Lin Yuan spoke casually. Having read the original story, he naturally knew the contents of the Poneglyphs the protagonist's crew had encountered.
The one on Sky Island recorded Poseidon's location. Lin Yuan knew that the current Poseidon was Shirahoshi, the princess of Fish-Man Island.
But Shirahoshi should have been born only recently, and her powers would not begin to awaken until Queen Otohime died.
As Lin Yuan's thoughts wandered, Olvia's surprised voice rang out.
"Xiao Yuan, you actually know what it says? Can you read these characters? Did Robin teach you?"
Robin also looked at Lin Yuan in surprise. She knew she had never taught him any of this. She had asked him about it before, but he had only wanted to train and had shown no interest in that knowledge.
"Hehe, no. I'm not interested in this stuff, but I met someone before who told me about it, that's all."
Hearing this, Olvia asked no further questions. Instead, she turned back to the writing, a captivated smile on her face.
She had stayed in Cocoyasi Village all these years. Although she wanted to go to sea in search of Poneglyphs, she also knew that leaving would put Lin Yuan and Robin in danger.
It had nearly become a source of anguish for her, and the rubbing of a Poneglyph Lin Yuan had brought back had lifted her spirits considerably.
"Olvia, Robin, I actually know quite a bit more. Do you want me to tell you?"
Olvia and Robin stared at Lin Yuan in disbelief, but Robin immediately stopped him.
"Brother Lin Yuan, don't tell us. You're taking away all my sense of accomplishment. It's only fun if I decipher it myself."
"Even though I'm still too young to go looking for answers myself, I still want to decipher the Poneglyphs on my own. But if you find any more, you can bring them back for me."
Hearing Robin say that, Olvia smiled and nodded as well.
"All right, then. If I come across any in the future, I'll bring them back for you. Once little Robin grows up, I'll arrange a team of strong fighters for you, and then you can explore on your own."
Olvia and Robin's eyes lit up, and they looked at Lin Yuan gratefully. Robin even threw herself into his arms.
"Brother Lin Yuan, thank you so much!"
"Hehe, you silly girl, there's no need to be so polite with me. Once we go to the Grand Line, I'll help you find a few more Poneglyph rubbings. As for the rest, we can take our time looking for them later."
Robin was even happier to hear this, her little face flushing with excitement.
She did not refuse Lin Yuan's kindness. Clever as she was, she naturally knew that with her current strength, there was no chance she could go to sea in search of Poneglyphs.
Olvia made no move to stop Robin from lingering in Lin Yuan's arms. Instead, she watched them with some happiness.
The three chatted for a while longer before parting, Robin watching reluctantly as Lin Yuan left.
Lin Yuan did not rest. He sat cross-legged on his bed, carefully considering Tesoro's suggestion.
"Looks like I really do need to visit Water 7. Besides seeing whether there are any suitable islands, I should also order a few good ships from Tom."
As Lin Yuan recalled, Tom had not died yet. Although Tom had been sentenced to death for building the Oro Jackson when the World Government purged everyone connected to Roger,
he had received a ten-year stay of execution after proposing the Sea Train. His apprentices, Iceburg and Cutty Flam-the Straw Hat Pirates' Franky-were also skilled shipbuilders.
Tom was still alive now. If he could help Lin Yuan modify the Ark Maxim, Lin Yuan could save his life. As for the World Government's CP9, they would be perfect practice for Enel and the others.
There was still plenty of time, though, so there was no hurry for now. He spent a while longer making plans in his head before resting.
Early the next morning, when Enel found Lin Yuan, he had already been training for an hour.
Enel looked at the mountain peak that had been sliced flat, then at the trees beside it, which Lin Yuan's slashes had turned into straight, smooth strips of wood.
Tesoro and the others did not react much, but this was Enel's first time seeing how Lin Yuan trained, and he was shocked once again. He finally understood why Lin Yuan's slashes were so terrifying.
During his time with Lin Yuan these past few days, he had learned a little about training. Lin Yuan leveled mountain peaks with a single slash to train his strength, and cut trees to train his control over it.
"From now on, all of you should come an hour earlier each day. Train in the morning and develop your Devil Fruit abilities in the afternoon. Tesoro, for now, work out a plan for launching the merchant association."
Tesoro and the others had no objections. They were all brimming with drive.
Without needing Lin Yuan to urge them, everyone except Enel began training. Tesoro, Stella, Erza, and Emile went to the foot of the small mountain Lin Yuan had leveled.
Their hands turned black, and they began training their Armament Haki. Only then did Enel notice the four shattered gaps in the front of the mountain.
"Enel, for now, learn how to train Armament Haki from me. As for Observation Haki, you've already awakened it, so just train it your own way."
Lin Yuan had no intention of teaching Enel how to train Observation Haki. To be honest, he had nothing much to teach him. After all, his own had only reached the intermediate level, not much higher than Enel's.
If Enel trained on his own and reached the level he had in the original story, that would already be amazing. Enel's Mantra could cover all of Sky Island, and that was not even his limit.
Lin Yuan then explained how to train Armament Haki and demonstrated it himself. Enel studied attentively and asked questions whenever he did not understand something.
Lin Yuan naturally held nothing back and taught him patiently. Given Enel's current physique, however, knowing the method was not enough; he still needed time to train.
By the time Enel understood how to train Armament Haki, Tesoro and the others had already begun practicing Observation Haki.
At Lin Yuan's suggestion, Tesoro and Stella paired off against each other, as did Erza and Emile. One attacked while the other used only Observation Haki to detect and evade the attacks.
Enel, meanwhile, began strengthening his body with the golden spear that weighed several thousand jin.
The morning passed quickly. After lunch, the group returned and began developing their fruit abilities.
This time, Enel's performance took Stella and the other two women by surprise. They had not expected the man Lin Yuan brought back to be a Rumble-Rumble Fruit user.
Although they were surprised, they were not particularly envious. They were already quite satisfied with their current strength.
