Celestial Dragons, and the Navy is in full pursuit.
He clenched his fists, and Armament Haki once again covered his wrists, the dark knuckles gleaming coldly in the setting sun.
"As for what happens during the process, that's up to their fists!"
The words had barely left his mouth.
Garp unleashed his Conqueror's Haki once more, dark red arcs of electricity crackling around him, causing the rubble beneath his feet to levitate.
Zephyr's Armament Haki wrapped around his fists, veins bulged on his arms, and muscles bulged so much they almost burst out of his sleeves.
Akainu's magma surged again, the dark red lava spreading from beneath his feet, turning the entire street into a sea of fire.
Aokiji's chilling aura rose, and ice crystals condensed around his body, creating a bizarre scene of ice and fire against Akainu's magma.
Four Marine Admiral- level combatants simultaneously entered combat readiness.
The oppressive atmosphere made it almost impossible for the weaker crew members in mid-air to breathe.
Pea clutched Roy's clothes tightly, her little face pale.
Bar gripped the iron ingot tightly. Kazami's hand rested on the hilt of his sword, his knuckles turning white.
Jesus Burgess ripped his shirt off, revealing his muscular physique, and activated his Strong-Strong Fruit, pushing his grip strength to its limit.
Yamato hoisted Genzo onto her Yamato, the excitement in her eyes finally overshadowing her earlier anger; she had waited for this moment for far too long.
Roy stood before the crowd, the moonlight blowing his black hair across his forehead, revealing a pair of terrifyingly calm eyes.
"Since your navy wants to fight..."
He raised his right hand, his Telekinesis gathering in his palm to form a visible, semi-transparent ball of energy.
"Then let's fight."
As soon as he finished speaking, the Telekinesis Domain exploded.
Roy's mental connection resonated with his own people present.
His voice resonated in the minds of every comrade, clear and calm, like a sophisticated war machine.
" Tesoro, you lead Yamato, Savi, Jesus Burgess, Enel, Pea, Kazami, Bar, and others to besiege Zephyr."
Tesoro must hold the line and absolutely prevent Zephyr from supporting other battlefields.
" Shanks, Garp is yours."
Shanks gripped Gryphon's sword hilt and grinned. "Just what I wanted."
He'd wanted to fight Garp for a long time.
It's not because of hatred, it's not because of stance.
It was simply because he was Roger's crew member, and Garp was Roger's nemesis.
He wanted to know just how heavy those iron fists that had driven the captain to the brink of despair back then were.
Roy's gaze fell on the last battlefield.
Akainu and Aokiji stood side by side, ice and fire sizzling beneath their feet.
Shanks!
Roy's voice continued to echo in Shanks' mind.
" Garp's fighting power is beyond your current capabilities! Let Beckman help you."
Shanks, without turning his head, said, "I can manage on my own."
This is not the time to be stubborn.
I wasn't being stubborn.
Shanks ' voice was calm.
Roy paused for a moment, then nodded.
" Beckman, Aokiji is yours. Take Lucky Roux and Yasopp."
Beckman, a cigarette dangling from his lips, slowly exhaled a puff of smoke. "Understood."
Roy's gaze finally settled on Akainu.
Lava surged on the Admiral's right arm, its blazing white light reflecting off his cold, hard face, his gloomy eyes fixed intently on him.
" Akainu is mine."
Roy's voice resonated in everyone's hearts.
"I haven't found such a handy punching bag in a long time."
The words had barely left his mouth when he activated his Telekinesis.
Spatial Translocation!
Yamato, Savi, Jesus Burgess vanished from their original positions simultaneously, reappearing around Zephyr in the next instant.
They occupied the front, left flank, and right flank respectively, completely blocking the former Marine Admiral's retreat.
Tesoro transformed into a bolt of lightning, appearing directly above Zephyr, golden arcs of electricity crackling around him, and lightning gathering in his hands.
Enel floated beside Tesoro, while Thundercloud churned overhead.
With a flick of his wrists, the Pea seeds rained down on the ground, instantly taking root and sprouting. Countless vines emerged from the cracks in the ground, weaving together into a giant green net beneath Zephyr's feet.
Kazami and Bar blocked Zephyr's escape route.
At the same moment, Shanks drew Gryphon, Garp laughed heartily, and their two iron fists collided.
Beckman raised his gun and aimed at Aokiji. Yasopp's sniper rifle was set up on a rooftop in the distance. Raki Lu threw down the bone in his hand and clasped his fists together.
And Roy--
He stepped into the void, walking step by step towards Akainu.
His Telekinesis coalesced into a semi-transparent armor around him, and moonlight refracted onto it, creating ripples like flowing water.
He did not draw his sword; his hands hung naturally at his sides, and his steps were neither hurried nor slow.
" Admiral Akainu."
Roy's voice echoed through the empty street, "After all this time in the business, this is the first time I've faced you."
Akainu did not answer. Magma gushed wildly from his right arm, the crimson light growing ever brighter.
"Perfect --"
