Runes are too mysterious; even for God King, runes and magic arrays of the same level are a headache.
It wasn't that the group hadn't considered asking that guy for help.
Among the First-Level God, Rong Nianbing's combat power is second only to the God King level, and can almost be considered as Quasi-God King level.
The downside is that guy is too lazy!

Destruction, life, evil, good, and the ocean!

"After all, he's not God King level yet..." The God of Evil smirked as he watched this scene.
"What do you know!? I'm accumulating divine power and preserving my fighting strength so that I can fight the Asura God when he comes out!" the Sea God said indignantly.
"Shut up, all of you. The mission is about to fail, and the truth is about to be revealed," the God of Destruction said softly.
He once again activated the Source of Destruction, raising his divine power to its peak, and subtly becoming the leader among the five great gods.
"At this very moment!"
The Asura God's eyes burned fiercely within the furnace.
The group of powerful figures unleashed their ultimate techniques, attempting to forcefully destroy the Rune Furnace. Amidst a shower of light and dazzling radiation, a terrifying energy storm was unleashed.
The runes in the furnace suddenly intensified, and the temperature rose dramatically along with the increase in energy.
The already shaky and crumbling furnace suddenly developed cracks, as if it would shatter into pieces at any moment.

"So that guy was planning to use us to create such powerful energy!?"
"But what does he want this for? None of us could possibly handle something of this magnitude on our own!"
The gods suddenly looked up.
A blazing flame appeared in the sky, streaking down like a falling meteor, passing through the ever-changing clouds, and finally, accompanied by the sunlight, reached the sea surface, heading straight for the whirlpool.
It was an old man, bathed in the true fire, who looked as if he were floating on air.
" Yao Chen!" the Asura God shouted, having already learned of the old man's name in the previous River of Time.
"I remember reminding you of my identity as an alchemist, but you still fell for my trap, Asura God." The Yao Lao flashed through the rain of light and rushed into the vortex, unstoppable even by God King.
The five God King, along with the Sea God, fell silent.
Because that guy who was running for his life had that really smug look on his face.
" The Rune Furnace doesn't refine people, but rather the divine power you unleash!"
" Dou Sheng- level expert, also known as God King, can create space. Only by fusing the power of all of you, and adding my final fire, can I return to my former world."
