After returning to the palace, Lin Yuan looked at Gan Fall and Saga. The two were still glaring at each other.
Lin Yuan didn't care. After all, their peoples had been bitter enemies for centuries, and it wasn't realistic to expect them to change anytime soon.
But ever since Lin Yuan had defeated three thousand people with a single burst of Conqueror's Haki, both Gan Fall and Saga regarded him as a god.
On Sky Island, they were both among the strongest warriors, but compared to Lin Yuan, whose strength rivaled an Admiral's, they were still far too weak.
Both Gan Fall and Saga knew they had no chance of resisting Lin Yuan. For the sake of their people, they could only obey.
"Gan Fall, Saga, since you've submitted to me, I hope you can put aside your hatred. As for this so-called Upper Yard and what you call Vearth, it's nothing more than soil."
"If I get the chance, I'll bring you more soil in the future. Even moving an entire island would be no trouble. So can you live together in peace?"
Gan Fall and Saga both fell silent. After a while, Saga finally spoke.
"Lord Lin Yuan, this is our homeland. The Skypieans took it from us centuries ago. If we can return here, all of us Shandia will be your most loyal warriors."
Lin Yuan looked at the man before him, then smiled and nodded.
"All right. Gan Fall, what do you say?"
Saga had spoken first, leaving Gan Fall with no choice but to smile wryly. Though he was reluctant, he no longer had the strength to resist.
"New God, I'll abide by your decision. I only hope you'll treat my people well."
Lin Yuan nodded in satisfaction. With both of them in agreement, he had less to worry about.
"Good. In that case, this place will be home to both your peoples from now on. But let me make one thing clear: since you've both agreed, I expect you to keep your subordinates in line."
"Discuss among yourselves how you'll live together, but whatever happens, you must not attack each other. If you can't control your subordinates, I'll replace you. If I really have to step in, I'll show you what despair means."
As he spoke, a trace of killing intent flashed from Lin Yuan. The cold aura made Saga and Gan Fall shudder at the same time.
"Rest assured, my lord. As long as we can return to our homeland, I promise I can persuade my people."
Saga hurriedly thumped his chest as he made his promise.
"New God, rest assured, there won't be any problems on my end either."
Seeing that they had both agreed, Lin Yuan stood up.
"In that case, go gather your people and make peace. Let everyone know about this, and while you're at it, see how many voices oppose it and deal with them."
"I won't take part in this. For now, you two can make your own decisions about anything that comes up. As for the development of Sky Island, I'll tell you about that later."
After speaking, Lin Yuan asked Gan Fall for directions to Birka, then transformed into a dragon god and departed on Flame Clouds.
Looking at the crimson dragon god stretching thousands of meters across the sky, Gan Fall and Saga nearly popped their eyes out. Both fell to their knees, feeling as though all the strength had drained from their bodies.
"His lordship is truly terrifying!"
Others saw the sight as well. Skypieans and Shandia People alike stared at the sky in terror, their hearts filled with shock and fear.
Compared to Enel, who called himself the thunder god, the crimson dragon god Lin Yuan had transformed into, thousands of meters long, was far more awe-inspiring.
That very day, Gan Fall and Saga eagerly gathered their people and told them that they would share the Upper Yard from now on.
They also declared that, under Lord Dragon God's leadership, they would live together in peace.
As the former god and the leader of the Shandia People respectively, Gan Fall and Saga still held considerable influence, and most people were willing to accept the arrangement.
But some disagreed. They were all ministers who had previously held high positions and great power. Though they voiced their opposition loudly, they fell silent when they heard about the dragon god.
Gan Fall and Saga showed them no mercy, however. They acted decisively and stripped them of their authority.
Lin Yuan knew nothing of this, nor did he have time to concern himself with it now.
He had already arrived at Birka, Enel's homeland. Although Enel would eventually destroy it, it still existed now.
Lin Yuan had returned to his original form. He spread out his Observation Haki, slowly sensing everything around him.
Fortunately, Birka wasn't large. With Lin Yuan's strength, he surveyed the entire place in less than an hour.
Within his perception, a man who looked to be around twenty was searching for food in the forest. He was dressed in rags, and nothing about him stood out in particular.
But Lin Yuan got a clear look at him. The headscarf and those enormous drooping earlobes were especially unmistakable.
"Found him. I wonder if Enel has eaten the Rumble-Rumble Fruit. But judging by the look of him, he probably hasn't found it yet."
Lin Yuan had no intention of waiting, though. He revealed himself and appeared directly in front of Enel.
"Who are you?"
Enel stared warily at the man who had suddenly appeared, a flash of viciousness in his eyes.
"You're Enel, right? My name is Lin Yuan. I came specifically to find you. Interested in following me? I can grant you one wish."
Enel froze at those words and looked at Lin Yuan as though he were an idiot. The man before him looked even younger than he was, yet he wanted Enel to follow him.
But Enel soon noticed something different. He pointed behind Lin Yuan in disbelief.
"You don't have wings? You're the same as me?"
"The same as you?"
A smile appeared on Lin Yuan's face. It was the first time he had heard anything like that.
But when he thought about how Enel lived alone on Sky Island, where everyone was a Skypiean, and had never seen anyone else, the reaction seemed normal enough.
"I suppose so. But we're all human, and I'm what you call a Blue Sea Person. If you follow me, I'll show you the real world."
Although Enel looked down on his luck, even somewhat miserable, Lin Yuan had keenly noticed that the moment he appeared, Enel had used Observation Haki.
It was faint, but Lin Yuan had still picked up on it. That made him want to recruit Enel. After all, Enel was a talent.
"Follow you? You just said you could grant my wish? Then can you help me get something?"
Though seeing someone like himself had excited Enel for a moment, he soon fell silent. After everything he had experienced over the years, he no longer trusted anyone.
When Lin Yuan heard Enel's words, something stirred in his mind, and a smile appeared on his lips.
"Hahaha, if you join me, then no problem. What do you want?"
