"What's there to be afraid of? Have we ever encountered an enemy we couldn't defeat while sailing this far? What navy and pirates? They're all just chickens and dogs."

I told you from the start, we should just go and rob it! What a waste of time! Soon we'll be in the New World, and we'll be closer to the One Piece. But now we're stuck here waiting!

The cloaked man was getting impatient; he always believed in taking action rather than talking.

"Boss, the first mate has gone out to gather information. If all goes well, we should receive the ransom tomorrow. Please wait one more day!"

The bald man advised, knowing that the captain was strong, but they weren't. If they encountered agents of the World Government, they would be in danger.

"The vice-captain is too cautious. Otherwise, our Flame Pirates would have become a great pirate crew long ago, and I would have become famous all over the world. Always keeping a low profile is driving me crazy!" The cloaked man was a bit irritable, with a temper as fiery as flames!

"But the first mate's decision saved us a lot of pursuit and trouble. The first mate was doing it for the good of the entire pirate crew!"

Neither of the two bald captains could be offended. The captains' decision meant everyone had to charge into battle. This was how it was before the first mate joined the ship; back then, every battle resulted in the death of comrades, and he was terrified of encountering a powerful opponent and being the next victim. But now, following the first mate's low-key policy, it was much safer; almost no one had died.

"Let's wait and see what happens when he gets back!"

After the man in black finished speaking, footsteps sounded above their heads. They were now in the basement of a small house, where the princess was tied to the wall, her head tilted to one side, unconscious.

"The first mate must be back; there must be some accurate news!" the bald man exclaimed excitedly.

"I hope it's bad news, so I can vent! Hahaha!" A hysterical laugh came from under the cloak.

"Please don't, boss! Your abilities are too monstrous, they'll hurt us!" the bald man said in a panic.

"Captain, what's making you so happy?"

Just then, a clear voice rang out, with a hint of laughter in its tone.

"Oh, it's you back. How is it? Is it good news?" The cloaked man asked, though he meant it was good news, but his "good news" was a veiled desire to hear bad news.

"Our men spotted a warship landing at the dock. There were no obvious markings on the warship, and we don't know what rank the leader is!" First mate Kyle replied.

"Oh, so the old king leaked this. It seems our methods were too lenient. Kyle, with our strength, there was really no need for us to do anything. Let's just storm the palace. What's a warship like that to our pirate crew? It's not like we haven't destroyed them before!" the cloaked man said disdainfully.

"Let's give him another chance. The Den Den Mushi has already been taken, so we still have a chance to get that money back through more tactful means!" Kyle continued to persuade him.

"We must get this money this time. Our ship is worn out. We need to go to Water 7 to buy a good ship to prepare for entering the New World. We also need to be prepared to seize a warship and leave here. This group of sailors must die here!" The voice under the cloak was somewhat cold!

"Alright, I'll contact the royal family first and see what their plans are!"

Kyle was somewhat helpless. He didn't want too many people involved. The only people the Navy had sent to hunt them down were at the Commodore level, and the captain's current strength was not a problem to deal with them.

If the threat level is too high and attracts even more powerful figures, they definitely won't be able to enter the New World. His strength is much weaker than his own captain's, so he would be in more danger. Therefore, he has always advised the captain to keep a low profile, but the captain has a bad temper and likes to act openly.

Kyle took out Den Den Mushi and dialed the King's number. The Den Den Mushi was answered after only two rings.

"My daughter is in your hands?" a somewhat aged and weary voice asked.

"Yes, Your Majesty, we are only after money. Your country is so wealthy, 1 billion Beli shouldn't be much, right? So, is the money ready?"

"Of course I'm ready, but I want to know if my daughter is still alive!" The person on the other end of the Den Den Mushi paused for a moment before speaking.

"Her Highness has fainted and can't speak right now. I'll contact you again when she wakes up. Since the money is ready, let's make the transaction tomorrow morning. Cash on delivery, no tricks, okay? Wait for my call!"

Kyle hung up the phone as soon as he finished speaking, without giving the old king a chance to reply.

The princess, who had been unconscious, had actually woken up, though she hadn't opened her eyes. She had overheard their conversation and knew that her father had reported the matter to the navy.

"The information about the Navy landing on the island has been exposed. These pirates are too powerful. I'll most likely be killed after the deal. I don't know what Father was thinking. He could have just given me the money directly. Why did he have to report it to the Navy? Now we've angered them, and my chances of survival are even slimmer!"

The princess is only sixteen years old and hasn't experienced much hardship. At this moment, she is already feeling somewhat desperate!

She had witnessed the power of these pirates; so many guards had died in an instant. She knew that if it were an ordinary navy, they would be sent to their deaths, so her current situation was extremely dangerous.

"Captain, we still need to prepare for a retreat. The navy is a variable here; they'll most likely show up during the deal!"

"Haha, I was just afraid they wouldn't come. This time, none of them will leave. They're heading to the New World soon, so my bounty needs to be raised again to save face. Let's kill this princess in front of the king! How dare she deceive us? Let's give her a parting gift!"

The cloaked man's words terrified the princess. Although she had been worried about being killed, she hadn't received a verdict yet. Now that these words had finally been spoken, she panicked, her breathing became unsteady, and her body began to tremble.

"Boss, this woman was awake a while ago and has been eavesdropping on our conversation. What should we do with her?"

The bald man had been staring at the beautiful princess by the wall, his eyes gleaming with lust. He noticed the princess's unusual behavior and immediately reported it.

"Haha, do whatever you want! We're pirates, we're free beings!" the cloaked man said arrogantly, then walked back to the main seat and sat down.

"Don't kill her now. We might need her to call back. Don't push the king too far!" Kyle said calmly. He would need the princess later, and a princess with a tragic past might be more effective.

"Yes, yes, you can't kill me, or you won't get a single penny!" Princess Paula cried out in terror.

"Haha, we can spare your life now, but we can have some fun with you, we guarantee you'll be satisfied. We have quite a few people here, so you might have to work a bit!"

The bald man narrowed his eyes, a lewd grin spreading across his face, and his henchmen behind him burst into laughter.

The cloaked man smiled indifferently. He wasn't interested in women; he only craved strength and fame. Kyle, on the other hand, showed a look of disgust. He thought these pirates' methods were too low-level, and using force directly was pointless.
